I need help on this ASAP. I have to deliver this in another 3 days. There is a ASP page that has 4 text boxes. In the 1st one, I will enter a value. based on this value I enter in the text box, the other 3 text boxes should be filled in automatically. These values for the other 3 text boxes should be retrieved from a SQL Server 200 database based on the value in the 1st text box.

how do get dynamic content to a drop down text box from a db. For example:
There are two drop down boxes. First one continents Second one countries.
The user selects content from the first drop down box and using the onChange javascript function the data on the second drop down should show the countries related with that content.
I have a select list which retrieves the values of a field from a database. I also have
some text fields which I would like to fill with data from other fields in the same
table which are associated with the selected item in the list. I can't seem to figure out

I need advise as to how to do the following. In a asp page, the user can input
information via text boxes which goes to a database. If users click a check
box named final and submit the asp page, then next time they come, they will
not be able to change any information.

In a form I'm creating several asp text boxes for user input. When I look at these in IE or Firefox one or two are coloured yellow with a border, whereas the rest are the normal white with a thin blue border.
There is nothing I can see in the code that does this, and with a bit of testing I can force this condition by adding text outside the text box. Very weird. Has anybody seen this behaviour before. I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004, but I'm feeling it's not DW at fault here.

The other thing I like to do is add the price field to the drop down list (two fields in one drop down) is this done just by seperating the fields by a ","?
I am working on a script in asp (new to asp, 99% php) and I would like to validate the data (no problem) and then repopulate the data in the table that passed validation, spit out error message for bad data, and leave those areas blank, without using javascript.
I had no problem doing this in the past with php (they have more and better array methods in my opinion) but I am struggling with how to do this in asp.
Has someone done this before? If so, could you share the logic on this?

I have two forms - ie. Rate Request and Booking. I have two databeses. One for rate requests and the other one for bookings.

Upon submiting Rate Request form all customers get their unique quote #.
Question. The booking form has a bunch of different fileds but in essence they are the same as the quote request fileds in respect to the info in both. So to help the customers I want to enable this: upon entering their unique quote # in the Booking form I want the info from their Rate Request to be automatically filled in in the booking form. All infor needs to be in their respective text fields. I know how to populate each singe field, but have no clue how to make this "smart" population.

I have created a table called as 'usertable' in ms sql database. The columns in 'usertable' are username, loginid, password. The record gets added to this table, when a new user makes a fresh registration.

I have a form that the user would fill out. When he/she clicks submit it goes into another page that reviews the information that the user typed in the previous form. If all of the information is good for the user there's another button in that page that they would have to click.
This is what I want to happen after they click on this button. I want to record the data in a SQL database, which I know how to do that, but what I want to happen automatically right after inserting the data in the SQL database is that I want the same data to be carried over to another page where there'll be another form and want that data to be populated in this new form. How do I do that?
