EJB / EE :: How To Use Java Codes To Send Email With Word Attachments
Aug 9, 2014
I have a request to create a java scheduled job to send email with attachment of word document every week. any example codes I can use. This is my first time to code this request, I do not what is the standard way to do it.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: smtp.gmail.com, port: 587; nested exception is: java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect at com.readAlerts.SendEmailUsingGMailSMTP.main(SendEmailUsingGMailSMTP.java:63) Caused by: javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: smtp.gmail.com, port: 587; nested exception is:

Tried every permutation and combination but all leading to this same error.
I need to write a java application which can download attachments from lotus notes. I have a mailbox configured which gets only attachment based mails.
I have a code which is like this ...
import lotus.domino.*; public class NotesJavaShell extends AgentBase{ // Public fields. // Local vars private Session session;
[code]....
As I said i have a mail box configured.. What should I place in config_server, log_server, source_server?
I am getting an error as : Notes error code 4000. Could not open configuration database
I have to write the Insertion Sort Algorithm using Java codes and at the same time find the time of execution for different sizes of array, filled with random numbers. If I try to show the numbers inserted into the array randomly, they don't appear at the console.
import javax.swing.JOptionPane; public class Insertion { public static void main(String[]args){ int SizeArr = new Integer(JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter the size of teh array")).intValue(); int [] r= new int [SizeArr]; {for(int d=0; d<r.length; d++)
I am looking for java codes to generate a word document based on a word template, basically, I have a word template created and in my local path, the template has a proper format with some fields which will be filled in after java codes ran. The java codes will fetch one record from a table, and open the word template and then fill the fields in the word template, and created a new word document and save it in another folder.
I found this example: [URL] which is similar except it uses xml template instead of word template, how to make it work to change the template from xml to word (docx) template?
URL....So the problem is that when I type in "PA" it will display about 24 Zips and Populations before it stops. The problem is in the ZIPs file. It goes down the list and then takes the Zip from the Zips file to the Zips in the Population file and displays the Population. It will go to population 513 and stop. Reason being, there is no ZIP code in the Population file to display a population. The loop then stops. How can I get the program to skip over the zip code when there is no corresponding ZIP code in the other file and continue showing the other Pops..Here's what I currently have completed:
import java.io.File; import java.io.FileNotFoundException; import java.util.Scanner; public class Population { //Declaring global variables. Scanner fileScannerZip, fileScannerPop, inputFile; private String lineZip, linePop; int invalidZip;
I want to validate an email input. The email input can only have one @ and at least one '.' after the @. I would like to ask if my regex pattern is correct.
YOUR CODE HERE import java.util.InputMismatchException; import java.util.Scanner; public class email { public static void main(String []args) {
i found a code to get emails from gmail in this forum.It's working very well, now i want to delete a specific sender email address.
So i can have the sender email with this:
Java Code: String senderAddress = aMessage.getFrom()[0].toString(); System.out.println(" From: " + senderAddress); mh_sh_highlight_all('java'); Now i want to do something like Java Code: If (senderAddress = "test@gmail.com"){ message.setFlag(Flags.Flag.DELETED, true); } mh_sh_highlight_all('java');
I need to check the existence of email accounts before sending them mails to avoid going to a blacklist for sending to non real accounts.
I was thinking on (SSL)Sockets and smtp commands but I cant get it to work properly I am shooting in the dark here...
I have a JAVA application that sends mail to the people that buy certain things but the information quality is bad, so I must check if the mail exists before sending the mail....
I have saved emails that are stored in to text files and I want to retrieve the Sender, Reciever, Subject and the Email Content.I am using From: as a delimiter and To: as a delimiter and Subject as a delimiter and I am not sure what delimiter I should set for the email content.Also, there can be emails that will have comments after the message content and I plan on using the delimiter Comments:.
Any example of what delimiters I should use it would be great. Also I would like to know how check whether or not a delimiter exists so that I can print out the comments if it exists and if the file does not have comments, it prints out nothing.
