Modify Data Results Linkbar Buttons
If anyone can guide me to change my basic data results link bar buttons (First, Next, Previous Last). I will like to use my custom arrow buttons but don't know how. The default buttons are generated by default with i create a query. Where do i go to modify these buttons, and what code do i use in the new buttons i will like to use....
How To Pull Data For Radio Buttons From Database?
It s very basic question..but stil i am getting a bit confused.I want to have two radio buttons which can be selected as well be deselected. The value shud be inserted in the DB.
How should i go on doing this. Also if i want to see my selection when i return back to the order page..how should i pull it from DB and display the radio button with the dot in it(checked )?

I have a query that i have been having trouble with for some weeks and i am desperate to get working.
What i want to do is construct a statement from the values i pull from the database.
for example, i have 2 rows in the database, one field, called dbValue that has the values "Value 1" and "Value 2"
I want to pull the values from the database and construct an if statement like the following
if testing = Value 1 OR Value 2 then
else
end if
Could someone please help me out, the values have to be pulled from the database as they will be dynamic.
Stripping Down Database Results
i have a record that is returned by the database as domain/username. i want to be able to strip off "domain/" and just display "username". is this possible? if so, how would i go about doing this?

Pull Database Results
I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but I thought some one here should be able to tell me how it can be done. I'm building a site that will allow people to enter information about their company into a database, the information is then displayed in a profile page for them. They can enter things like news and events. This all works fine and dandy, but now I have had an idea.
Is it possible to be able to publish something for each company so that they can display the same information on their own website? I am thinking it would be something similar to an RSS feed.
Has anyone done anything like this before? The site right now is ASP with a MSSQL backend. The sites that will be posting the published information may be a variety of hosting platforms, if a certain platform is required then we will make it as a requirement.
Presenting Database Results In A Repeater Control
I am using a repeater control to display the results of a database query. The problem is when outputing the results of a multiline nvarchar field.
I generally try put it in a <pre> tag and try to enforce the table width. However this doesn't help and the table width when viewing the page is the width of the page, and not the specified width. Code:

I'm trying to just click a button and make that button take you to another page, this should work, but my syntax must be off.

I think there is something wrong with using "onClick" I realize this is an event and you can't have events in ASP but I thought this was easy. I must be missing something.

I have an edit and delete button. The delete button is using the form action to indelete.asp. I also want to use the edit button which needs to use the form action.

Alternative Buttons
Looking for a way to switch between submit buttons. The default will be "start" and when the tech clicks on that, the button will start a timer, which I have already set.
The button then will switch to "stop" and when a tech has completed a job and clicks "stop" the timer will also stop and switch the button back to start.
I know how to track the time for each tech that starts and stops a job. I need a jumpstart on how to switch onclicks for two buttons.

I've one form, but two buttons that when they're clicked, call a javascript function that validates all the fields and then, submits all the information. The problem is that one of those two buttons has some more actions that are defined in ASP, but I don't know how to do that.
I mean, how to run some part of the code if one button is clicked, and how to run another part of the code if the other button is clicked, using in both cases the same information submited in the form.Do I've to define which button is clicked with javascript or it can be defined with ASP?

Posting From Two Different Buttons
I have a table showing a list of records.On each row is a check box and a details button'.In the table header is a button to post back the checked items for deletion.
The 'detailsbutton' posts to another page to show THAT row's details and needs to post THAT row's uniqueID.
How do i go about this?I have tried jS functions that change values in hidden fields, nested forms etc and all I can get is one button working and not the other.The main problem is the looped recordID which I can't seem to refer to in JS.
