JSP :: Navigation System Putting Two Headers In HTML File When Fully Rendered In Browser
Oct 21, 2014
I inherited a navigation system which is like this:
index.jsp
homepage.jsp
When I click on the "view source" in the browser, I get two headers like this:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html lang="en_US">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
[Code] ....
I know this is not good. I have inherited the nav system from someone else and I have a lot of complicated AJAX and JQuery going on inside my module. I am not sure how to resolve.
I have two classes - One is Read.java and the other is Display.java
Read.java looks like this
public static void main(String[]args){ File file = new File("test.txt"); try{ FileReader fr = new FileReader(file); BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(fr);
[Code] ....
Display.java looks like this:
public class Display extends JFrame { private JComboBox comboBox; private JPanel contentPane;
/** * Launch the application. */ public static void main(String[] args) { //method call to access other class
[Code] ....
Instead of having it so it displays the id's to the console,is there a way I can set it straight up to the combo box?
I have an assignment on sorting, i kno i can get the sorting down but im having an issue with inputing the 512 ints in a file into an array. the instructor provided us with a file with 4 equal sets of ints. i tried to make my array of size [scan.nextInt()] and it cuts off the last 21 ints. and skips the first int. how can i get all of the integers in the text file into my array? this is what i have so far. if i hard code the array to size 50000 and then try to print the array it compiles but errors out when running it.
System.out.println("Please Enter text file in this format, XXXXX.txt :"); String file =fileName.nextLine(); Scanner scan = new Scanner(new File(file)); int [] data = new int[scan.nextInt()]; <-------here it skips first int int count= data.length; for (int i=0; i<data.length-1;i++) { data[i]=scan.nextInt(); } System.out.print(Arrays.toString(data));
rst 4 ints in output are: 501, 257, 390, 478...., supposed to be 492,501,390....and last ints are: ....88, 83, 79, 0 and supposed to be :88 83 79 77 76 72 71 71 66 57 56 48 48 41 33 30 23 23 18 17 15 13 9....it replace last ints with 0. why ? and how do i fix this. attached it the text file
I wanted to use 16x16 pixel images in my game to make it look more "pixely", but the images get really blurry when they're rendered. How do I make them clearer?
Java Code:
import static org.lwjgl.opengl.GL11.*; import org.lwjgl.opengl.*; import org.lwjgl.*; import org.lwjgl.input.Mouse; import org.lwjgl.input.Keyboard; import org.newdawn.slick.opengl.Texture; import org.newdawn.slick.opengl.TextureLoader; import java.io.*; public class Test{ int DISPLAY_WIDTH = 1000, DISPLAY_HEIGHT = 500;
What best API or whatever you call for browser automation? I mean clicking links, filling forms, gathering sources and other info. I already tried selenium WebDriver. It have all needed functions but there is no feature like attaching code into already opened browser so even doing google search it opens new browser window (opening takes ~5-10secs). Also I believe that there is no way that I could embed that browser into GUI.
Also tried WebSpecs and old Watij but also didnt found any way to attach or embed browser into my GUI.
So what I need is that I could create GUI with embeded browser and bunch of buttons. I click buttons then embeded browser clicks links, gets info etc.
I have a table column and I want to change the columns header justification from center justified to left justified. How do I do this, either via code or via CSS.
Is there a way to disable sorting by clicking on the JTable headers?I have tried a few ways but because I am sorting the data when I load it that 'breaks' that also. Here is what I am trying to achieve.
I am creating a web application that runs on server X(unix) and it has another unix system mounted on it. I want to generate the file tree structure of this mounted unix file system and show it on to a web application so that users can select a file and move it onto this current unix machine.
I know this sounds stupid and you may want to say why cant we directly copy the file, I am doing a proof of concept and using this as a basis.
I am new to java and I am creating a system that will ask the user to create a file that will store to a text file, Once the user created the file I have a class that will let the user input the subject name that has been created, However, I keep on getting this java.util.nosuchelementexception.Here's my code:
public void display_by_name() { String id, name,total; String key[]=new String[30]; String value[]=new String[30]; int i=0;
We are using trinidad tag library with jsf 20. We are using tr:table and rows="25" and managedbean is in ViewScoped . There are more than 100 records, even though we navigate away from the current and come back or relogin the table pagination is remianing in the previous state.
In our currenr project we have a requirement to open a local/network driver file/folder using JSF 2.0 <h:outputLink> in Firefox browser find the below sample code & correct it, how to achieve the above requirment
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException at javax.swing.ImageIcon.<init>(ImageIcon.java:205) at GUI.<init>(GUI.java:26) at Apples.main(Apples.java:7)
i think the problem is to do with my images not being recognised. I put them in my source in User>...>workspace>src which is correct as far as i know. From what i know the images should show up if i look at my src file in eclipse but they dont. I tried changing the file type from .png to .jpg but it makes no difference.
I am creating a program where it reads the data inside a file and then places this data into arrays. The file I created has numbers 1-30 in it, file named, testing1.txt .
I am getting the following exception because of the **ui include** tag in template.xhtml. Is the src attribute of ui include is wrong.:
javax.faces.FacesException: Could not resolve NavigationCase for outcome: index at org.primefaces.renderkit.OutcomeTargetRenderer.getTargetURL(OutcomeTargetRenderer.java:86) at org.primefaces.component.menu.BaseMenuRenderer.encodeMenuItem(BaseMenuRenderer.java:162) at org.primefaces.component.tabmenu.TabMenuRenderer.encodeItem(TabMenuRenderer.java:89)
I want to store an image/file into oracle database using jsp.
I have written code to store data when am running in my machine it is working fine, but not working in server throwing an error saying that "The system cannot find the file specified."
I trying to make a file browser but when i try to add item to a FlowPane through me an error at runtime, look at this code if i add label with imageView when there are more than x ítem the error appear.
But if i add the label and the imageView alone the error didn't show. Ihave folder in my pc with more than 1200 file and the error always appear. Is there a way to make a flowpane or tilepane hold enough items?
I'm having trouble figuring out why my do-while loop isn't fully working. As you can see, it will loop for the first 2 values of i (1 and 2), but then after that if i doesn't fit in my if or if-else statements, the loop stops.
int iterationNum = 1; int cycle = 0; double denominator = 1.0; double pi = 0.0; double validPrint; int n = 1; do { pi += (4.0 * Math.pow(-1.0, cycle))/denominator;

issue : my session timeout is not fully working on my page.
After a transition of an object the UI is not fully updated. One can still see "lines" from the "movement". This only happens on Linux (Debian) and not on Windows. Is this a known issue that has been fixed in later Javafx releases ? I am still using Java7 because of WinXP support
I have a problem with a shape generator. It randoms the shapes just fine, I just do not know how to make all the shapes fully stay within the frames border.
RandomShapeMaker.java
import java.awt.Color; import java.awt.Graphics; import javax.swing.JPanel; import java.util.Random; public class RandomShapeMaker extends JPanel{ private static final Random randomShape = new Random(); public void paintComponent( Graphics g ){ super.paintComponent( g );
