View RepliesI'm running into a problem where in code I'm definitely only saying jmail.execute one time, but am receiving two emails. The time stamps and content are identical, but the message id is different.
It does not happen everytime. Is this a known bug with jmail? Has anyone run into this? The message id being different should be enough proof that it's not a problem with the mail server.

I've been using CDOSYS Mail and this bit of code fine for a year. Well, we wanted to change the method of sending email from the Webserver sending it, to designating a specific SMPT server.
So, I found this code on MSFT's web site (MSFT CDOSYS SMTP ) that will allow me to do this, and it works, except that the redirect command that I have at the end of the file no longer works. I have no idea why.

I am having a problem formatting an email message which comes from a form.
I am currently having difficulty with the <br> tag which I am using for line spaces within my email. I am getting an expected statement error message which is pointing to the line which is underlined below. I can't think what is causing this.

Now I want to have multiple recipients pulled from the database as illustrated in the code, but it isn't working. I have no idea why, and I have no idea what that error message means? Can anyone point me in the proper direction of a tutorial that can help? OR possibly show me where my syntax is wrong?
i want to build a trouble ticket system. i'd like to have a component
written in vbscript watch a specific mail folder for income email (something
like 'troubletickets@acme.com') the system should write the sender's email
address, time received, and message body to sql server, return a new trouble

Anyone got much of a clue how best to send emails to selected people from a database table and to be able to track them, maybe as much as a read receipt, or perhaps just checking that they don't bounce, or end up in the bad mail folder.

this script sends emails to some addresses but not others--and its based on the email service it's sending to. for instance, hotmail email addresses get the email, but mail.com email addresses dont get the email. i have tried sending it to other email hosts, too, and still, some work, some don't. what is going on here?

Personally I would put it into a DB. But My client uses a server that supports ASP but not access db. Go figure. and the current form made in PHP does not work for some reason. Is there a way to parse the email in ASP so it is organized.

I have made an html form which I would like to send by e-mail. When the recipient receives the e-mail form, I would like them to be able to fill it out and click the Submit button which will submit to an ASP page. This ASP page contains the code to submit the form data to a database. The page works fine when viewed through a browser, but the form will not submit in Outlook 2002 (I haven't tried other mail programs).....

I just need a form that sends to an email address and sends an attachment.
1. I have tried php: matt wrights script and jacks form mail.
(set to multipart form data: they send the mail, but still dont send the form attachment.)
2. I have tried using pure asp upload and the cdont mail object.
and that wont work with the imail smtp. ( i think I need to use cdo's or .net?)
If anyone has a form with attachment script that works with iis and imail email server.
I have an ASP script that collects information from a form on my site and
sends it as an email. The ASP script is calling CDONTS.DLL which is
registered on a win2k3 server with Exchange server running.
When submitting the form there is an error when it comes to the 'mail.send'
part of the script. I have given all the necessary folders the correct
permissions as per microsoft however I still get the same errors.
I believe it is something to do with permissions because if I disallow
anonymous access to the site and access it through the local network as a
logged in user the script works fine.
I am looking for a good e-mail contact form script for my bands website. Does anyone happen to know of any good free scripts for me to check out?

I have found a FormMail type script in ASP that will send 1 attachment but getting any more seems to be a problem.. Can anyone suggest a script paid or free download?
Also the webserver and exchange servers sit on different boxes will this cause any problems?
