Iam getting this error at run time while using this command "java mypack.Accountbalance". I have compiled this source code and got its class file that I have put in mypack package but now its showing this error ..
Here's the code : package mypack; class Balance { String name; double bal; Balance(String n ,double b)
[Code] .....
Error: exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: mypack/Ba at mypack.Accountbalance.main(Accountbalance.java:25) used by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: mypack.Balance
I am working on a magic square program. My program compiles. However, when I enter the square dimension it does not select the correct file. The error says "java.io.FileNotFoundException." It looks like it inserts 0 instead of the entered dimension.

I have a JSP page that calls a Java method .. using GlassFish 4.0 it worked just fine, now I'm trying to run it on a new server with Tomcat 6.0 but it keeps giving me this error: "the function result must be used with a prefix when a default namespace is not specified"
I don't really understand the question is the thing. Its about calling a file in the java program. I read the book and i can see how to call a file from a directory and how to save it and edit it but I don't understand what the instructor is asking for. Mostly what files need called and println.
Assuming the object that manages output will be called writer, write a statement that opens a text file called home.html for output by println statements.
To be file-writable and file-readable, an object must be an instance of a class that implements___________.
Write a statemnt that opens a file for input of objects and assigns a reference to the connection to ObjectIn. Assume the file is in the current directory, with the name automobiles. data.
I am trying to make a jar file in intelliJ. My directory that holds all the java classes is C:rafficProjectsrccege. In cege there is a package ui where there is a class GuiMain. And I have imported the GuiMain() in my Main() class.
I have this code lines:
package cege; import cege.ui.GuiMain;
and when I use the terminal in the intelliJ and write the command:
C: rafficProjectsrccege>javac *.java
I get this message:
Main.java:3: error: package cege.ui does not exist
import cege.ui.GuiMain;
but actually, I have already put this line in my code. what could be the problem?

I am trying to use hidden variable in project.When I launch my project i am able to get the welcome page.But when submit login values i am getting HTTP 404 error- Resource not found error.
So I built this comparator exactly the same way I built my others that are working.But the comparator for UserComparator is not being found for some reason.I will post my usercomparator class and JSP page.
My working directory is e:ajava. in package p1 i create two classes c1 and c2. net beans creates three files e:ajavap1srcp1, e:ajavap1srcc1, e:ajavap1srcc2. package runs without a hitch. i create another package p2 under e:ajava. i want to use class c1 in p2. pray what on earth should be my import statement in the p2 source code after the first statement 'package p2'. another related querry what should i include in my class path so as to gain access to c1 and c2 in source code of p2.
i have a program in UNIX directory /home/me/java/src
package bin; public class HelloWorld { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Hello World"); } }
I have manage to compile it successfully(class file will be in bin directory) using command below: javac -d /home/t_bmf/java/bin HelloWorld.java
My problem now is how would I execute the class in bin directory in UNIX? I already tried different ways on how to execute it as suggested in my internet research The one I tried is this:
java $CLASSPATH:.:bin/HelloWorld but I got this error message: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: :/:bin/HelloWorld Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: :.:bin.HelloWorld
I am assigned to create a program "Simpletron" that the only language understands it is Simpletron Machine Language or SML. I figured out the most but I get the message "No main methods, applets, or MIDlets found in file" when compiling the program. I pasted my program so that you can see.
I am creating a body mass index calculator and i was wondering how i could make its so that the program resets itself once the BMI has been found....
My code is below...
package bmiCalculatorSource; import java.util.Scanner; public class BMICalculator { public static void main(String[] args) { final double KilogramsPerPound = 0.453; final double MetersPerInch = 0.026;
Basically I'm trying to code this program but I keep getting error can't be applied to given types. I know it has to do with my method trying to be called by an array, but I'm just kinda lost.
Write a program that prompts the user to input cash amounts and use a method to calculate the average amount for a week given 7 inputs of daily cash intake amounts for a cash register. Use an array to store the values. Recall that average is the sum of the values divided by the number of values. The method should take argument(s) of type double and return average weekly cash amount as a double.
Make sure you test your program using the test data given below and calls the averageCash() method defined above passing in the values. Verify that the input values are greater than or equal to 0. Negative numbers are not allowed. Output the values used and the averageCash value.
import java.util.*; public class ArrayHandout { public static void main(String args[]) { int[] a=new int[6]; Scanner sc=new Scanner(System.in);
I have a problem with multi threading calling with for loop. I have those two and many other classes in one jar file but n 2 different packages.
When i execute the jar file first runs the Aclass, from where i try to run multi threads. From the run() of the class RunTheGame i call many other classes which are in the same package. Like you can see from the for loop is executed the threads.
The problem is that when the second thread starts the first one is stopped this happens for all the threads, more simply when a new thread starts the old one is dead.
It seems that liken the threads uses the classes called from run() of the class RunTheGame as non multi threaded. It gives this error:
Java Code:
Exception in thread "Thread-0" java.lang.NullPointerException at thePackage2.EClass.getWhiteRemaining(EClass.java:49) at thePackage2.EClass.isFinal(DClass.java:84) at thePackage2.Spiel.<init>(Cclass.java:76) at thePackage2.RunTheGame.run(RunTheGame.java:198) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745) mh_sh_highlight_all('java');
All the above refereed classes are called from the from run() of the class RunTheGame . Like i understand all the threads use those classes as non thread autonomous classes.
Java Code:
public class Aclass { private static Thread t[]; public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException { for (int Game = 0; Game< 10; Game++) { t[Game] = new Thread(new thePackage2.RunTheGame(aplayer, bplayer, Name, ID , Pmach)); t[Game].start();
I'm trying to call the grade.processFile method from the main method but I'm getting this Error below. I'll post my code which includes the main method and the class underneath the error message:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.jav a:130) at java.util.Scanner.<init>(Scanner.java:611) at MyGrades.processFile(MyGrades.java:49) at myGradesMain.main(myGradesMain.java:19) import java.util.Scanner; import java.io.*;
I have a class that works only when in the default package. If I move the class to a package I receive UnsatisfiedLinkError.
This is the class in the default package(this works fine):
[code] public class CsharpConsumer { private native int reigsterAssemblyHandler(String str); public CsharpConsumer() { String dir = System.getProperty("user.dir"); System.load(dir+"dllscardJNICsharpBridge.dll"); int reigsterAssemblyHandler = reigsterAssemblyHandler(dir+"dllscard"); } } [/code]
If at the top of this class I add "package DLLUtils;"
the error is "Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError:
I just wanted to ask that when we invoke a function by passing certain arguments in it ,so for instance I have certain variables like a,b and c with some values assigned to them,so when I invoke a function like func(a*b , 8, c+a) where the function func accepts parameters like func(int x,int y,int z) ,so is there any order of evaluation of expressions defined like the value of c+d would be evaluated first and then assigned to variable z ,because in C we have sequence points and since comma when acting like a separator is not a sequence point so any of the expression can be executed first ,so basically is there any sequence in which the function arguments are assigned to the parameters of the function or any relation with the stack implementation.
Even in C ,the printf starts executing its expressions from right to left so basically in why does it happen there when comma is a separator in a function argument.
import java.util.Scanner; public class Arraykey { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Enter array size: "); Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in); int size = input.nextInt(); int [] a = new int[size]; for(int i=0 ; i<size ; i++){
