I want to lock the asp application after a period. if anybody tries to open that application it should not open. i heard that we can achieve this by using dll files or script components.plz,help me in solving my problem.

I am a .NET developer, but "have to" work with some classic ASP, which I don't know much about. What is the best way to work with it/debug it?
I have VS 2003 and 2005 installed, I know VS 6 (with C++), but don't know if I can reinstall it. Other options I know about are Macromedia trial versions.

Do any 'classic' asp developers have any knowledge about the client side sql
server EM tool found here:

I am hoping this will allow me to leverage default sql server database on
remote web host...but not sure if it will
run on WinXp Professional....I was told it does...
Also: any other fast track hints to get started would be great...I have some
knowledge on Access sp's and I understand that dates are handled differently
in sql server...
