Identity Program - Check If Randomly Generated Number Match Index

I have this program where I'm supposed to fill an array with 1000 indices with 1000 randomly generated numbers between 1 and 1000. The program is supposed to check if any of the numbers match an index that is the same value (so for example, the number 4 is in index 4). How to check for that condition, especially using a binary search (I'm also told to use a binary search).
Right now the variable index isn't initialized because I don't know what to initialize it to exactly. How do I check to see if any numbers match the value of the same index?

I am getting a strange error and it almost seems like its not comparing it to the random generated number just the guess that i entered before. Here are my error messages.

i did some research and the "[" is for arrays, "I" is for the int and "@" is the hash. and the rest is some sort of hex. I need to override this in a way, but i can't seem to find out how. this is my current code:

For some reason, when I test out my code, my randomly generated numbers don't appear. Here is a sample result:

Is this because my code is not passing my parameters correctly? I'm not sure how to fix this either.

I am working on a class that sorts and matches items in a collection of arrays. In the end, elements common to all 3 arrays should be printed. The idea is that as the first array is compared to the second it stores the matched items in tempArray. When all items are compared the tempArray should overwrite the checked array, and the process continues until all arrays are checked. I have set all the checking in a do loop that should run while the value is <= to the array length. This allows all items in the reference array to be checked. I get an index out of bounds message but not where I would expect it. I have tried varying the condition in the do while loop in the match method, but it did not change the result. There may be other issues I have not addressed with solving the algorithm, but this one has me stumped and I am not able to progress.

How could I check if an index is exist in an array list? I mean, I should enter an integer and it should return me a boolean result that saying whether if that entered value is an index or not.
I got a phone number problem. I get a list of phone numbers and a word file containing words, how could I need to see if I could match the phone number to 7 letter words, then see if I can match the first 3 numbers to 3 letter words and then the last 4 numbers to 4 number words. I'm trying to generate a random word from the array that I have made including the words by making it corresponding with a randomly generated number. So for example, if the number generated is 0, then the word that the person has to guess would be "AUNT". I'm trying to come up with a method that would validate each turn a player makes. For a turn to be valid, it has to only contain numbers from 0 to 3(inclusive) and at least one digit must not be 0. Here is what I`ve come up with so far. For example, with "303" as the number and "101" as the turn, the turn would be valid and my method should return true, but it does not.

Faster algorithm.... I want to know whether a number n1 is divided by n2 without remainder. I know I can simply write if (n1 % n2 == 0) ... But it's not fast enough.
Currently I use:
double div = (double) n1 / (double) n2; If (div == (int) div){ ... }
This is faster than the mod operator. I just look forward to any micro optimizations or such.
What program needs to find is the most biggest number. It does the job, but another task of the program is to find the index of that number . The second loop should do just that, but for some reason, as the loop goes further, it passes through the if statement even though answer "a[i]" is not equal to "answer". The idea is that if a[i] and answer are equal, the "i" should represent the index number.
I'm making a program with several functions for an array of integers, one being to find the last occurrence of a given integer and returning it. The problem is that the method is returning -1 for every input, even though it's only supposed to do so for numbers not in the array. As you can see, I'm testing 8(which should give a 6) and 2(which should give -1 because it's not in the array), and 4(which should give 4). The print statements all say -1.

I'm studying about arrays and I have some questions:
First, is there any difference between these two?

Second, more important question. If I want to make an int variable that refers to the index number of an array, how do I write? For example if we have

And I want to have a variable "int n" that refers to an index number, so that if I set n = 5 then string[5] is selected. Note that the int n is NOT an array, but just a regular integer variable. How can I do that?
In my account driver I am trying to get the user inputted account number to get the account by account number. In my code
