My problem now is how would I execute the class in bin directory in UNIX? I already tried different ways on how to execute it as suggested in my internet research The one I tried is this:

I have a requirement where I have to send a file from a local system to unix box(present on client side) using java code.I have developed a code that is successfully sending the file from local system to client side unix box (I am connecting to client side unix box using VPN) provided I run the code in my eclipse IDE present in local system. I am new to Java Stored Procedures. There is a PL/SQL package in our legacy application(Oracle 9i) which pulls data from Oracle 8i source database through a DB link. Now we have upgraded our databas to Oracle 11g R2 from 9i. So the DB lint to Oracle 8i will no longer work in 11g. Hence I have created a Java stored procedure that establishes JDBC thin connection to the source 8i database. I have loaded the java stored procedure in the database using loadjava and have created a call specifaction.
I have called this java stored procedure inside the PL/SQL package. Now while executing the PL/SQL package, it takes the default driver ojdbc6.jar to establish JDBC connection and fails to connect to the 8i database giving ArrayIndexOutOfBounds Exception. While running the code in the linux application server with classes12.jar the code succeeds. But when the same is called in the database it fails.
1. How can I make my PL/SQL call use classes12.jar while calling the Java Stored Procedure?
2. How can I load the jar file(which includes my classes and the classes12.jar) into the datase as one object? (When I tried to load the whole jar, in database the classes and dependent jar loaded separately)
3. Is there a way to use classpath while calling the Java Stored Procedure like how we do from Unix?
I need to generate a file in Java with Unix TimeStamp. Want to generate an ordered list of Data entry objects for a defined period of time e.g., getData (long startTimeStamp, endTimeStamp, long resolution).
1) I would like to generate resolution with random numbers by using Random class.
2) How to take Start and end timestamps to generate a file (i.e., writing into a file).
I have a unix program that simulates an accident evolving as a function of time and produces two files. I will focus on the first file before getting to the second. This first file has five output variables/vectors (velocity vs time, pressure vs time, etc), which are selected as part of the simulation input. These are the variables I have to put into Excel if I want to view the transient graphically. Where it gets tedious is that, if I want to view a different set of five variables, I have to rerun, extract, put these in Excel to plot. There can be lots of variables needed to properly characterize the accident.
The second file produced is a really large binary file. This file contains all the information that I'd need, precluding the need to rerun to view a different set of output variables. This is the file that seems tailor-made for a Java or something to be able to extract the information. That is, it seems like Java could be used to do this work: extract variable information from the large binary file. Eventually, I would like to plot it too and I know I could use Java there.
I think my steps are:
1) understand the format of my binary file
2) reconfigure the binary file for use with java (is this demuxing?)
3) learn java programming for this application: extracting information to produce something like a .csv file with time on the leftmost column and variable information populating the rest of the columns.

I am operating java from the command line (using Terminal on Mac OSX 10.9.5).The current directory within Terminal is called "orange" and the following sourcecode file is in the orange directory :

When I am trying to run an applet in command prompt I am getting an error message saying: System cannot find the file specified.
Initially I compiled my applet using javac BubbleSort1.java it works fine But when I tried running this using: appletviewer BubbleSort1.html I m getting the above error. Anyhow, both the html file n the java file are in same folder in C drive. (windows 7) .....
When I try to run my runnable jar file, it wont do anything. And when I try to run it from the console, it says

How do I fix this?

I have put error.jsp and badpage.jsp file in public access folder that is web content in eclipsewhen I am running the code I am status code of 500 and not the errorpage.jsp message .

the system I am using is blue jay and java. my problem is that I have this error message pop up whenever I try to compile any of my 6 classes. Three of the classes are cities, 3 others are shops, and the final one is a inventory called Player. The following is the error code that appears when I try to compile class THshopB or class CityB.

However, I'm trying to get other programs to open. Specifically, this program: C:Octave3.2.4_gcc-4.4.0inoctave-3.2.4.exe...However, using that in place of notepad doesn't work. I'm assuming that there is some sort of system variable that explains why simply typing "notepad" works? As if you type notepad into the run box, notepad will open. Soo does that snippet work by going through some sort of system variables?How would I go about opening other programs, such as the one I referenced above.
