I'm trying to get some text from a class but there are more then one classes with the same name and it gives me the text from all the classes... how do I get text from a specific class?

I can't seem to understand how to change certain line of text, inputted from a file. For this I really don't know where to begin. I have got the input from the file. But I want to change like very other line in the file. Can't seem to understand how this could be done. Is there away to access specific lines from the file and edit them? So far, i have this:

Am i going in correct way?
I am working with jsoup right now and I am trying to get a range of file extensions such as doc, docx, txt, pdf, and so on. Anyways i have looked through the jsoup api and cant seem to find what I am looking for. The closest thing I have found is
Elements files = doc.select("a[href$=.doc]");
This should work but only grabs one extension. How to grab multiple at one time? My guess would be:
Elements files = doc.select("a[href$=.doc]").select("a[href$=.docx]").select("a[href$=.txt]");
However I'm not sure for certain. Anyways I will provide a link for the api .....
I am somewhat of a java newbie (learned it awhile back and just getting back to programming some again.) I have a text file of data much larger than this, but here are the first ten rows and first 10 columns.

I can read and write all the data back out to files. But I am not sure about a few things.
First would it be best to use BufferedReader and OutputStream such as:

Second, I was then going to initialize an array but I might have 30 or more columns of data, of which I might perform and output only 10 columns to my output.txt file so is this a good way?
Third, I only want to perform operations (such as average the data, convert units or multiply two columns together) on 10 of the 30 plus columns and print out results to output.txt file. For example, In testdata.txt file above, I want to skip first seven columns. I then want to take column 8 and multiply by 100 then divide by 3 and output result to output file. I want to do same for column 9. Column 10 I want to multiply by different number (by 3.5).

The basic gist is it's "A program that reads in a text file that uses a specific input format and uses it to produce a formatted report for output."
Specifically :"For this lab you will write a Java program that produces a simple formatted report. The program will prompt the user to enter a file name. This file must contain information in a specific format (detailed below). Each "block" of the file contains information for one player in a competition -- the name of the player followed by a number of different scores that that player achieved. I get the following errors when I try and compile it:

My attempt below seems to be moving to a random component not the desired jtextarea.

Where I use 1 and 0 in the main for write if the level (you see that the numbers are always sixr? are egual to six level existing) BEFORE is done correct or wrong
- when in the main a user make a level a feedback coming back from the class level saying if the user made the count correctly or wrong. and i wanna replace the value (1 or 0) in the txt file with the new level result.
So i have all what i need as parameters i think.
name_used to look for the correct line in .txt file with .indexOf
level_choosed to go throught the correct index of that line
level_result (1 or 2) to be replaced with the existing one

In my main class a user can save his name in a txt file (and the system initially will add 6 value equals to 0) than he can choose between 6 level and make it.

AT THIS MOMENT i just made other class and they work, is this new one that is hard for me. I'm trying to make a class that:
1- (first method called verificaRisultati) take name_used and level_choosed from the main and go to check in the .txt file if that level before was done right(1) or wrong(0)
and return something like "before you made this level properly" or "before you made this level incorrectly" AND THEN let the user start with the level.
2- (second method called salvaRisultati) at the end of the level i wanna pass the result (correct/incorrect) to another method of this class that will save the value (1 or 0) associated to the user in the right position.

Basically , I'm trying to make a program that makes the Finch follow the object. I have made two classes :
NewOption52 and FollowClass.
Class NewOption52 contains a method which determines the properties of the GUI. Class FollowClass contains a main method which calls GUI method from class NewOption52 and it also contains several methods which dictates the Finch's behavior alongside with appending text to JTextArea feed.
When I connect the Finch and run the program , a GUI should appear and inside JTextArea should have text which says ""Please Place An Object in front of Finch And Then Tap Finch to Activate!". It didn't happen when I run the program.

When ever try and change the buttons text outside of the actual GUIGame constructor i can't. Like in the main method or the action listener.
The code won't work if you copy paste because it's a part of a larger package.

Create a dnd (dungeons and dragons) character creator and back ground generator, have it display and run on a gui, to start with i decided to creator the gui as i go so i can see the progress, first i tried eclipse and windows builder, well after 1 day of reinstalling windows builder in about 5 different ways from multiple guides and sometimes getting it to partly work ...
After doing some more research I have figured out how to get the main program to display the gui . Heres what i have:

Now this works fine and the gui displays when the program is run but I can't change the text of any of the jlabels or textfield. If I try to do it in the main class i need to change them from private to public static but then in the form builder it says "cannot bind to static field *name of field*" but if i take static off then i cant change its value!
From what i understand this is because the window is an instance, so how to i change the value in that instance? I could put all my code in the one class, the one that creates the gui, but i really want it seperate, i would like the gui to update as the code runs... So how do i do it, how do i change the contents of jlabels on the fly, read the contents of text boxes on the fly etc....
I tried adding a getter setter

I have a main class that hold the frame and paints, a class for drawing my game, and an image that is drawn too.
I want to count the amount of times I click on this "android" (right now it counts if i click the screen) but the text from the class Game doesn't update.
androidX = Main.width - android.getWidth();
doesn't work. In my head the image should be inside the borders but it isn't. Have I calculated the pixels wrong or am I missing something?

The problem is i want to replace some string text with foreign characters, but JTextArea returns plainText.
For Example:

but textArea returns plainText.

It's not doing anything, I don't understand why.
I have a textField in which I have text in. The text is enter customer name. I would like for this text to disappear whenever the user clicks on the textField to enter a customer name. I am using the automated swing gui builder in NetBeans. Is their some sort of feature for this under properties of the text field? If not then what are my other options?