I will be developing a change and would like to know how can i parse a mail header in OBPM using java.
I want to get the message id, date and time the email recieved and email size.
Our code is already fetching the attachment of the email using the following syntax.
mailAttachments = mail.attachments;
I tried creating a variable like mailHeaders = mail.headers, would you know how can i get the details i want by parsing the variable? so far I wasn't able to check what mail.headers return as i'm currently having issues running our code locally due to DB connections.
I am reading mail by using pop3 in java mail. In outlook I found we can leave the copy of mail in server side after reading. Shall we do that process in java mail ?
Currently my java program is reading emails along with attachments from the mailing server. It works fine as long as the email and the attachments are "not" encrypted.
The problem comes when the email and/or the attachment are encrypted.
I need to extend my application so that it should be able to handle encrypted emails and attachments as well.
I did some research and found out that for decrypting the contents i need the private key of the recipient email id and the digital signature of the sender?
If my above understanding is correct, some reference java examples / snippets where i get some insight into the java api used to perform this?
I am using JSP as a front-end view purpose,From this page I have to push the data to one of the Action Request System form (AR System 6.3). I am using ARS JAVA API.As per requirement I have to upload one file from user on JSP and have to push it to this back-end form.I tried JavaZooms javazoom. upload class but its giving me a error and I couldn''t fine this class file anywhere. So this code didn''t work finally.
I have built a binary tree, from a file. In each node, I am storing each word as a string, and an int frequency for each time the word occurs. For the assignment, I need to find how many words occur only once in the file. I wrote the program, but for some reason I am getting a number different from what my professor is expecting.
As far as I know, this file has loaded into the tree correctly, because all of my other answers in the assignment are correct. What am I doing wrong?
public void findUnique() { System.out.println("There are " + findUniqueWords(root, 0) + " unique words."); } private int findUniqueWords(Node subTree, int uniqueCount) { // Base Case: At the end of the branch if(subTree == null){ return uniqueCount;
I am creating 2 different java codes for encryption and decryption separately based on RSA algorithm. The codes also involve swings for GUI. The problem with these codes are that my string is getting encrypted but after decrypting it,i do not get the string rather i get string of random numbers and alphabets. I am posting both the codes.
Encryption code:
import java.math.BigInteger; import java.util.Random; import java.io.*; import javax.swing.*; import java.awt.*; import java.awt.event.*; public class cipher implements ActionListener
[Code] ....
Now the decryption code
import java.math.BigInteger; import java.util.Random; import java.io.*; import javax.swing.*; import java.awt.*; import java.awt.event.*; public class decipher implements ActionListener
[Code] ....
The screenshots for respective codes are as attachments ....
I used the PLPDF software to generate a blob in PDF format in PL/SQL. I can open it in a browser but I would rather send it directly to a printer from PL/SQL.
I know I can use tools like BI and Jasper but I want this particular solution to be 100% database solution.
I was wondering of I can use JAVA in Oracle to send the blob to a printer.
The intentions of this program is to prompt a user to enter a file name, and then reads the file. The program will prompt the user to enter a word that needs to be corrected. So lets say I have a text file containing "My name is OP and I Like goind to the Park!" I want to change "goind" to "going",
Now, my second method "isSimilar" executes a similar word with more than one same letter and same length, but I dont know how to execute that whole thing in my third method "correctThisLine" . How I can call that isSimilar method and read in that text file and change that word into that?
import java.util.*; import java.io.File; import java.io.FileNotFoundException; import java.util.Scanner; public class WahidMuhammadA3Q2{ String fileName = "AutoCorrectMe.txt"; public static void main (String [] args){
In this code, I have to do a series of tasks to change a String using specialized codes that are inputted. The one that I am having trouble with is as follows:
MC-SLXD: Circulates the sub-string in position S with a length of L, rotate the string X characters over in the direction of D. All the arguments (S,L,X and D will be one character in length. The direction will be either L or R for Left or Right.Example: MC-332R/COMPUTER = COPUMTER.
