Program To Scrape All Title Tags From Large Sites
Apr 9, 2015I am familiar with php, but I don't know Java. We need a program, that will be able to scrape large amount of title tags from large sites, fast. I've been trying Seo Spider by Screaming Frog, and Xenu's Link Sleuth, but these programs are not good enough. They hang up, they save all the data in RAM, I think, and after a relatively short period of scraping, they stop working, become unresponsive, and so on.
Somebody recommended me getting a custom made program in Java, which would be able to scrape title tags only, from large sites (I am talking 25 - 50 million pages or more). I was told that it would not have a graphic interface, or anything like that. Nothing like this is needed too, we just need to have title tags.
Program Prompt For Input File / Take Its Info And Write To Report - Nullpointer Exception
Apr 17, 2014I've got a nasty nullpointer that I have tried to resolve to no avail as of yet. The program should prompt for a listings.txt file and take its info and write to a report file. Here's the stacktrace:

How To Retrieve Information From Poker Sites
Apr 20, 2015I am pretty new to java and where I should start. What I am trying to do, is to retrieve live information from poker sites as I play, typically my hand and the pot size. Is this possible? I know poker sites probably are very secure, but I can see those things (my hand, and the pot) anyway, I just want it to happen automatically. What I am trying to do, is to create a program that retrieves the information, and then calculate the odds of me winning.

He asks me the web application has to work like Banks site... means if I refresh or click on Back button(Browser's) then it has to throw the user out of session, I checked lot in internet. But I found like only disabling back button of disabling F5 keys like that. But he’s not accepting that.
How to approach for this? Can we throw the user out of session when he clicks on browser back button or refresh button. I think its possible . But i don't know how to implement.

Apr 6, 2014I want to ask that, when a server listen to A port and it accepts a request from a client then the server accepts the request using accept method,but how does the server get the info about the client like wat is the port no and ip address of the client,I read a answer regarding this that Server never gets the port no of client only the ip address and it connects to client using a connection stream but as far I know from networking, a device must have the ip address and port no of the device it wants to connect to.

Apr 28, 2014I am trying to invoke some methods in a for loop in order to print some info stored in a List. But for some reason, compiler pops a message saying "cannot find symbol - method getEmpID(). You are using a symbol here (a name for a variable, method or class) that has not been declared in any visible scope." But I am pretty sure that method getEmpID (as also getName(), getAfm(), and payment() ) have been declared as public.
Note: My List contains objects of different type (SalariedEmployee, HourlyEmployee). I hope this is not the factor causing this problem.

How To Make Print Employee Button To Print Info Of Other Class
Apr 12, 2014Basically the class is supposed to have a static variable that keeps track of the number of companies (numberOfCompanies) that have been created and a static method that returns the value of this variable. I need to have a constructor and a method to addEmployee, a method to printCompany, and a toString method. The addEmployee method will check that there is only 1 salesperson, 2 designers, and 4 manufacturing persons at a time and will check that there are no more than 7 employees of the company.
The addEmployee method will return a String indicating what the error is (i.e. "There is already a sales person in this company") or a null if the employee was added. If attempting to name a third company, an error message will be shown. what i have so far but my print company mmethod returns null company class :in which i am obliged to use inputdialog because it says that it cannot return void when i use the showmeassage diaolog.

Let say:
I'm working in a GUI program that ask form the user to enter two number's. When the user press at the calculate button. It will show up the output. However, the program won't exit unless the user press at red (X).

How To Add Images To Program
Dec 14, 2014I just finished a tutorial on youtube that covers the basic java, and now i want to try and make a game / program thing, only problem is that i have never worked with graphics before (i have tried to make ovals, rectangles, and other things with the paint method tho )
I know how to make a jframe and a jpanel, and i feel like i can make a simple "game" (not a complicated one, just a simple one with a guy walking around on the screen) in fact i have already make a such game, where you are a oval walking around on the screen, so thats not really my problem.
My problem is that i want to draw an image on the screen that can walk around instead of the oval, but how to do that. I have made a new project and set up the jframe and jpanel, and my code looks like this:
