Java Servlet :: How To Download Large Files

I need to download large amount files, what should I care, Is the following code have problem on download large files

private static byte[] load(String filename) throws IOException {
        FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream(filename);
        byte[] data = new byte[fis.available()];
        fis.read(data);
        fis.close();
        return data;
    }
