We have a requirement that we need to have text area/text box on screen to accept multiple languages like (Spanish and russian) that means user can able to enter their text data either in any language like english,russian and spanish(It should be possible to enter the comments in russian and spanish languages). Is it possible to implement in java/j2ee?

How can this be achieved under Windows 7, Enterprise (works OK under Linux). I have tried : E.g.,
Locale.setDefault( .. );
JComponent.setDefaultLocale(Locale.LANG);
Setting resource bundle
but to no avail. The application always inherit the Win 7 system locale.
I am making use of NetBeans IDE 8.0 to build a GUI. The idea is that I set multiple values received from textfields to textarea. This will enable me print the work. But ONLY ONE value from textfields is set(appear on textarea); the others do not appear at all. Below is example of what I mean:

Only one is being set. The rest are not.

What I'm supposed to be doing is making it so the program can accept multiple filter and sort commands at one time, and each should be separated by a whitespace.I was thinking about parsing the input again, using whitespace as the delimiter, then normally progressing with each token, as though there was only one command.
However, coding this the way I'm doing it will firstly probably take hours, and secondly, it's likely not even right. I don't have any real way to determine which token contains which data from the Song objects.These are the specific requirements for this portion:A sort/filter command consists of one or more of the following options:
-year:<year(s)>
-rank:<rank(s)>
-artist:<artist>
-title:<title>
-sortBy:<field>

View Replies View RelatedI have tried to implement MultipleSelectionModel with mostly success in TreeView, but definitely with quirks. I've looked at the implementation in TreeView and it's off putting to say the least. Hopefully it doesn't need to be that complicated. For now, all I need is it to handle SINGLE SELECTION, but it needs to be solid. I've put in a lot of println's to see what gets called. Most don't seem to be called. I'm relying on TreeView to look up the object being selected, I'm not sure if that's appropriate. The internal implementation seems to worry about tree state a lot.
It baffles me as to why there isn't a base class from which to extend or reuse? I'm doing this so I can delay a selection (make it vetoable), also to handle drag/drop more cleanly (so target won't move because of drag action).

I am using JSTL library in my jsp. Previously, I was directly printing the text in JSP without using JSTL and it was printing fine.
My text is : Server Down, can't perform operation.
I was getting this error message from my backend code and was able to print this successfully. However, after using JSTL, doing like this:
pageContext.setAttribute("error", someObject.getError());
<c:out value="${error}" />
Here, c refers to <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>
This is now printing the encoded form of the apostrophe char : Server Down, can't perform operation.
I am generating textfields dynamically using JSTL forEach. Here is the code ..

If there are 4 values in underlyingTickersList A, B C, D and E ... I am getting those values correctly displayed in each text field.
However if I submit the form with all these value how can I get it in the bean? I guess I need to have dynamic id or name for each text field. How can generate it?
Note** I dont have Struts framework.. I am using request.getParameter to fetch the values and set into the bean variable.
I want to use this class and method with all of my buttons and text fields. My program contains 1 push button that adds questions and answers to a test, 2nd button that starts a test, a 3rd button that scores the test, and a text field that enters the user information. How would this work? I know how to create questions and answers, start a test, and score a test it's just a matter of how to implement the button and text fields. I started programming some time ago and i recently finished a game i've been programming in Java just to get used to the code. The game is a simple text-based RPG where almost everything is random except the character movement.
I've been thinking about learning HTML and CSS because i'm really interested in building webpages. I have no one to ask this question so here i am.
Is there a way to implement my game in a webpage?
I imagine a black window exactly like a classic OS terminal where the text is streamed and the user can play the game with keyboard inputs. I made the game with 5 different classes, i used Eclipse and i have my project there. Should i use a service like Github to share works like this one?

I am learning JAVA and understanding some of its specific oddities. For example I notice that JAVA loves instances but not variables.
In Python:
x = 1
y = 2
print(x,y)
yields (1,2)
then I do y = x and print
getting (1,1)
This makes sense to me since x and y are variables and thats how variables work. In JAVA I notice this script:

I'm beginner with javaFX and i need to change language of the screen. but how to reload the screen when the language was changed. The application have a button where have the language available. I want just refresh screen when the user change language. Here is the start method to show the stage.

I have a question about JTextArea colors. When i set the color to blue and then write something on the JTextArea (JTextArea.append) and then set it back to black everything will be black. How can i solve that? Like in Notepad++ or Eclipse when you write keywords in a JTextArea (where you write your code) only some words change color.

I can not seem to get around how to print the text into several files.
I am developing a java swing application. In which i want to set a different text to a label in same program ( in single JFrame). I dont want to use another JFrame instead i want to use setText method of java and set different text to a label at different intervals of time according to my need.
I am using java 1.7 sdk and pupy linux as OS. Below i am giving source code.
What i am doing is in constructor of class i am setting an image to JFrame and setting text "Welcom...". And when user clicks on this JFrame a method is called which will clear the text "Welcome.." and sets new text to another label "Enter...." and from there another method is called and it clears label "Enter..." and sets a text "Plzz wait..". and yet there are more methods, i havnt provided here.
But what is happening is it shows welcome text and then directly Plzz wait..
Its not showing text Enter... because control is finished after last method gets executed.
My concern is i want to show all the setText (my messages) in a sequence. Without using another JFrame. There is no any user input other than user will click on first welcome page.

Initially I had a single zone which was all stored in an arraylist and everything was working in regards to the player moving around. The problem I now have is how to add further zones to my game. Ideally I would like an arraylist for each zone, and would use the below to create each arraylist
