Analyzing And Fixing Failed Cases In Stress Testing

There are few modules in our application whose performance degrade with time when 50-100 simultaneous users are working on them at a given instance.The memory allocations are taken care of to allow maximum data.My issue to where to start finding the root cause.
I am currenlty using JvisualVM for profiling and finding memory leaks..Do i need to Simualte 50-100 virtual users and start finding the memory leaks with JvisualVM or working with a single user would do ?
I've been tasked with checking over our product's javadocs. The product contains...I don't know how many hundred source files. I've began to notice a trend of similar small mistakes which I expect will be repeated throughout the entire product. So, in the spirit of developer's natural instinct to be efficiently lazy, I've started to wonder if there is an API out there which will allow me to run a quick check for common mistakes in our javadocs across the entire product.
Any API out there which can analyze javadocs? Ideally, I'd like to be able to write a quick and dirty program to recurse through the project structures and generate a small report on common mistakes in the javadocs (inconsistent phrasing, common capitalization issues, ect.). I can think of a couple ways of accomplishing this if I had an API which gave me access to a class's javadocs.
Write a class TextAnalysis14 which reads a text file and allows some text mining(Analyzing). Concretely the program has to support
1. total the number of words, 2. checking whether a word is contained in the text, 3. finding the most frequent word, or words in case there are more than one.
A word is a non-empty string consisting of only of letters (a,. . . ,z,A,. . . ,Z), surrounded by blanks, punctuation, hyphenation, line start, or line end. The analysis is case-sensitive.
I have now four types of employees. Managers (who receive a fixed weekly salary), Design workers (who receive a fixed hourly wage for up to the first 40 hours they work and "time-and-a-half," i.e., 1.5 times their hourly wage, for overtime hours worked), Sales workers (who receive a $250 plus 5.7% of their gross weekly sales), and Manufacturing (who receive a fixed amount of money per item for each of the items they produce -- each manufacture in this company works on only one type of item). and here are my classes:
employee class
the problem is i get this output:
You chose to open this file: Employees.txt John Smith Manufacturing 6.75 120 444 0.0 Betty White Manager 1200.0 0 111 0.0 Stan Slimy Sales 10000.0 0 332 250.0 Betty Boop Design 12.5 50 244 0.0
meaning that it is getting 0 for all my calculations and leading to this weekly report:
WEEKLY PAY REPORT FOR Wacky Widgets COMPANY Employee 0 WEEKLY PAY 250 Total Payroll: $0.0 Total number of managers paid:1 Total number of Design Employees paid:1 Total number of Sales Employees paid:1 Total number of Manufacturing Employees paid:1
fixing my methods so they can accept the integers of the file and use them in the calculation since all im getting at the moment are 0 values.
here is the abstract class from which all the other employees type are extending from
public abstract class Employee { public abstract double calculateWeeklyPay(); private String fName; private String lName; private int EmpId; private Position p ;
fixing an issue in the search textbox in one of the jsp's. I was informed that cross site scripting can be done in the textbox and I kept the below code in my jsp to fix the issue:
Now, after applying the above code, the cross site scripting can be done and the problem is that the search can't be done using the textbox and all the time will display none results.
I am new to Java and I am trying to use values that are set for cases in the switch operator.
The first menu ask for you to pick a product and each product has a price on it.
The second menu ask you to pick a state with each state having a decimal value on it.
The third is asking you to put the number of cases and each case is 12 items.
A key note to remember is that each part that a person is choosing is on a different instance!
Here is an example of what i am trying to do.
Menu 1: I picked case 1 that is Computer and it is worth 1000 Menu 2: I picked case 1 that is CT and it's tax is 7.5
Third choice: I picked case 1 and that has 12 items
I want the subtotal witch is: (1000 * 12)
Subtotal in this situation is: 120000
Next i need the total value which is based on what state they picked for the tax percent value picked from the state menu case: (12000 * 0.075 + 120000)
Total value is: 129000
I will post the code I have but based on the choices a person makes will determine the values and I need those values set in the cases to put in a math equation. The problem I am having is retrieving these numbers form the cases inside the menu options and they are on a different instance. So How can I do this in Java code?
Here is the code:
This is menu 1
Java Code:
import java.util.*; //scanners and more class menu{ public void display_menu() { System.out.println ("Please select your product"); //Gives user direction System.out.println ( "1)
I have following Cipher Code and test for it. But I am getting following exception.
Java Code:

