JSF :: Data Table Displaying Same Item Multiple Times

I currently have a datatable on the bookingList.xhtml which is supposed to list all bookings made, if first booking petName is spot it displays the booking details perfect but if another booking is made (for example one with petName fluffy) then it displays 2 lines with fluffys details and spots details are not displayed, it carries on that if a third booking is made then the 3rd bookings details are displayed 3 times and neither spot or fluffys booking details are displayed,

I managed to retrieve data, and set data in my own ways in which I like. But my problem is, if the file does not contain anything (fully empty), when I try to use my
set("", "");
method, it only sets the last one that is called.
Example:
set("section1", "section1Item");
set("section2", "section2Item");
set("section3", "section3Item");
Only section3 would get set, and not the others.
Otherwise, if the file contained a section already, then each section (section1, section2, section3) would get set.
Here's how I set the data to the file:

String beforeItem = section + ":" + files.dataList.get(section);

I have an array list in my GUI class of an aplication , the app reads in 3 fields from the user and saves these to an array list allowing the user to enter more fields to be added to the arraylist, when displaying back out to the user the same entry displays multiple times, for example if i entered , a,b,1 then c,d,2 and then e,f,3 into the app when i press my display button it would just throw back e,f,3 three times rater than the three different entries...

I'm trying to make a calendar that, when you click on the date, the result are stored in a map and visualized in a table that refers to a container.
I successfully created the map mechanism, but I have a problem on the list....
I add the rows in this way:

How can I delete a row in the list, when all I have in input is the "Timestamp" information, in a Long value?

I have made a basic math game that asks you questions and tells you if you have answered them correctly or incorrectly. The game runs great! The thing is that it asks you a question one time and after you answer you have to run the program again. I want to get the program to ask ten questions. After that I want to figure out a scoring system for it but the first step is to get it to ask my ten questions. Here is my code.

I'm working on a problem that requires me to generator all possible word combinations based on a 7-digit number as input. Many of the generated "words" will be nonsense, but some with be "NEWCARS", "TAKEOUT", etc... This problem mimics the phone number a company would use to support clients remember that number.
I completed the exercise, but I would like to explore more elegant solutions. Specifically, I've used an IF-THEN-ELSE condition inside of a FOR loop. Here is my working code:

I receive StringIndexOutOfBoundsException exceptions. I it's because multiple conditions are matched. For example, the indexSix is reset to 0 when row is a multiple of 9. Because row is also a multiple of 3, this condition also executes and then increments "indexSix".

I am trying below challenge to display first three characters three times if the size of the string is greater than 3.

This method must return a result of type String
Possible problem: the if-statement structure may theoretically allow a run to reach the end of the method without calling return. Consider adding a last line in the method return some_value; so a value is always returned.

I am trying to execute the following method: This method takes a delivery date as one of the arguments and a list of calendar holidays as another argument. If the delivery date is present in the holiday list, I will add 1 day more to the delivery date and check again if the new delivery date is part of holiday list.
Issue is that the last 3 statements before 'return' are getting executed multiple times though there is no for or while loop. Why they are getting invoked multiple times.

I am developing a java swing application. In which i want to set a different text to a label in same program ( in single JFrame). I dont want to use another JFrame instead i want to use setText method of java and set different text to a label at different intervals of time according to my need.
I am using java 1.7 sdk and pupy linux as OS. Below i am giving source code.
What i am doing is in constructor of class i am setting an image to JFrame and setting text "Welcom...". And when user clicks on this JFrame a method is called which will clear the text "Welcome.." and sets new text to another label "Enter...." and from there another method is called and it clears label "Enter..." and sets a text "Plzz wait..". and yet there are more methods, i havnt provided here.
But what is happening is it shows welcome text and then directly Plzz wait..
Its not showing text Enter... because control is finished after last method gets executed.
My concern is i want to show all the setText (my messages) in a sequence. Without using another JFrame. There is no any user input other than user will click on first welcome page.

I have the following listener on a tableset of names:

The println shows that getValueIsAdjusting is called 4 times when I click a single selection from the list. Is this normal behavior? If so how do I determine which call to really use. If not, where can I look to see why it is being called 4 times on a single click?

So I am calling this method several times and trying to write multiple records to a file. Problem is that every time I call the method it overwrites the file from before and doesn't add it.

Is there a way to inform the Entity Manager or force the JPA provider to reload data from the database? The scenario could be data being updated by a store procedure or direct SQLPlus maintenance, without restarting the Application Server, the JPA need to load the newly updated data from the database.
I think the current JPA API is not enough. The void refresh(java.lang.Object entity) from EntityManager need to pass in the Entity object, I will like to know how to refresh the entire JPA Entity data after the physical table data being update from backend.

I have a program which consist of several classes. The program reads a pom file and parses the data and then writes the data to a static table. The issue I'm having is with writing my LIB file data to my table. In the HtmlDataTable Class Im trying to write the files that are read in the lib directory to the table. My table currently consist of 3 columns (missing jar files,Lib Directory files, and POM file data) currently Im only able to write the missing jar files data to my table. In the HtmlDataTable class there is a for statement where I write the missing jar file data to my table. Im also trying to write the contents of the Lib directory within this statement as well. This is where I'm having my issue. My other classes consist of a SAX parser which parses the xml file, a class that creates my static table and a class that compares the jar files in my lib directory to the jar files in my pom file. . Theres a lot of code so I included the parts I felt were useful. If needed I can include the other classes as well.

I developed a simple java gui . On running a frame opens with 5 buttons and each button opens another frame when selected. There are no errors and frames open and close as required however i see that only the main program frame has the icon and title that i assigned and the frames bieng called through the buttons have the default frame with java icon and no title although it's been specified in the code of these called frames. When these called frames are executed individually though the program the title and icon are displayed.

A graph consists of vertices and edges that connect vertices. Write a program that reads a graph from a file and displays it on a panel. Analysis:
A graph is a mathematical structure with vertices and edges that connect the vertices. A graph is a very useful tool for modeling real-world problems. This project is to display the graph. The format of each subsequent line is u x y v1, v2, ..., which describes vertex u at location (x, y) and u is connected to vertices v1, v2, etc.
Design:
The program should first read the information about the graph from a file. The program prompts the user to enter the file name and read vertices location information into a two-dimensional array named position, where (position[0][0], position[0][1]) is the x- and y-coordinates for vertex 0. For example, in the sample graph, (position[0][0], position[0][1]) is (30, 30). The program reads the edge information into an array of ArrayList named edge (ArrayList is covered in Chapter 11). I am using netbeans swing to do my little project . I have one table which is populated by data from a database. I also have another table which should be populated when a user selects a certain row in the first table.Both table have only one column. The logic is when a user selects on row 1,the data in that row should be obtained and should be used to search for certain entities in the database which are returned and used to populate table 2.So after a user selects row1 and decides to select row2 the second table should be updated accordingly.
