I am trying to trun some numbers into currency using a calculated valuein a query.Although the result formats the results as currency, it sorts as a string would. Here is my statement:

I have a asp input form of a financial report. Here most of the fields are text boxes where the user need to input the values corresponding to an item.
However, there are few items which are calcuated field. Prior to submission of the information, I would like the user to know what the calculated field be (based on the information input in text boxes) before submission of the form. Is there any way to display the calculated value before submission in ASP?

i am having with my classifieds ads site, i am using Access. I little info first: every ad that is posted automatically includes the date it was placed, and on the actual ad page it shows when the user posted the ad and when it will expire.
the script always displays all date formats as so: mm/dd/yy however after using the following code in my asp files: session.lcid = 2057 it formats all prevouis ads like this: dd/mm/yy and that is what i wanted. Now here comes to the problem after inserting the above code every new ad that is posted on the site still shows the mm/dd/yy (us format) and i do not understand why.

Above does work as I want it to do BUT it inserts 1/8/2006 instead of 8/1/2006 as it should!
The best thing would be to exclude the date from updating at all, but when taking away the line:
& ", Datum ='" & Datum & "'" _
It gives an error... how do I solve this?

I am trying to construct an SQL statement that can grab all of the entries out of a table, where the Date field consists of today's date. The Date field is called 'DateTime' - and it is in a General Date format (DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS). I obviusly want to use an SQL statement like this:

However, that wont work because Date() will only return a short date (DD/MM/YYYY).

"DeadlineDate" = today (not today - 24 hours).
All records has a field called "DeadlineDate", and the date is stored in

I dont care about the hours (Ex: 07:00:00), just the date (ex: 13.08.2005).

I have built an online booking system for a hotel and all is working fine except for the fact that the ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates are saved in the MS Access database in US format. The user selects from a date picker pop, which places the in the textfield as English format e.g. 02/12/2007.
However when I try and save this value into the date column in my DB I obviously receive an error because the formats are different. Please could someone advise me on the best way to convert an English date to a US in order to insert this into the DB using ASP & MS Access.

Insert Into A Db...
Our graphic designer has just finished redeveloping our website. On the
site, we use SSL to secure the area where a user enters their personal
information to order items from us. (we do not do many transactions - maybe
1 per day...) We are a log home mfg company so they would only order plan
books, maybe a video etc...
When the user clicks "Submit Order", we want to encrypt each data item
(because of new legislation governing customer personal info etc...) and
write a record to an access db. From here it will be imported into our
Customer DB leads database...
I do not use ASP but program in VB 6 and Access 2000. ASP looks similiar in
many ways...
Does someone have a good ASP script for encrypting data? And, if so, is it
fairly strong encryption?
Also, is there any trick to writing an "insert" SQL script in ASP or is it
exactly the same as I would do in VB or Access? Maybe someone has an
"insert" script handy they could pass along including the command to
actually execute it?