What's up with this. Just trying to test my hands on java packages, and had this error(by java) after successful compilation:

I'm trying to develop a system for test cases so that whenever a test case is added to a particular package it will automatically be included in testing without having to manually add that particular test case. What is the best way to achieve this? Should I use java reflection? I'm just getting started with Jenkins and trying to configure Selenium test cases.
Looking for some simple use cases for servlet filters other than tracking requests ? I was thinking of using a filter to filter out offensive language from entered text. Would that be a good use case ?
I'm a new Java user and I'm trying to code a simple login page. In first page (NewFile.jsp) users should enter their username and password and should click on "login", or click on "sign up".
1.) If user enters his username and password correctly, a login page (LoginPage.jsp) appears and says "welcome null" but it should show the name of that user instead of null.
2.) In that login page there is an edit button to edit profile information. When I clicked on it, every information is "null" and when I edit them and click on "Submit" button;
HTTP Status 404 - type Status report message description The requested resource () is not available. GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3.1.2
that message appears.
3.) If I click on "Sign Up" button at the beginning, a registration jsp (SignUpPage.jsp) appears. After filling up text boxes and clicking on "Submit", same Status 404 screen appears.
I created a mysql database called "loginpage" using xampp. In that database there is a table called "users" and it has un, pass, name, surname, email and degree attributes.
And in the server log there is a long list of comments, the first which looks to be of significance to this issue is:

i found that jstl1.1 jar didn't have the above mentioned class.I replaced jstl1.1 with jstl1.2 jar.i verified that jstl1.2 jar had JstlCoreTLV calss.but even after this replacement of jar i am facing the same issue.
I don't get an in code error but when I run this one it crashes at the print line "failed conversion error". I've used this style format in another program and format worked ok, what doesn't it like

A University offers a course that prepares students for the county licensing exam for real estate brokers. Last year, twenty students who completed this course took the exam. The university wants to know how well its students did an exam. You have been asked to write a program to summarize the results. You have been given a list of these 20 students. Next to each is written a1 if the student passed the exam or a2 if the student failed the exam.Your program should analyze the results as follows:
i.Input each test result (i.e., a1 or a2). Display the message Enter result on the screen each time the program requests another test result. ii.Count the number of test results of each type. iii.Display a summary of the test results, indicating the number of students who passed and the number who failed. iv.If more than 15 students passed the exam, output message, Bonus to the instructor
I am attempting to test a TCP Client and Server for an assignment I am doing in class. The goal here is to "test your client and Server applications by transferring (i) a file having 10,000+ lines (see supplied big-file1.txt having 12000+ lines), (ii) a file having 20,000+ lines (you may create one of your own from big-file1.txt, or obtain a large size file from the Google website at [URL] ...). Then, compute and display the total transfer time of the files at both of the sides separately (your choice in millisecond/second)."
I have created the TCPClient and TCPServer java classes, ran the server first and then the client, and using mathematical formulas to calculate the transfer time. Trouble is, I'm having trouble testing the client and server in the file area and not the area where I had to input a line, let the server print it, and then have the client eliminate the articles from the line. I need testing the file. Here is my code so far:
TCPClient:
package tcpclient; import java.io.*; import java.net.*; public class TCPClient { public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException{ // TODO Auto-generated method stub String sentence;
[code] ....
How to fix the code so that the time in seconds does not output as 60 for both files and that the files go through the exchange?
I wrote a class for encapsulating coins and I was to do a boolean statement but when I test the statement the results are not showing.Here is the code for my coin class coins.java
package project_3; /** * * @author user a */ public class Coins { private double pennies; private double nickles ; private double dimes ; private double quarters ; private int dollars ;
how to execute a particular class. I've created a Kinematics class that will execute and calculate all the functions pertaining to kinematic equations. In the main class, I will have the user provide the data in JTextField. Now I need to test which JTextfields (variables) were left empty. I plan to use a number of if/else statements :
if(distanceI != null && distanceF != null)
The problem with this is that these variables are double and therefore cannot be tested as null. I read a few things about Double but I really don't see how I'm supposed convert each double variable to Double, is that even possible?
public class Kinematics { double distanceI, distanceF, velocityI, velocityF, velocityAverage, acceleration; public Kinematics(){ //v2 = v1 + a*dt if(distanceI != null && distanceF != null){
