Return 2 Access Field Values To Form REQUEST

I have a request form that is used for requesting copies og an edition of a magazine. What I need to do is get back the information, from a MS Access table, for the issuedate and deadline.

Because the deadline is not always the same number of days (ie dependant on issue it could be 14 days before, or 21 days before etc), so as well as picking the issue date from the table, I need to be able to get the deadline date back, and write to a seperate Request "field" on the Form. Code:

Request.Form Not Retrieving Values

I am having a slight problem. I have an asp page called custfeedback.asp. This page contains fields where the customer fills in name, email address comments etc. The form gets submitted to feedback_complete.asp, where a message is displayed thanking the user.

My problem is that the variables in custfeedback.asp are not "retaining" their values when the user is redirected to the feedback_complete.asp page. I know the asp is working, because I have the following line in that displays correctly:

<% Response.Write (now()) %>

I have no idea why the variables aren't retaining their values. Does any one perhaps have any idea how or why this is happening, and how to resolve this problem?

Request.form Field

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to use an email-processing page for different forms.For example, having a feedback as well as a contact form page.When the user fills out the form I would like it to be processed on the next page,which will display all the completed fields as well as email them to the recipient.

I can do this with just one form,but what if I'd like to use the same form-processing script with a different page and then another without having to specify particular form fields.

This is done in CGI.I looked at Matt Wright's formmail script but I don't know if the same carries over to ASP.

In asp I need to dynamically grab this data not knowing that this form had the textfields "text1" and "text2".

Request.form And Dynamic Field Names

Is it valid to get information from a request.form assign that to a value then use that value to get other content on the requested page.

I return a large rs with multiple feild names. I can't use a static feild def because they would overwrite each other on the loop, SO i create dynamic field names then pass the id back to the next page via javascript. I then use that id to add to the feild name to make sure I get the right feild.

Id = Request.Form("Id")

SQL STUFF

CheckedID=Request.Form("Name_"&Id)

Form Field Values

I have a form F1, once submitted it goes into another form F2, I want the fields in F2 to be filled with the values the user filled out in F1. in php I would use the $_POST[] to get it, but I dont know nothing of asp

and from what I could find on the web, would this work?

Code:
<asp:textbox id="txtLastName" runat="server" MaxLength="30" Width="140px" Height="21px" value="Request.Form('lname')">

and what if they accessed the page directly, rather than through a previous form, would it field appear blank? or do I have to have an if statement. also what if based on the F1 value I want to select (check) a checkbox/radiobutton or drop down menu in F2?

I loop through a recordset to return values that populate a form which
the user can then edit and save. However these fields need to be validated first

Pass Form Values To A Page After Inserting In Access

I'm using DWMX and Access DB.

i have setup a form on a normal http page which collects name address etc and is then passed to a https page to collect credit card details, on clicking submit on the https page the credit card details are inserted in db on secure server along with one field that was passed from the http page (the user id).

this all works ok, however i then need to pass the remaining orignal form values back to another http page that then inserts these values to another DB. ok you may be asking why.... the first forms allows the user to correct information already held on file before upgrading their listing, i then need them to pay for the upgrade before inserting the amended data in the orignal database... How..

Request Values

I am displaying an image on an ASP page using an <IMG Src=Image.asp>. image.asp delivers the image using BinaryWrite. This is done to keep the images from being harvestable. My problem is I don't want somebody to be able to come directly to Image.asp so I wanted
Image.asp to be able to get the Image to display from the originating page.

Only problem is that in Image.asp the Request.Form collection is empty. Is there some way that I can determine that the request is coming from one of my pages and not somebody coming directly to Image.asp.

I know that I could do this with a session variable but I don't want to enable session state.
