JSF :: Enable / Disable SelectManyCheckbox Based On Radio Button Using Ajax
Feb 23, 2015I'd like to disable/enable SelectManyCheckbox and the SelectOneMenu based on my selection. I have two radio buttons to be selected whether A or B. The SelectManyCheckbox and the SelectOneMenu should be disabled at the first run. When the user selects “A” the SelectManyCheckbox and the SelectOneMenu should be enabled and if the users selects “B”, the SelectManyCheckbox and the SelectOneMenu should be disabled and the items should be empty. I tried to use <f:ajax render="certificates"/>, but it doesn't work properly.

Apr 10, 2014I am using Java Swing to create a GUI. I have some radio buttons on a JFrame that gets opened when the user makes a certain selection. I want to read a config file to have the radio buttons selected or deselected when the form is opened to indicate the current state of the radio button based on the saved config file.
How do I go about setting the radio button as selected (visibly selected) when I open up the JFrame?
I was trying to use RadioButton.setSelected(True); but this doesn't actually visibly select the radio button.
Creating A Dialog That Add TextField Dynamically Based On A Radio Button
Dec 12, 2014What would be the simplest way of creating a Dialog that can add TextField dynamically based on whether a radio button option from the dialog box is selected. I thought of JOptionPane.showMessageDialog and adding a JComponent though I would not be able to add a TextField on the fly and I would not be able to add ActionListeners. The dialog would initially contain some radio buttons, labels and textfields.

Aug 18, 2014I'm working on a GUI application, I'm building it based on an example of a image provided and I am having an issue with my radio boxes, well the easiest way to explain will be if you look at the too attached images , the example im working from has the radio-boxes transparent they are the same color as the background image, my radio boxes seem to sit ontop of the background image with their default grey border, How can i make my radioboxes blend into the background like in the given example?
Im using Netbeans GUI toolkip to build this app, for the background image in the jpanel i just created a label and set the icon to the image i wanted.

Well - i have GUI, that have JComboBox with two elements:

Below i have normal button (named Update) with "update" set as ActionCommand. This button after clicked should check which value from list is selected and perform different operations for that elements. But it's harder than i thought.
Code for update button:

The problem is - i don't know hot to code Update button to check which value from fedora_list (JComboBox) is selected and perform other actions for every element on List.

Jun 6, 2014Is it possible to enable & disable "jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms" property programmatically. I want to remove all disabled Algorithms for some time and later I will enable it.
Or is it possible to enable only for a particular place & not in a JVM level. I want that Algorithm need to be enabled for a piece of code, but I don't want it to the remaining part of the application.
