I am using dreamweaver to make an ASP page. I have a table of data
from a MSSQL database that is currently showing on the ASP page. I
want the ability to change the color based on a priority number that's
in the MSSQL database (same recordset that the data comes from).
I
don't have the priority field out on the page but can put it out if
need be. I have 3 different priority numbers and if the first row is
priority 1 I want the font to be red and if the second row is priority
2 I want the color to be yellow and so on.
I'm looking to display information pulled from a database based on information the user puts into a text box. The user will enter their sales rep number and I want to hit a table and return their name as soon as they tab off of the text box. Any ideas or help would be appreciated
ASP/javascript with a drop down populated by an access database. The drop down works fine but I cant figure out how to get it to change a value of a text field.
I want the value in the text field to change to reflect the data in another column in the table, same row. Code:
I am working on a small application for senior users, so I want to limit the option for incorrect input whatsoever. I have a drop down box that is populated from a query and I want to make it so that when an option is selected, the pertinent text fields are populated based on the selection.
All the info I need is already being extracted from the query so its just a matter of displaying the right info based on the selection. I have been looking for examples of code but they all seem to use javascript. I am not too strong in javascript so I kinda avoided those. if there is a pure asp example, that would be fine!
I have data outputted to the table such as (where * are dividers): Name 01 * Category 1 Name 02 * Category 1 Name 03 * Category 2 Name 04 * Category 2 Name 05 * Category 2 Name 06 * Category 2 Name 07 * Category 3 Name 08 * Category 3 Name 09 * Category 4 Name 10 * Category 5 Name 11 * Category 5
I want each "Category" to have it's own background color, aletranting colors would be ideal so:
Name 01 * Category 1 (Background Color #fff) Name 02 * Category 1 (Background Color #fff) Name 03 * Category 2 (Background Color #ffc) Name 04 * Category 2 (Background Color #ffc) Name 05 * Category 2 (Background Color #ffc) Name 06 * Category 2 (Background Color #ffc) Name 07 * Category 3 (Background Color #fff) Name 08 * Category 3 (Background Color #fff) Name 09 * Category 4 (Background Color #ffc) Name 10 * Category 5 (Background Color #fff) Name 11 * Category 5 (Background Color #ffc)
Is there a way to control the hypertext color. I noticed mine are blue when not clicked and red/purple when checked. Is there a way I can make them say white and blue?
I have built an asp app that sends an e-card to selected recipients along with the text entered by the user. Well, on some machines the text is not visible because the background color of the table is not going across correct. The background color is supposed to be teal with white letters. However the background is going across white with withe letters on some machines. I am using the same browser (version and everything) as one of the machines that can't see it the correct way. I am able to see it fine. I have put in the back color for all of the cells the table, etc but it's still going through white. What would cause this to happen?
I was asked to incorporate colour options for items sold in my shopping cart such as pens.So if I am selling a pen that comes in 4 or 5 or more colours, then I have to create the number of types of collours for the pen. This is the link which is an example of what I mentioned http://www.27905398.com/product_inf...9a4aed0a18fb81d .appreciate if anyone familliar with this function

I'm writing an article which contains quite a bit of ASP code in the examples. What I would like is to show this code, in HTML, using pretty color farmatting techniques.
Things like comments in green, keywords in blue, operators in red, the kind of color formatting that text editors have. Does anybody know of any tools which can take ASP code as plain text and produce color formatted HTML output?
I know the basic 8, how do i find any others besides those 8? do you use hex codes? should also note that i need to be able to match the vbcolor to a hex color.
I load data from dtb and would be nice to have different color for loaded colors, e.g. blue and light blue. I dont know how to make it. Here is my code which loads data from dtb: Code:
Anyone have code for a color chart. Specifically a chart that when clicked passes the hex value through querystring or a form. I could make one, but I'm just feeling lazy today.
how to change the background color of a web form programatically from C#. I have found examples on the web for Visual Basic, but I can't get them to work in C#.
I have a web application that uses a list menu and there are two options you can select successful, and failure. I have another page called a log page. When i pull the records from the database i was wondering how i would change the font color to red if it was a failure.
im looking for code examples or assistance in creating a table that will alternate the row colors whilst highlighting a row in a diff colour when i move the cursor over it and when i click the row open a new url passing one of the column ref so i can drill down to the next level.
I am creating a table with two rows(one of which is the header), and 8 column headings. In the 2nd row, i am trying to apply 3 different colours that span various length across the row. I want the row to loop adding one colour directly to the end of another, but adding this to the correct length of colspan for each colour.
The code below is what i have done so far, but i only get a blue colour in the 3rds cell. Eventually i would like to have a variable length of row, as i do not yet know how many rows i need (this will be dependant on something else). But i would like the colour method to be applied to each row.
Also i need to be able to make colspan variable so after each loop, it will be updated by the new column amount ....
I am using a calendar, and I want the calendar to show a different color on the date if there is something with in that recordset. So if there is an event for that date display a color else do nothing. Im not sure how to do this?
The following html code appears in an ASP page. The hyperlink is set to white (see the page link color), but when the page renders in IE 6.0, it initially appears in maroon with a white border around it. When the user clicks anywhere on the page, it turns white. Does anybody know how I can make it appear white when the page first renders?
I have web page that I use for add/delete/modify records from a database. Depending on what the user desires on previous web page this particular web page allows users to add, modify, or delete the record from a database. Each has different directions and labels on buttons are change with in code.
My users also want the background color for add web page to be one color, modify web page to be different color, and delete web page third color. In VB this was form.background color, but can not seem to find solution in MSDN for this one.
