I am making rows and columns in the form of a multiplication table, listed below is my code:
package assignments; public class MultTable { public static void main (String [] args) { int row, column, x, y; for(row = 0; row < 8; row++)
[Code] .....
If you see my sample run you can see that I have the multiplication table down but, I haven't completed it. I have to make the bottom left half of the whole table blank somehow. For example, I have to make it halfway through the middle of the table the bottom left half full of white space...
5 6 7 8 9 12 14 16 18 21 24 27 32 36 90
hm, it's supposed to be the other way around horizontally.
I have a database table containing two columns A and B. They both contain integers. I'd like to know if it's possible, when displaying them in a JTable, to be combined in one column X. I still need, however, to be able to distinguish them from each other when selecting a row from the JTable. E.g. to store each of the values in a a separate variable. Maybe I can combine them when reading from the ResultSet and use some sort of delimiter ? But how?
I've written two programs. My first program compares the difference of two text files and prints the differences in an output. My second program creates a simple Html table. I would like to write my output to this table. How would I go about doing this in java?
I'm new in JSF, so maybe this is a very simple problem: My small application actually uses 'primefaces ' and I'd like to display the course of some laboratory values this way:
I have an application that displays a GUI and this GUI displays a table with several columns and rows. I have a class that extends DefaultTableModel. I wrote the code that displays the GUI. When the database table changes, how would I updated the GUI dynamically? Do you have any sample code that does that?
I am trying to put together a small application in my spare time. Nothing major, but one thing I want it to do is accept a few inputs, and take those and add them to a table with columns for use later (printing, calculations, etc). I was originally looking at something like Jtable, but that looks just like an excel spreadsheet done Java, so not what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for something that's read-only, where I can insert data from input fields, and then perform calculations with the column data later.
1- Take information from distinct columns from two different tables - OK 2- Insert this information into a new table.
I have created a ArrayList and inserted all the information that I need but now I am trying to put this ArrayList into the new table and I am not sure how to do it. I have done research and tests but unsuccessfully.
I've 2 tables in my MySql DB,Employees and Assets & I want to pick 2 columns Employees and one column from Assets,then how would I display them into a JTable??
I m new to programming and am working on the college project. I have MySQL 5.6.20, Eclipse Kepler and Apache Tomcat 7.0.54. I m trying to retrieve the whole table from MySQL schema into a jsp. All the possible things i can do, i have already tried, but none of them are working.
The following attachment contains the whole project. I have my sql connection code in Sample.java file, which i want to get working in Fetch.jsp on the Submit button click. But it shows the tomcat error as localhost:8080/Sample HTTP Status 404-/Sample ; type Status report; message /Sample; Description The requested resource is not available.

I am trying to load a CSS file from a mySql DB table (each row represent a customer that use the application, and each one can set his own CSS file).
How can I convert the Stream / String that I loaded from the Clob column to something that I can use here XXXX
scene().getStylesheets().add( XXXX );
I found alot of examples, but they all talking about files from filesystem, or URLs. My CSS file is in the application memory. I want to prevent the option to write my string as a new file and then read it again. I have no problem with loading the CSS file from database, this part is O.K.
The problem is that I populate the table with autoincrement primary key. I don't want it to be visible. I have been googling for hours to find no solution. It seems that sql/mysql provides no solution by selecting all table columns except one. So I wonder, how I could overcome this problem. Here is some of my code:
public void tableChanged(TableModelEvent e) { int row = e.getFirstRow(); int col = e.getColumn(); model = (MyTableModel) e.getSource(); String stulpPav = model.getColumnName(col); Object data = model.getValueAt(row, col);
[Code] .....
The ID is used in
stmt.addBatch("update finance.fin set " + stulpPav + " = " + duom + " where ID = " + studId + ";");
I tried to omit ID from my SELECT statement, I tried to put Date as a first element in data[iEil][0] but neither options were successful. Data hasn't been changed in database. NOW, everything works fine, except I don't want ID column to be visible in my table.
I need to process one component drag to the table. I misunderstand, how I can see to which Cell fall the component. I tried to use Event and Mouse event handlers in my custom Cell, but they do not work. I can copy the drag event to the table and table handles it, but how to get needed Cell I cant understand.
This is my codes in a button that if I click it . that information will send to Jtable but the problem is the jtable is in another frame so how can i connect this ?
DefaultTableModel model = (DefaultTableModel) new admin().tableBagtags.getModel(); if (txtName.getText().equals("")) { JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "Please fill out all fields.", "Error!", JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE);
I have a requirement where in my primefaces datatable ,the filterMatchMode attribute(like any part of field,whole field) needs to be selected by the user by select menu .
To achieve this i have declared a variable in my viewscoped managed bean as filterCriteria and set the filterMatchMode attribute as filterMatchMode="#{beanName.filterCriteria}".The bean variable is getting set in the managed bean on submit but the filtering is not happening,i am getting empty message.
Also when i remove the keyed in value from filter box the data table is not restored which otherwise must be restored in normal situations. I have used and modified the example code given in primefaces showcase here.The code snippet is as below
<h:form id="tblFrm"> <h:selectOneMenu id="filterOptions" value="#{dtFilterView.filterOption}" required="true" requiredMessage="You must select an option!"> <f:selectItem id="hd1" itemLabel="Select" itemValue="#{null}" />
i have a problem, im trying to get some values from a jtable (tabla) and insert them in a mysql database, so i scan the table for some values to know which of the rows i must insert ("s" or "n").
I'm able to insert few rows, but when the last row with "s" or "n" is inserted it launch me a NullPointerException and I dont know why.
This simple program should build a new table with random values and on the getValue method (perhaps called from othe TestClass) return back content of particular cell. why my getValue method doesn't work. Nay! It returns error while compilation.
import java.util.Random; class TablicaIntowa{ public int getValue(int a){ return tabl[a]; } //getValue method end
i found some problem for this jsp code. Actually I'm new in jsp. I'm trying to insert some data in a sql table in jsp by user input. Here's my code but i couldn't completed it.
