My programms is working perfectly except for one little detail that annoys me. I have a JTable with a button on the first column that allows to delete this row from the table. Its working well except when I try to delete the last row of the table, the button stay there and then the table freeze and i can't delete any rows because i receive a "Out of bound Exception" . But, when I use the command table.getRowCount());
Before and after the removal of the line, the table "knows" that a line was removed but as i said, the button stay there. The screenshots in thumbnails show the situation before and after clicking the button next to the "Year" cell.
It's good to add that i'm adding rows in the table from a button outside the table.
Heres my code:
Main.java
static String [] title = {"X","Nom","SRM","Rend.","%","Kg",};
static Object[][] contenu;
static DefaultTableModel model1 = new DefaultTableModel(contenu, title);
static JTable tableauGrains = new JTable(model1);
tableauGrains.getColumn("X").setCellRenderer(new ButtonRenderer());
tableauGrains.getColumn("X").setCellEditor(new ButtonEditor(new JCheckBox()));
ButtonRenderer.java
I currently have all the code working to fill my database and to display it, although I would like to have it displaying in a JPanel but I cannot figure it out so a JFrame will do. Add, Edit and Delete button for the JTable so I can add rows to the table and database, edit existing rows and delete rows also.
Introduction: There is a glossary table of English and French words. The glossary table has duplicate rows and is out of order. I would like to remove the duplicates and sort them by the English column.
1. Open the glossary.html file in your browser, you will see a table on the left with an English column and a French column. On the right hand side of the screen you will see the unit test results. As you complete each TODO the unit tests will pass.
2. There are five areas marked TODO in the glossary.html file,
complete all of the TODOs. Check that all of the unit tests pass. This test project uses the following frameworks:
I am attempting to show a GUI that will show records from a SQL Server table. That part I have done. However, I need to allow the user to be able to edit the Approval field of the table when he/she views it. Following is my code:
I have a database table containing two columns A and B. They both contain integers. I'd like to know if it's possible, when displaying them in a JTable, to be combined in one column X. I still need, however, to be able to distinguish them from each other when selecting a row from the JTable. E.g. to store each of the values in a a separate variable. Maybe I can combine them when reading from the ResultSet and use some sort of delimiter ? But how?
I've 2 tables in my MySql DB,Employees and Assets & I want to pick 2 columns Employees and one column from Assets,then how would I display them into a JTable??
I have project to get from users input like name,surname,to save to Jtable,i have table and jtextfiled but when user get input they don t save to table here is my code:
Project.zip (33.54K)
public class Projektni extends JFrame { public final JTextField ime = new JTextField(10); public final JTextField prezime = new JTextField(10); public final JTextField index = new JTextField(10); public DefaultListModel podaci = new DefaultListModel(); public JList lista = new JList(podaci); String kolone[] = {"ID","Name","Age"};
I am building a little application for personal use where I can track my finance. Now, what I would like to get is an always visible JTable "footer" OR horizontal space field attached to the bottom of the window. The idea is that scrolling down/up wouldn't affect it's visibility(like JTable header). Might a picture tell a thousand words: see attachment.
I am wondering, maybe JTable OR TableModel class has a property to solve this problem(I haven't found any)? Or shall I make another ScrollPane/JPanel? Which path of search shall I pursue?
how I would achieve the concept of saving the contents of a JTable, so even after program restarts, the table would retain the data. I am developing a utility that will be a password storage book. The user enters passwords and they are stored in a JTable. Currently, the table resets whenever the program is restarted, however I would like it to keep it's data. URL....
In my code where the Button Action Performed is created, I have done the following to ensure that the visibility of the JTable and JScrollPane have been set to true. But it does not work?
I need to process one component drag to the table. I misunderstand, how I can see to which Cell fall the component. I tried to use Event and Mouse event handlers in my custom Cell, but they do not work. I can copy the drag event to the table and table handles it, but how to get needed Cell I cant understand.
This is my codes in a button that if I click it . that information will send to Jtable but the problem is the jtable is in another frame so how can i connect this ?
DefaultTableModel model = (DefaultTableModel) new admin().tableBagtags.getModel(); if (txtName.getText().equals("")) { JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(null, "Please fill out all fields.", "Error!", JOptionPane.ERROR_MESSAGE);
The gist of it is to create a very basic memory game. There are 12 buttons, each associated with an icon. Every button that you click will display the icon and will stay there until clicked again. I got the bulk of it taken care of, but my issue lies with switching the icons back and forth. I can get them to display one at a time, but when I click on a new button, all the icons except the button I just clicked don't display. Essentially, only one shows up at a time.
I am using JS, how we can make focus to a button during onload, the button need to get focus which is in tabbedPane tab Name : (Search Critera1) using javascript.
I have a JButton with a .PNG icon on it. I want to get that button click in actionPerformed Method but Jbutton have no Label... How i will know that which button clicked?
I am creating a mad libs type program. This section of code is for the user to be able to make their own mad lib template (that people will be able to fill out later). The normal blanks in a mad lib are for verb, noun, adjective, adverb, etc. I cam up with 13 or so of these buttons, but it would be nice that if the user wants to add a button that they think we missed, such as 'Person in the Room' or 'Silly Location'...that the user would be able to do this. I sort of pictured there being a button that says 'add button' or something like that. Is there a ways to do this with the way I've set things up?
public class MadLibs { public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException { //////////////////// //TEXT PANE WINDOW// //////////////////// //Set up a JTextPane object : The JTextPane is a specialized form of the JEditorPane //designed especially for the editing (and display) of styled text. final JTextPane pane = new JTextPane();
I've this "program" that shall manage to register a dog, show a list of all registerd dogs and delete dogs from the list.. And I'm stuck at the latter one. So I've to classes, one for the dog and one for register/program. This is my main program
package hundRegister; import java.util.Scanner; import java.util.ArrayList; public class HundProgram { private static Scanner tangentbord = new Scanner (System.in); private static ArrayList<Hund> hundlista = new ArrayList<>();
[Code] ......
So, when I enter a name on a dog that exist on my list, it just jumps down to } else { and write that dog can't be found even if I write the exact name on the dog.
I can't see what I'm doing wrong, been trying out different methods now.
leaveQ method does not work..To see the other files related to these code click here:(Its a dropbox location) URL....Java Code:
public class CustomerQ { private int MaxLength; private int totalCustomers;//assuming #of customers served int Qlength; Customer cus; LinkedList4Q cus4Q;
