View Replies View RelatedI am calling the values from a table and displaying them in a table, no biggie, i have not used a for loop to create the Html table, rather i have created it myself using a for loop so i can specify the table values i want.
What i am calling from the table is All of the fixtures for the football games in a season but i want to put a seperator or insert a spece of some sort just to seperate the fixtures by date otherwise it just comes out in a long list of fixtures, no nice on the eyes.

View Replies View RelatedI currently have entries in my dbase with time stamps. Does anyone know how I would display only those records with the time stamp that reflects a particular day. For example I want to display all records from today which would be 8/23/2004 on the page.
Im assuming this has something to do with the Date () function but i dont understand how it could incorporate it into code.
I've been searching for an answer to this for quite some time now and have found nothing, so maybe (hopefully) someone out there will be able to help me.
At my work, we have a lot of folders for different jobs we've done. And right now, we have more than one person making the folders for all the new jobs that we get. I am trying to make a database were it will only show the jobs that have not had folders made. In order to do this, I've created a field titled "Initials". I want the webpage to pull up all the records where the Initials field is empty, but I'm having trouble doing that. I've tried a few different things and have found no success.
I'm not having a problem accesses the database or updating it, just displaying the right information. I'll give a little illustration (because I'm never good with words):
Say I have 3 jobs: Job #1, Job #2, and Job #3. Someone has already made job folders for Job #1, but Job #2 and Job #3 still need to be made. Since Job #1 has been made, that means there are initials in the initials field of the database and thus, I do not want that Job being displayed on the "To Be Made" page. Job #2 and Job #3 do not have initials in the initials field and as such, I want to display those jobs....

i have a page which displays a list of events searched for by a particular date. we usually have a lot of events and i don't want the user to have scroll through all of them, especially if they're interested in a particular type of event.
i have created a dynamic drop down menu which consists of all the event types. how can i got about displaying the events returned by the query to a specific event for that date.
so for example, if some one searches for 03/08/2005, they will initially get a list of all events for that day. if they click on "Closed" from the drop down menu, it will display all the "Closed" events for 03/08/2005.

Right now we just display the name, start date through end date (if there's a different end date). So the above looks like:

I have a client who is running a Windows Media Server where audio files are streamed with a ASX file. The client wants to display the most recent tracks played on a webpage.
The problem is, how can one find out what is the current track playing on Windows Media Server, so it can take the data and then insert it into a database which the webpage can just take it from there.
I'm using ASP to display data from an Access Database. My question revolves around the data and how it looks using CSS.
1) Do I have to use <p> in my access data to display paragraphs in my story.asp page? Without the <p> I just get one big chunk of data.
Which leads my to my other problem. When I do use <p> in my access data this code won't pick up my CSS class "body". I'm not sure why because I would think it would cascade.
