Submitting Form To A Preview Window?

I have a form with 2 text boxes, both of which add to a database and make up a dynamic page, i.e. page title & page text.

I want however, before the user can add the page, for the page to be previewed in a popup window. So effectively there'd be a button which when clicked would open up the new window, load the preview.asp page I have already built, and display the contents of what was typed into the text boxes.

So basically I need to pass the variables through to this preview.asp page - anybody know how I can do this?

How To Do Email Preview On ASP?

In my ASP page, I use CDONT to send email to client. But, I need to
allow user preview and edit the email content before sending it out.
Any advices?

I have two ASP pages - h_email.asp and h_email_action.asp

Inside the h_email.asp, I create a form and allow user to input
information for the email.
In the h_email_action.asp, it contains asp code for extracting fields'
value in h_email.asp and store them into database as well as send
email. All fields' value will be created as a string for the email
content.

Could anyone give me some suggestions?

Print Preview

I'm working on a project where I have a print button on my ASP page.Currently, I have it setup to open a "printible version" of the form with the print window automatically popping up. However, depending on the screen resolution of the user and the IE window size the printible version doesn't look right (but it prints correctly). I'd like to open the print preview window automatically instead how I'm currently doing it. Is there a way to do this?

Generated Pdf Preview Issue

I have to make a page with an inline frame, in this frame will come a dynamic generated PDF.

The PDF will have to be stored on the server to load in the preview frame but after the user had loaded the pdf in his browser I want it removed.

I thougt maybe I could use a General variable defined in global.asa that counts from 1 to 100 or something and every time a pdf is generated the number = number + 1 so I can create a pdf with the name ' filename & number & ".pdf" ' so that there would be constantly 100 pdf's on the server but not more and there is no danger of mixing up the preview which users get to see because it takes a while before their number is used again / their pdf is overwritten ...

Html Form To Asp

I created a html form and its data is sent when the submit button is clicked. The files are: rcf.html this for the users to enter their data, rcf_add.asp this page is to show the users their data is recevied, and rcf_view.asp this page is the view all the data that is in the access database.

The problem I am running into is when the submit button is clicked on rcf.html page, it should take the users to the next page (rcf_add.asp) where saying "thank you..." but instead, the code of the rcf_add.asp is displayed. I am going to upload all of my files and if anyone can figure out why please please let me know! I've been trying for the past week.

HTML <form> Value Does Not Get Posted

Basically, everything is written in ASP. Firstly, a user fills in an
online (ASP) form, and then submits it to another ASP page (e.g.
Send.asp). Now Send.asp retrieves all the form data and sends another
HTML form via an e-mail. I then receive and open the HTML email(s). Now
everything is going fine up until this point.

When I hit the submit button from the e-mail, it posts all the form
data to another ASP page.

Now this is when things start to get a little weird.

Half the time when I submit the form via Outlook 2003 message, the
other ASP page would load will all the form data intact. Every other
time, the other ASP page would load will NO form data at all; just
blank text boxes, textarea, checkboxes, etc ...

I've done a few experiment of my own in the hope of finding some
answer. So far, I've only seen this happen to Outlook 2003 and not 2000
(we have a mixed between those 2 versions).

Also, it only happens to users in the same state as where the IIS
server is located. For example, the server is located in state A, so
any users with Outlook 2003 in State A will experience this problem
half the time. Other users in State B, C, D, etc ... using Outlook 2003
does not experienc this problem. Because the link is a lot slower for
our interstate users, I'm starting to think that maybe network speed
has a part in this behaviour.

What i don't like is that when the asp-script is executed a blank page is displayed and i would like to display a "Thank you-message" not in a new window but instead of the filled contactform. Again, i'm not an ASP-expert, but willing to learn.

The fact is that the code contains a <formthat should be submitted to

Anyway it semms to be impossible to make the form work. The submit does
not work; it is evidently an Outlook permission matter...

I verified that sever other things such as <iframes and Javascript code
do not work at all when an HTML is visualized in Outlook.

Is there a way, in your knowledge to go round the problem?

I would also like to be able to have the results stored in an Excel Spreadsheet as well. Formatting HTML Email From Form Submission?

All of my previous web page work has been done with .html and Cold Fusion. My new host does not support cold fusion but does have ASP 3.0 and ASP.Net 1.1. They've told me that I have to use CDO.Sys for sending email. I've spent the past 3 days doing all the research I can find but most of the examples assume a basic knowledge of ASP (which I am severly lacking in).

How To Form A Method To Change HTML TD Attributes When Passed Element ID?

I have a ton of TD attributes that have to be changed based on the
data in the DB. All TD elements are ID and runat=server.

Changing the attributes of a SINGLE TD is simple:

<td id=thisTD runat=server>

thisTD.Attributes.Clear();
thisTD.Attributes.Add("Class",reader["thisTD_Class"].toString());

Now, say we have 100 TD elements with IDs TD_1 to TD_100

I have not been able to find a way to (essentially) say:

for(int i=0;i<100;i++){
"TD_"+i.Attributes.Clear();
"TD_"+i.Attributes.Add("Class",reader["TDClass"+i].toString());
}

in J-Script, I could do it by Eval() or about eight ways through the
DOM. It seems crazy to me that if I can access the Attributes of a
specific element directly by ID (thisTD.Attributes), I couldn't also
access it by reference.

But I have been able to find NOTHING to indicate how this may be done.
Obviously, my problem is not limited to a single attribute, or else I
would have just typed them all out by now. Trouble is, there is a lot
of logic that must be applied to the data before setting the
attribute. Without being able to iterate or loop by reference, I will
be typing for ages just to change some freaking classes.
