Problem With ASP-CDOSYS-ATTACH Form
I’m writing about a form which processes another form from the which i send newsletters.
There are two cases, cdo (plan text) and cdohtml and everyone of them should sand mail with attach, it debends by which case has been selected in the generale settings, stored in a msaccess database.
The strange is that the mail in plain text format (case cdo) is sent, with attach too, and NO ERRORS are encountered:
the html mail des not works, even if the process says (no errors) no mails reaches the recipients. Code:

i recently finished a tutorial on cdonts and finished putting together the page and form etc. now ive been reading and it seems cdonts is being discontinued and cdosys is taking over. does this mean that my cdonts will not work and i have to trnasfer it to cdosys ?
how can i transfer it to cdosys ? or do i have to make a completely new mail script?

I have downloaded the script from brainjar but it needs a bit of tweaking because my smtp host requires authentication, I have added what i feel are the relevant lines of code but these are giving me a runtime error

I am having some problems with my code. It works perfectly, the only problem is that when sending the e-mail, it only sends the Message and not all fields. I need for this to send all fields in the form in the e-mail. Sorry for this very easy question but I am pulling my hair out here. I try to grab the checked files from HTML page and then send those PDF

I need to attach a label to each form element on an html form as I can not use the element names. For instance, my element is
<input name="DT_Ctl">
in the asp I use,
For Each FormElement in Request.Form
mail_body = mail_body & FormElement & ": " & Request.Form(FormElement) & vbCrLf
Next
However this means I would get,
DT_Ctl: 1
in my email.
I need to re-label the element without changing the element name so that I would get something like,
Daytona: 1
I am guessing I could attach some sort of variable to each form element but how do I do that.

I'm sending an email in ASP using CDONTS and I'm trying to attach a file from the user's machine (i.e. client side) and right now it works... BUT what im doing now is having the user upload the file and it is saved on the server in the temp directory, then once the email is sent, the file is deleted.
So here's the question... Is there a way to attach a file using only the file info and data - i.e. without saving the file to the server. I have a pure asp upload include file that will let me view a file's data in binray format and I was wondering how I could use this to attach the file.
So to reiterate, can I attach a file that is not saved on the server... any takers?

I have a web form that collects data and passes it to a mailer.asp page that arranges the form data into an nice html table and then emails it using CDONTS.
The form works fine. Here's what I am trying to accomplish:
Based on which of the checkboxes are checked, that is who the email needs to go to.
I cannot figure out how to attach an email address to the specific checkboxes.
I would prefer to keep the email addy's in the asp so that the spambots dont take them.

When a hotmail user registers they receive an empty email or so it

I keep getting this error when my website tries to create an object to send an email for the checkout email confirmation: Error creating object: 006~ASP 0177~Server.CreateObject Failed~800401f3. Do you have any idea of the reasons this could happen? I had an engineer configure the software for CDOSYS, and this is what he said: Andrew, I’ve replaced all the files and I still get the same error message. So this leads me to believe that we’re looking at the wrong site or where I am publishing to the wrong location. Either that or the host is doing some sort of an ASP caching.
I don't see how he could be publishing to the wrong location; i gave him the right ftp info. Do you know what an ASP caching is, or do you have any clue what i could do to try to fix this problem, or where this error came from in the first place?
URL URLI was told by somenone that the object is not installed and registered properly. Does this mean that the dll for CDLSYS is not installed server side, or that the error is a function of my server not being set up right?
