A Single Java Program To Receive And Send Plain Text Through Different Ports?

I have programmed a Router class which has two methods, receive and send.In receive method it receives the plain text from the server through port 2000.Its now all cool.In send method it sends the message to a client through the port 2001 but at the client i get an exception

I learning java an created the following servlet. The only problem is it printed to the browser as text instead of html..
It literally printed like this.

I have just taken it upon myself to attempt to develop an application using java that will implement several features for my aircraft maintenance unit. I've taken a few courses in Java and I am a computer science major, so I wanted to use this as a way to improve my coding skills while also improving the effectiveness of my unit.
Anyway my application needs to have these key features:
1. Access a recall roster that is in Excel format and read the names/phone numbers of up to 200 members. The application also needs to be able to update this information and save it.
2. The application also needs to be able to initiate a recall to some or all of the members on the recall roster via text message.
3. The application needs to be able to receive messages back and display them under each name from the recall roster.
My current plan is to set up a GUI that expands JButtons in a scrollable window as members are read in from the excel document. Upon clicking any of the buttons the person will be contacted individually via a custom message that can be typed in via a popup window after clicking it. Alternatively you can check a box next to any persons button to add them to the list of people to be contacted and then click a button that says "Contact those checked" or something along those lines. Finally there will be a button that just says initiate total recall and it will contact everyone.
As for the interface I want each button to be highlighted red until a response has been received from the person associated with that button, which will then be recorded under their contact information.

The problem is i want to replace some string text with foreign characters, but JTextArea returns plainText.
For Example:

but textArea returns plainText.

I'm trying to do a program that send a single file from a client to a default directory of a Server. The program use the datagramSocket and datagramPacket for the transfer via UDP. The client sent the packet of the file correctly and the server start the receiving but every time the Server class crashes after it's receiving 4/5 packet (exactly 8192 byte)
Then i put the code of the 2 class and the 2 output.

I'm trying to build a program that contains the ability to:
(1) insert new node at head,
(2) print out contents of the list in order,
(3) remove first node from head,
(4) remove last node from tail,
(5) find a target value,
(6) give total number of occurrences of a target value, and
(7) give total number of items in list.
The areas I'm struggling with implementing are: (
- remove from tail - I know how to find the final node but I can't quite figure out how to set it to null since its initial type is an integer.
- find a target value - how to make the parameters quite workout so the user can simply input an integer value.
- The solution is probably really simple but I can't figure out how to print out the results of these methods when I call them.

I'm trying to send a text file over a socket, from client to server, but I doesn't work. I will demonstrate a part of the code that isn't working.
The critical part of the server look like this:

I haven't been able to find a cut and paste working example of how to receive MIDI data from a MIDI device, like my piano, and display something to System.out.There are all sorts of examples for synthesizers, sequencers and sending data to a MIDI device, but I have not been able to find a single example of how to receive MIDI data and just display a simple message.
I just need something simple that works to start playing with it, and understanding how it works. Having a working example would also support understanding the Sound API descriptions. They read like differential equations texts books to me, i.e. not clear at all.
I have a working example of how to poll all devices and getDevice.info, which is supposed to then be used to address a specific MIDI device.
I've also looked at a number of books, in the store and on line.I haven't seen a single example anywhere.the closest I found to working examples was on StackOverflow, but I didn't understand some of the other code in the examples, which may or may not have been working correctly anyway.

I'm trying to create a Servlet that takes input from a form and process it and insert it in database.tablename.

I don't want to use String []a=request.getParameterValues("studentname"); as hard code. The reason being the number of rows will be diyamic and I would like to get the column name and then then use an array of string to take values. But how can I connect these to form a query so that the rows goes on inserted one after other.

I've downloaded the Windows version of Java Commnunication API from java.sun.com. I extracted the zip file, placed the comm.jar at c:j2sdk1.4.0jrelibext folder.After that, i wrote a simple program to test whether i can get any serial/parallel port object from CommPortIdentifier.getPortIdentifiers();. It returns an empty enumeration, meaning that none of my ports are detected.
However I have checked that com1 port is exist using hyperterminal. I have RFID card reader and I am trying to read data from rfid card.

So I want to format my output in a table much like the one in the book. I have an SECTable class and it displays the table one row at a time. 4 of the rows are in the 2D array in the SECTable class. The decimal position values are just displayed via a loop going from 12 to 1 (8 bits), 21 to 1 (16 bits), and 38 to 1 (32 bits) and the binary position values have their own class which contains an ArrayList of the binary position values as strings. Here's an example of how I want the table to be formatted (this is after an error has been generated so all the rows will be displayed):
Binary Position: 1100 1011 1010 1001 1000 0111 0110 0101 0100 0011 0010 0001
Decimal Position: 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
Stored As: 0 0 1 1 1 0 0 1
Check Bits: 0 1 1 1

Error Check Bits: 1 1 1 0
And I need it to format similarly for 16 bits and 32 bits as well. Here's the display function for the list of binary position numbers:

I used the PLPDF software to generate a blob in PDF format in PL/SQL. I can open it in a browser but I would rather send it directly to a printer from PL/SQL.
I know I can use tools like BI and Jasper but I want this particular solution to be 100% database solution.
I was wondering of I can use JAVA in Oracle to send the blob to a printer.
