Sending Data From A Form To A Vbscript

I've been asked to take data from a form and then send it to a vbscript. The client
has made a vbscript that performs a calculation (i haven't been told a great deal
about it yet) and now they wish to put it online, so that when a user enters
data into a form, it sends the data to the relevant fields in the vbscript.

I don't know a great deal about Visual Basic, so if anyone could explain how i might be able to go about this ..

Sending Form Data Between ASP And ASPX

Im doing an asp.net-application where we have an external asp-form in a iframe on the mainpage. On submit, the form sends its data through method="get" to a page with a frameset (i couldnt get the data through POST).

In the framsetpage, the data is receieved in the frameset and then sent to the lower frame through querystrings. The lower frame is also an external asp-page.

My problem is this, the .NET-platform is using utf-8 and some other way of URL-decode things then the old platform did. So for example the swedish letter 'Ö' is in .NET URLdecode '%c3%96' and in the old asp-way '%D6'. The asp-page has no idea what '%c3%96' means so the formdata is a bit corrupted on arrival.

What i was wondering is if there are any ways of convert the new way of urldecode strings to the old way? Preferably in C# since thats the site's main programming language.

input2.setAttribute("type","text");
input2.setAttribute("name","pName"+counter);
input2.setAttribute("id","name"+counter);
td2.appendChild(input2);

var input3 = document.createElement("INPUT");
input3.setAttribute("type","text");
input3.setAttribute("name","userName"+counter);
input3.setAttribute("id","prc"+counter);
td3.appendChild(input3);

var td4 = document.createElement("TD");
var input4 = document.createElement("select");
input4.name = "Role"+counter;
input4.id = "Role"+counter;
option = document.createElement("OPTION");
option.value ="Admin";
option.text = "Admin";
input4.add(option);
option = document.createElement("OPTION");
option.value ="Read";
option.text = "Read";
input4.add(option);
option = document.createElement("OPTION");
option.value ="Read/Write";
option.text = "Read/Write";

Passing Data Between 2 Pages

I have a asp page created which pulls information from an access

I want to put a link on this page which when clicked will open a
smaller new window asking the user to input their address. Once they
input the address and hit submit, the 2 addresses, user inputted (as
starting point) and the one from database (ending point) needs to be
inputted such that a url is formed, leading to the directions page on
yahoo or mapquest or any other site.

My question is how do I take the ending address and pass it over to
this new page (using http_referrer???) and then construct the url to
the directions page.

Do you HAVE to have ms access on the machine to access the data this way? We tried of course and got "data provider could not be initilized". Is there a way around that?

Passing Data To Pages Using Hidden Fields

I am creating a form that has 5 steps/pages. Each page contains about 20 fields. But I don't want to write them until they submit on the last page. I figured out that I can use hidden fields to carry the data from the previous forms forward. If should bascially work like this:

Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Page 5 Page 6
20 Fields 20 Fields 20 Fields 20 Fields 20 Fields 100 Hidden
20 Hidden 40 Hidden 60 Hidden 80 Hidden Write to DB

But the problem I am having is when I submit page 4 page 5 won't load. No error, it just won'tload. It seems to be overburdened. Is there a max on the number of fields it can pass? Is there a better way to go about doing this that someone can suggest? Or a suggestion that someone can make to fix this problem?

Sending A Fax From ASP Under XP

I've used the search tool and found several pages regarding sending faxes under ASP, but they all seem to suggest using some internet faxing service.

I don't know if this is possible, and it probably isn't under XP without additional software. (Small company, simple intranet site built on IIS.) I have a PDF form for an agreement for our customers.

Now, I already have a page setup where our reps simply input the customer's email address and it will send the form as an attachment. What I would like to do is make another page where the rep just puts in the customers phone number and it will fax the same pdf to the provided number. Is that possible through ASP on XP?

I've been looking around for some solution and I found this:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303647 for W2K.

Sending An Email From Within ASP

I have a form which will be processed by being sent to an ASP page. I would
like the ASP page to take the data from the Request.QueryString (which I
know how to do) and format it so I can have it emailed to me in a nicer
format. My problem is that I do not know how to have ASP send an email. I
know how to send an email using the mailto: protocol by making it look
something like the following:

MAILTO:username@mydomain.com?SUBJECT=mysubject?MES SAGE=mymessage

However, this will usually take the user to their default email client and
ask them to send an email by putting the specified subject and message in
for them, but wait for them to do any desired editing and click their send
button. I simply want the email to be sent straight from ASP. Is this
possible?
