IIS in our server is shutting down automatically on its own. I don't know what is the problem?

Shutting Down Oracle
On User Logout,I Close my Asp Application Browser Window,
and attempt to shut down oracle database.
The window closes, but Oracle Shutdown displays
"Stop Active Connections".
Can i avoid this window ? I am not using global.asa.

Shutting Down A Browser
i'm trying to keep users from being able to login to a site twice at the same time. everytime a user does a login, i stick their userID into an application scoped array. if they try to login again, i bounce them to an error page. i use the session_onEnd sub within global.asa to remove their userID from the array at the end of their session, and this seems to work fine.
however, if i just shut down the browser, the sub_onEnd doesn't seem to get called, so i'm unable to remove their userID from the application array. any ideas on how to force this sub to fire, or is there another way around this?

I have a win2k server. I just installed running service pack 3, am just updating to service pack 4 now.
i normally get the error, windows is shutting down in 60mins. pleases save your work. and shows a path to c:winntsystem32lssas.exe
I am wondering if this is a lasser worm or what ? cos i have had to format a couple of times, but still get the error.
what do i do ? Any Advice ?

I am building a database that users will update.
I have a table named "products".
Every product has a shelf life of 3 years and expires exactely at the end of the 3rd year.
Here is my table:
Productid ---- int
productName ---- varchar
manufacture_date ----- datetime default (getdate)
Expire_date ----- datetime
What I want is this, whenever a product is entered, the defualt date is the date the entry
was made. (I am using the "getdate") to automatically grab this.
BUT I also want the "Expire_date" field automatically calculated and then filled in.
That is, a user enters a product "manufacture_date" as 05/22/2003,
Then I want the expire field to be filled with 05/22/2006.
My preference is to handle this on the DB site and not ASP.

I have a problem with IIS 6.0 + IE 6.0. I'm POSTing back to an ASP page a long lists of IDs used for sending emails (>10.000). This process takes more than 30 min. The problem is that this process is automatically restarted by posting again all the data. I checked ASP page and there is nothing to reload the page. But after more than 30 min. (changed the timeouts) the process simply restarts by posting again the full list. I only need to
execute this page once.
why the whole process restarts posting back data (is not a simply GET, but POST)? There is no F5 / CTRL-F5 or Back buttons. It simply re-post data, without an error. It's my ASP page wrong? Or something wrong with IIS?

Automatically Refreshing A Page
I have an ASP page that displays random facts. Data is stored in a database. Everytime user hits on refresh, randomize function shows a new fact.
