When I try to print out the account Id for each account object, the id is always 1. But it should be 1,2,3,4,5....all the way to the number of the account generated.My question is am I missing something in the constructor or in the main method?? I am new to programming.The main method create an array of account objects and generate random balances into each account object.

I've created the file no problem that actually writes the ten records. I was able to have the files be read sequentially with System.out.println(), but I can't figure out how to convert these into an array of Bank Account objects and have them show up in a scroll pane. I tried using string builder and array builder, but I couldn't figure out how to turn them into components. I then tried making an Account class to have them be sorted with comparators, but I had the same problem of actually getting them into the scroll pane. Also, as soon as I added in those methods for the GUI, the while loop wouldn't display the array information in system.out.println. I'm working on this weeks assignment and I've gotten stuck on passing information from one class to another. We are working with abstract classes this week, and the BankAccount class is the Abstract class that is extended by the CheckingAccount and the SavingsAccount classes. The Bank class is where the user inputs his/her information to process the commands. How can I work this to where the instructions are passed from the main in the Bank class to the different Account classes to actually perform the instructions?

I am having trouble with my if statements. I don't know how to link the number 1 & 2 keys to deposit and withdrawal actions. Plus I am supposed to have a while loop yet don't know how to implement this so that the while loop will ask the user if they would like to make another transaction after either depositing or withdrawing.

I am trying to build a method that takes an array of object and adds a new object of that type to the end of it . ONLY ALLOWED TO USE ARRAY , NO ARRAYLISTS VECTORS ECT . i realize that if the array is full you can use the java copy array method to make a new array and double its size until a certain point . The MAX AMOUNT OF OBJECTS is a constant that is 100 but for some reason even when executing my code i keep getting null pointer exceptions or index out of bounds errors , i have written this method many times now with out any success.
My question is how do I write a method that adds an object to the end of an array and if there are no spots left copies the current array into a new array and extend the size

We are doing a Timeline project, So this is what i want to do:
Pressing a "New Event" button opens the New event window where you are supposed to write input in three fields, name, date, and information. There is also a button "Create" that when i press that button, i want to take all the input from the fields and save/send it to our database, and go back to the timeline GUI. With this, i want a new event object to be created(in this case i have done several shapes in a group) so basically a new group i want to be added. All the information is suppose to be taken from the database right after i create it.
I'm pretty stuck on how i should solve this, for the moment have a group called event that i add on the canvas. First thing that pops up in my head is a void method that draws the event, or maybe a temporary array.. P

There is more code, but it's repetitive. Now, I keep getting an error. Array of bounds. I believe i get the error because the phone number. The phone number is on the next line..I created a different arraylist for phonenumber, but I dont know how to match it with the correct person, student, employee...etc.
In a project I'm ivolved in I have to dynamically add some components. All was going well until I had to generate data tables dynamically. I'm iterating a list of "SomeObject" and when I try to access a property of that object Glassfish tells me that object doesn't have such a property that is readable. I have getters for those properties and SomeObject implements Serializable as well. I used BalusC resources but I'm having no luck.
I am doing a bank queue simulator program which will figure what will happen in 100 minute where 0 to 2 customers comes every minute. 3 counters will handle these customers each counter will poll the customer after 3 minutes.my problem is queue.poll()is not working in counter method and it is adding null values to the queue in the same method. when i add while customers.isEmpty(); the program will not work i do not know why

I got one task from my manager, regarding browser back button, refresh button. He asks me the web application has to work like Banks site... means if I refresh or click on Back button(Browser's) then it has to throw the user out of session, I checked lot in internet. But I found like only disabling back button of disabling F5 keys like that. But he’s not accepting that.
How to approach for this? Can we throw the user out of session when he clicks on browser back button or refresh button. I think its possible . But i don't know how to implement.

This program asks the user for their starting balance, number of deposits, and number of withdrawals for a month
Now, if the number of withdrawals goes over 4, it has to include a service charge of 1.00 for every withdrawal that was more than 4 (This works fine so far)
The problem I am having is this:
The subclass part of this program is supposed to determine whether an account is below 25. If it is, it should make the account inactive, until the account is 25 or more. The subclass will have a method that will override the super's setWithdrawal mehtod to make sure that no withdrawals will be made until that balance is 25 or more.
Then the setDeposit method in the subclass will also override the super's setDeposit method and make sure that the account is not inactive before any deposits are made. If the account was determined to be inactive at that time and the deposits that were added make it jump to 25 or more, than the account should be changed to active and then be allowed to call the super's method to set the deposit.
So...the issue I am having is the subclass trying to determine whether the balance is under 25 before it calls the super's version of that method where it will allow the user to take money out and when making deposits where it will determine if the account was inactive first before make it active while the deposits raise to 25 or above.

I had to write a charge account validator program that compared the number you entered to a list of numbers using the array method. Now I have to modify the program to do the same thing but from a .txt file instead. I understand it is saying that AccountNumbers.txt does not exist, but I am positive that it does.
