I've been trying to use javascript for form validation. I want to get all the validation done in one function since it seems onSubmit can only handle one "return functioname()" But there seems to be strict limits to javascript function complexity. For example, it seems I can't do this
if ( (a < 3 && b < 2) || (c < 5 && d < 9))
it seems I can't do any 'else if condition x'
also it seems I can't do any nest 'if condition return true'. Is there a way for a single javascript function to handle many different form validations? Or can onSubmit handle more than one returning function?
Response.Write("<script>isFlash();</script>") is what I had attempted for calling my function isFlash().
I have added the following script at the top of my code, so I cannot see a problem here, is there a method in which you must go through in order to get this to work correctly, have I added the function call correctly?

I've been playing with the idea of just how to use an ASP page to provide a remote function call. In an ideal world this would be a web service but how can you do it if restricted to ASP 3.0 ?
Idea 1 was to write an ASP page that accepted arguments using the classic ?X=1&Y=2 type of strings and have the page return an ADO disconnected record set containing the results of the action. This is call very well, and works, but you do have to allow the browser to create an ADODB.RecordSet in which to place the results which goes against some security principles. Code:
