I want to ask that, when a server listen to A port and it accepts a request from a client then the server accepts the request using accept method,but how does the server get the info about the client like wat is the port no and ip address of the client,I read a answer regarding this that Server never gets the port no of client only the ip address and it connects to client using a connection stream but as far I know from networking, a device must have the ip address and port no of the device it wants to connect to.
I am calling a SOAP based webservice using JAX-WS and a client jar. I want to get a request and response somehow and save it for audit purposes. How I can do this?
When I google it, only Handlers come up, but, as far as I understand, it is not applicable on client side.
I have to show more than one images on a jsp page which are frequently refreshed. I am getting images in stream from client end and i want to show them on jsp. How can show them on jsp and refresh them after getting new image from client side?
I have an applet which I want to embed into HTML. In applet viewer in Eclipse IDE the view is this(see pict01), and when I access my index.php on local server I get this view(see pict02). I don't know what I am doing wrong. I checked it with Firefox, IE and chrome. No changes. Here is source code:
import java.util.*; import java.io.*; import javax.swing.*; import java.awt.*; import java.applet.*; import java.net.URL; public class WCURL extends JApplet {
//static final int WIDTH = 8; //static final int HEIGHT = 12;
[Code] ......
I have these files in my local servers folder where I am trying to access it from(see pict03).
I am trying to display two JComboBoxes side by side. I can successfully display them as part of a BorderLayout if they are in the North and East, but when I try to display them side by side in the same area, eg North, only one of the combo boxes gets displayed.
I'm using SchedulerExecutorServices to Schedule a task. My Question is how can i schedule more than one task side by side:
Here is what I'm doing:
public class Scheduler { public Scheduler(Runnable thread, int startAfter, int iterateAfter, TimeUnit timeUnit, int length) { ScheduledExecutorService scheduler = Executors .newSingleThreadScheduledExecutor(); final ScheduledFuture<?> timeHandle = scheduler.scheduleAtFixedRate(
I have been following a 2d side scroller tutorial in java and have got the basics working, I changed the code a bit to make it so that the tiles and background are always moving, this worked as i intended.Within the character class:
if (speedX < 0) { centerX += speedX; } if (speedX == 0 || speedX < 0) { bg1.setSpeedX(0); bg2.setSpeedX(0);
[code]....
I wanted a way to make it so that if the character moves left, the tiles + background move slower. I am having issues with variable scope and setters/getters. Within the main game class, I have the code:
case KeyEvent.VK_LEFT: character.moveLeft(); character.setMovingLeft(true); break;
How can i include an if statement within the tile class that reads whether the character is moving left (determined from a keyPressed event in the main game class) and adjusts the speed of the tiles accordingly?I want to write something to the effect of:
I have some data in the database and values can be added on demand. so when ever the value added to the database i need to promt that message to all users which are accessing my website, so how can i acheive this....
I need to write server side program(Servlet) which must be access by several requests at same time.how to handle this using java? Do i need to use queue or multiple instance of same class. Any example server method which returns the results based on ID
public String getResut(int id){
1)get db connection 2)get the result from db 3) retun the result }
I am trying to align the core/middle side color of a cube, index 4, with the bottom middle color of the same side, index 7. (Each side has values 0-8 where 0 - is the top left corner, 1 is the top mid corner, 2 is the top right corner, 3 is the middle left corner, etc).
In addition to lining up those two colors, I am also making sure that the neighbor color of index 7(the color that it is attached), in this case the bottom color, matches with the top core/middle color. I will attach some pictures and a print out to show what I am talking about...
However, in my code when I am trying to align all of these up together, it does not go into the while loop. Each of the loops essentially is trying to get a match of same color with index 4 and 7, as well as making sure that index 7's neighbor color (the bottom color, in this case) matches with the top color.
Here is what I have tried:
private void alignSideColor(){//make the bottom colors neighbor match with a middle side value and rotate it to the top, for the top cross
if(cube.bottom.square[1].charAt(0) == topColor){ while(cube.front.square[7].charAt(0) != frontColor && cube.bottom.square[1].charAt(0) != topColor){ rotateBottomClockwise(1); System.out.println("Trying to align side color...");
[Code] .....
The print out of the ELSE IF is: alignment is: W-G and tops: R-R NOW ITS ALIGNED even though the sides, index 4 and 7, are NOT aligned with each other
I have also tried the same thing but with out the 2nd condition in each while loop, and although is DOES enter the while loop, it does not perform correctly -- index 4 and 7 WILL have matches colors, but it does not check to see if index 7's neighbor matches with the top color.
Here is how it prints out ** ** ** G7 B6 Y1 ** ** **//this portion is the back of the cube ** ** ** R6 W5 O4 ** ** ** ** ** ** R3 W2 O1 ** ** ** B3 G4 Y9 W9 O8 Y7 W3 B4 G9//this portion is the left, top, and right of the cube B2 G5 R8 W4 R5 Y6 O2 B5 G8 O7 W8 R9 B7 B8 B9 R1 R4 R7 ** ** ** O3 O6 O9 ** ** **//this portion is the front of the cube ** ** ** Y2 Y5 Y8 ** ** ** ** ** ** B1 G6 W7 ** ** ** ** ** ** Y3 Y4 G1 ** ** **//this portion is the bottom the cube ** ** ** R2 O5 G2 ** ** ** ** ** ** W1 W6 G3 ** ** **
Here is the cube showing the top, left and front side
Here is the left and bottom side. As you can see index 4, G5 -- yes that is a 5 lol -- does not have the same color as index 7, W8.
I need to rotate the bottom until W8 is aligned with a middle white value. An examples of a neighbor is: W8-R2
I am very much new to jsp and servlet. I want to set global error page for every exception occured at server side. I am trying with following code , but something is going wrong and I am not able to c error page.
I need to implement Oauth2 with facebook to get authencation. I tried to write a servlet with the method Service, and i got the code thah i have to use in a second request.
Now i need to send a request at this URL :
1) [URL] .....
and wait for a responce with an URL that have the access_token to use with facebook
2) [URL] ....
Is it Possible in a single Servlet after i receive the "code" to send a second request to the URL in 1 and get the response with URL in 2 to retrieve the access_token?? if yes....how??
I have tried running the java application without adding the site to site list in java security tab. But I get a sand box message as APPLICATION BLOCKED BY SECURITY SETTINGS. How to run the java application without adding the site to site list in java security tab.
I'm writing a simple application, that provides a Swing GUI to a bounded-buffer problem. The application is composed by:
- Main.java: it creates a map of four threads (four instances of the class MyThread). Also it creates a shared database (an instance of the class Database) between the four threads.
- MyThread.java: it's an extension of Thread, and it shows a Swing GUI associated to this thread. Each thread is associated a GUI.
- GUI.java
- Database.java: it's an extension of ArrayList and and it can contain a maximum of five elements. An element is an instance of the class User. Also it implements put() and extract() method consistent with the algorithm of bounded-buffer problem.
- DatabaseException.java: it's a simple message.
- User.java
public class Main { public static void main(String[] args) { Database db = new Database(); Map<String, Thread> tdg_m = new HashMap(); for (int i = 1; i <= 4; i++) { tdg_m.put("T" + i, new MyThread(db));
[Code] .....
The issue is the following. When the database is full, and i try to put an element, the GUI freezes. The same problem occurs when I try to extract an element from the empty database.
Currently we are facing a problem in application developed in JSF, Hibernate on Tomcat server 7. The UI is getting freezed after uncertain time. Sometimes it worked for 2 to 5 hours and sometimes it hangs out within 10 mins, too.
Session time out in web.xml is -1
Before, we were getting memory leak logs in catalina, so we implemented ClassLoaderLeakPreventor in the application. When problem occurs, below log is printing in catalina.out.
INFO: Reloading context [/SHRWeb241213] Jan 31, 2014 12:42:36 PM org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext reload INFO: Reloading Context with name [/SHRWeb241213] has started ClassLoaderLeakPreventor: com.cosmos.leakPrevention.ClassLoaderLeakPreventor shutting down context by removing known leaks (CL: 0x19a37a) ClassLoaderLeakPreventor: Removing 47 classes from Mojarra descriptors cache
I'm back with a question about the Black Jack assignment. I've created a working game that works for one round, as well as a reset button that's able to clear the board of the old hand. However the runGame() loop, which checks whether a player has played his hand seems to freeze the program the second time around
private void initNewGame(){ dealer.addCard(); for(int i = 0; i < numberofplayers; i++){ players[i].addCard(); //draws card, adds score and paints card to the board players[i].setStatus(false); //makes the buttons usable in the players[] class
[Code] .....
I know it's probably not optimal having an while loop constantly running to check the status, but I can't seem to figure out why it freezes.
I have been on java applets and it's been fun but I'm stucked with painting a ladybug image on applet using "getImage ( getCodeBase(), "Images/ ladybug.gif") to load the image. It runs but the appletviewer is blank. My applets are not embedded in the web. I just type the codes in eclipse and click the 'run' button.I think the problem is that java is not finding the image in the directory I specified. Please where am I supposed to save the ladybug image so that java can find it on my system whenever I supply the path.
so recently i made an applet and i was gonna put it up on my website when i got an error saying that java had blocked the applet duo to security thingys..sooo i looked in to it and i found out that apparently you need permission from java to run a applet or something like that, because there was a lot of viruses coming from there or something...
so does that mean only big game company's that can actually get permission by java make applets? are applets dead!? is there no other way to play java games in a browser!??!
I have tried each and every thing in all the other answers. Like setting chunked to false, changing parameters, changing http1.1 -1.0. I am just writing a sample client to compare it with my real time client. Following is the code of client:
package com.webservicemart.ws; import java.rmi.RemoteException; import org.apache.axis2.AxisFault; import com.webservicemart.ws.USZipStub.ValidateZip; public class UsZipClient { public static void main(String[] args) {
[Code] ....
And Following is the error :
[INFO] Unable to sendViaPost to url[http://www.webservicemart.com/uszip.asmx] org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Transport error: 404 Error: Not Found at org.apache.axis2.transport.http.HTTPSender.handleResponse(HTTPSender.java:310) at org.apache.axis2.transport.http.HTTPSender.sendViaPost(HTTPSender.java:194) at org.apache.axis2.transport.http.HTTPSender.send(HTTPSender.java:75)
[Code] ....
I have tried with other geoIP service and weather forecast too. I get the same error.
I'm trying to right a GUI in swing, and as part of my program, I want to open a secondary window out of the main window when a mouse clicks on the main window. Then, once I click a button on the secondary window, I want that window to close and submit data to the main window (like an info form). I have almost figured out how to do this, except for one problem. By putting a variable inside my form window called "ready," and then in my main window running a loop that constantly checks if ready is true and doesn't proceed until its true, I can create the form window, modify the values in it (currently just one value called "difficulty" that's modified by a jSlider), and then when i click the "begin" button, ready is changed to true, the form window closes, and the main window can proceed. However, when I try to put the while loop checking the ready variable inside a mouseClicked method in the main window, the form window freezes when it opens, and you can't see any of its content or modify it in any way (you can't even close it).
Here is my code:
//form window class import java.awt.*; import java.awt.event.*; import javax.swing.*; import javax.swing.event.*; public class formWindow extends JFrame { private JTextField instructions1;
The error I get is as follows...When the page is loaded I get the following error: java.lang.SecurityException: class "com.myPackage. test.client. TaskApplet" does not match trust level of other classes in the same package
I'm new to web services. Right now i'm trying to consume JAX-WS web service on IBM WebSphere Application Server 7. Sending SOAP message with security header[username, password] parameters. Getting NullPointerException..

For a project I have to create an online survey, I cannot use a per-made online survey system because I have really specific needs that no pre-made system can satisfy, so my idea would be to create it in java and store the data in some simple text file, which are fairly easy to work with in java. My question is, is it possible, and if yes how difficult is it, to put the entire thing online? What worries me isn't putting the applet itself online, but the text files that should collect the data, I already have the website to host it.
