Hotmail Blocks Dundas Mail
has anyone used dundas mailer? I notice hotmail either blocks it or what ? It does deliver to all others mailboxes i have used. What am i doing wrong or omitting ?

Hotmail Blocks Emails Sent W/ CDONTS/CDOSYS?
For some reason, the email scripts on my web site can't send emails to
Hotmail accounts. No error is generated, but no email is sent either. I've
done some searching on this matter, and it appears as though I'm not the
only one having this problem, but I have yet to find a solution :(
Below is my CDOSYS script that was *supposed to* resolve the problem by
passing the SMTP server's along with the email, but it doesn't work :(
Have any of you had success with sending emails to Hotmail accounts via CDO?
I don't have control over the server's setup because it's a hosted account...
Sending Htm Mail With Cdosys To Hotmail
When I send htm mail to hotmail using cdosys the links appear like this " javascriptl("news01.htm"); " without quotes, the images appears in the worng place and they shows as attached, but when I send the same mail to Outlook there is no problem, the links and images apeears in the right place, there is no problem with it jus in hotmail or free web based application mail. (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc...)
Somebody Knows why??
Asp Mail Categorised As Spam In Yahoo And Hotmail
I found that the email i generated constantly categorised as spam mail in yahoo and hotmail. I havent tested other mailbox like gmail or aol.
the visitors of my site cann't get the email, i have to ask them to check on the junk folder

I am inserting the text values words in the form of text chars into the Microsoft Access using ASP code. I am collecting these texts from text files and inserting in Access Fields.
But after insertion I am getting there some Rectangualr shaped characters after each word. how I can I solve this problem ?

ASP Dundas Mailer Question
I am still finding my feet creating a website in ASP, and i'm trying to get
to grips with users providing feeback to my site.
my webhosts have the dundas mailer installed, and i am trying to get it to
work for me.
does it work in conjuction with regular html? can i add a <form> and text
fields? and then will all that get sent with the page? .....

Ive run into a little trouble. I am sure all of you have used hotmail. Well you know when you select all items to delete, i would like to do something like that, however not delete, but update a field from no to yes.
I would like to add checkboxes to an asp table. So if the user selects say three items they then click on a button, say marked and for each item, it will go to the table and find each record in turn and update the corresponding field from a no to a yes.
Updating is no problem. The problem is, how do i add checkboxes to corresponding asp table. So that particular checkbox corresponds to that particular record. I don't know how to link them together.
Can someone help me out please?

I know that hotmail has a service (may be XML) that allows you to retrieve the Hotmail/MSN contact list. I am using cdonts in my asp scripts to send emails to the users of my website.But every mail to i send to an hotmail account gets in de hotmail spam folder.is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

I'm using CDO from my vb component to fire email. The problem is
whenever one of the email addresses in to, or cc is wrong then none of
the mails are fired even to the correct addresses. It gives an error

Sending E-mail To Different Mail Box!
I would like to know if this can be achieved! On the form I a drop down menu that's called ("Escalation_type") the values are eta, hdtv, and supervisors. I have some ideas but I am not sure if it will work or not. If the use chooses an eta as a value I would like it to be sent a mailbox for exam: no@where.com. If they choose hdtv as value I would like it to be sent to a different mailbox. Can this be achieve by using the case statement or the if statement?

servers to Windows 2003 servers. Since the move to IIS 6,

server to support CDONTS to send smtp mail.
I have used this method in asp pages for years without

the smtp server completely, and still no luck. I can send
mail using OE through the server, so I don't believe it's

I have two windows 2000 server, while running from one server i got the mail, while from the other i don't got the mail,on the second one the mail is dump in the mailrootqueue.
is there is some problem with the CDONTS setting on the second server, or some other problem

Cdo Mail
I am trying to get cdo.message working on my home development machine,
however, when I send it it appears to get stuck in the queue and never
actually gets sent.
If I don't have a domain SMTP set (either alias or remote) then I get an
error on page. But if I set these, the email just sits on the queue. I have
been trying to work it out from other posts and forums, aspFAQ etc but with
no joy.
Could someone supply a step by step guide to getting SMTP set up on a win2K
pro machine and how to get these mails out of my servers queue and into the
outside world so I can properly test code withing having to upload to my
hosts server and get the email back?

We use a custom built mail system at work. It is an asp based webmailing system. It uses cdonts.When we try to mailout to our clients (as a group) about 1500 of them, most of them get the full email. Others get about a third of the email.
