I have been looking everywhere, and can't find a complete function to create tables and columns in access .mdb from ASP, while adding columns that are missing in tables that already exist, can anyone post a link or the code to such function?

List Select Transfer
What i would like to be able to do is have two listboxes side by side, one will have all of the main categories and the second will have all of the sub categories in it.
I populate the first list by using this code:

Now what i would like to do is when the user double clicks say the second item on the list, the listbox next to it will display all of the items that are under the main category they just double clicked on
Adding From SELECT List
I have created a webpage with a form written in javascript for a user to enter information. Part of this form requires the user to type in information and then add it to a list, which is of the type <SELECT>. When the user submits the form, I want all the entries in the SELECT list to be entered into the database. If I use the command Request.Form("name"), where "name" is the name of the SELECT field, only the selected entry is retreived. I need to retreive all entries in the list. Does anyone know how I can do this?

I have an old application ( pre-VB5) that I need to add a select/option list to. This is an edit program so the values for the form will be retrieved from a database. How do I set the value of the dropdown with the value from the database. The value in the database is either new, trial, maint., employee, beta, or null. I need to set the dropdrown to one of these values. An example of the select;

I have two list boxes . User can select multiple values from the lists. Is there a way I can force that the user can select from only one of the list boxes? I need a piece of ASP code which will output the values in a select box no matter what their order. This is for re-arranging items in the database.
I have a page which displays al relevant rows from the database in a select box with a javascript function to move the items up and down in the box.
However, I then need an ASP output of the order of the box. Currently, when i request.form("ord"), I get the values "1,12,36,37,[etc]" but only in the order they are in when the first page loads. It does not re-arrange the items if they have been re-arranged using the javascript function.

I have a Select List box which displays values based on what value is selected in a dropdown list. For example, my dropdown list contains a class name, and the Select list contains all of the students who are registered for that class.
So what I would like to occur, is when the user changes the class from the dropdown box, the Select List is re-created displaying the students who are enrolled in that class.

Creating A Best Sellers List From My Orders Table
I'm creating an online shop which has an area showing the top ten best selling products. I'd like to generate the list of the best selling products from my OrdersDetail table (which is table showing listing purchases made on the site), ordered by the most popular at the top and the least popular at the bottom.
I thought if I could use the SQL DISTINCT command this would create a list of products without duplicates, then if I could COUNT them I'd generate a list of the most popular products in the OrdersDetails table. This nearly works but the list won't ORDER BY the COUNT column (I get an error). This is my code so far:

I have a sql server 2000 table with a comma delimited list of ids. there is a seperate lookup table with a desc for each id.
I need for this data to be retuned in the same order in which the data was entered into the database. right now it is returning ordered by the id from the lutable.

MS Access - Table Access Problem
I'm trying to access a table in a MS Access database using ASP but the name of the table is causing me some trouble. The problem is the table name has a space in it eg, "My Table".
If i try and access it using a query "SELECT * FROM My News", it says i cant find table "My". If i remove the space from the name (to MyTable) it works fine. But the trouble is its a customers database and i cant easily rename it because its linked to other tables and db's.
How can i access a table with a space in its name? I've tried "SELECT * FROM My_News" but that doesnt work either.
Access An Access Link Table
I have an Access DB which contains couple of link tables. All these tables are from different databases. So each one has it's own database password. Since there is no way to save the password during the DSN creation. Then you need to manually type in the password each first time when open the table.
This causes the problem in ASP code during run a query. Since the table cannot be accessed due to the password protection. Is there any statement than can open a table and meanwhile pass the password in? Does anyone experienced with the similar situation?

I am using asp within frontpage in this situation.
I am doing a simple select from one table, the table has a date field, the select should basically show the next 5 upcoming events based on date. I want to use a "current date" variable in there so the events that show are not in the past (i.e. upcoming events, not past).
I created a query in access and used the now() function for the date, but when I do, that the query does not work within the asp page (it does work within access itself).
