I have an administrative page that allows users to enter HTML which is then stored in a database. I would like the user to be able to view code extracted from the database without having the HTML rendered.

How Not To Display Actual URL
I have seen some of the website will display same url even if we go to inner
pages. In status bar we can see the url before click of the link but when
trhe page loads the addressber url still remain the same.
How can We do that using ASP? Is it some URL masking concept? (I think using
frames we can do that, But I am sure that website did not used frames).
Display An Image From Access, Stored As Location Name Not Actual Image.
I have a client who has had a ASP site with an Access database for several years. It stores information for the used cars on his lot. I have stored text in the database that points to the location of the image for each record. Each record will have a thumb image that is supposed to display in a list of vehicles available then the user can select an item from this list and a new page displays with the information and the regular size image. So far everything has worked fine exept for the display of the images which are stored in a separate directory called veh-photos. All I get are image place holders. I am using Dreamweaver 2004 and and Access 2000 for the database.

ASP Code Display
I just installed ASP and enabled the Web Server Extensions and still
cannot get any ASP code to execute.
I added some html code to test and all html code is executed fine, but
once the asp section is reached, blank is displayed below the html
code. I then scaled back and created a Hello World with asp code with
still no results. I turned every one on that server, and am running
out of ideas

try the objRecordset.MoveLast but I get the erros saying "Rowset does not
support fetching backward." How I can do that?

I am putting together a website for a photographer. There will be a section where his clients can select various sizes of picture to order. I would to be able to display the images the actual size depending on the clients screen size and resolution. Is this possible?
I know that the server receives info on the resolution of the client computer, but that isn't quiet enough if you don't know the size of their monitor. OR the pixels per inch w * h of the client computer? It doesn't need to be 100% perfect - there are those monitor controls that let you stretch and compress the active area of the monitor but most people will be within some reasonable range.

I'm just trying to set up a testing server via Dreamweaver that is my local box. HTML works fine and ASP works fine IF there is no js code input. I can save a few images in a table as an ASP page and it works great, but if I try to pull a table from a database, the browser suddenly displays the code, rather than the page.
I've heard some people referring to articles that might address this, but so far I'm not seeing them.
I have .asp files being handled by asp.dll from the internet information services section.
What the heck am I missing? What else should I provide y'all so we can brainstorm this?

I am in the middle of writing a system with 8 different entry form screens, at the end of the 8 forms (10 entry fields on each form, with pull down scores of 0 to 10) I want to do the following :
total up the results for each form/screen
sort the results
display the top 3, with additional text, and then add to the database
Now, I've got the 8 entry screens working fine, with verification, so I have the 80 available numbers. I have added these up to create 8 totals. Where I'm stuck now is the best way to sort these and display the results I require. I could do it with a messy, nested "if one > two then if one > three" etc etc approach, but wondered if anyone had a less stressful method to consider?

I've been creating a page in asp which displays records from an access database. I have limited the number of records displayed to 5 per page. If there are more than 5 records then the user can click next to view the next 5 and so on.
My Image field in the database has a data type of "text" and then i put the path to the image. However when i run my asp page it displays the path as text and im not so sure were im going wrong.
