Capabilities Of ASP.

What i'd like to know is what are the capabilities of ASP?

The reason i am trying to learn this language is so i will be able to:
(a) create form mailers (post, process, send)
(b) create member only sections (secure user + pass)
(c) customise forums (are there any good forums as ASP?)
(d) create easily updated pages (such as phpnuke would achieve)

I will probably think of more things i want later lol.

Am i asking for the world to be able to use ASP for all of the above?

Sorry to ask questions you's are probably sick of hearing, but i really want to know what language i should be sinking my teeth into.
