I want to have a button that will include another node beyond the text and image that are part from the Button. This node as example will be a circle that I will change his color from gray to green if the button was pushed.
I try to do this with Background / BackgroundFill with no success
I tried to get access to the Pane / Region of the Button, but I can't find a way to do it.
I'm having a problem with SplitPane (horizontal Flow). What I'm looking for is to find a way to maintain the left pane in the same position when the main window maximizes. I do not want the left pane to grow on its width. If I go into the AnchorPain Constraint in the Scene Builder and remove the right and left constraints, when I run the application, the left pane keeps its position, but it appears a gap between the two panes (the left pane and the right one).
I need to find the way to expand the right pane to the position where the left pane is.
The link shows an image that illustrates the problem. [URL]
I've a simple status bar in which I've several icons inside a HBox (ui drawn with fxml). These icons can be visibile or hidden due to some configuration properties in my app. I've a bind between some BooleanProperty and image.visibleProperty. The problem, as you can guess, is that when an icon in the middle disappears I've a hole. There is a property as in Android [URL] ...., that hide the node and collapse its space?
I want to ask if there is an option to set the vertical position of the node handles of the TreeView-control.
I used a custom TreeCell factory with icons of sizes between 24 and 64 pixel and the location of the handle is regardless of the size of the icon on top of the cell. So if you got large icons the view did not look so nice.What I want is a property or something to center the handle in the cell depending on the size of the cell. Is there such an option?
treeView.setOnMouseClicked(new EventHandler<MouseEvent>() { @Override public void handle(MouseEvent mouseEvent) { if (mouseEvent.getClickCount() == 2 && mouseEvent.getButton() == MouseButton.PRIMARY) { // Some action } } });
For some reason when I click on a tab body I can also perform the listener action. How I can add additional statement to perform the action only if I select node?
We have a problem with a JavaFX application running on Java 7. Sometimes a form (BorderPane) does not show correctly – it seems to be transparent (i.e. content previously shown at the same place is still visible). Controls seem to be present and respond to events – e.g. we can close the form by blindly clicking the appropriate button. Once the issue happens it is persistent, i.e. next time we open the form, it behaves the same.
We have no reproducible scenario leading to the issue. It just happens here and there – we have not been able to identify any pattern yet.
Additional information:
The form (BorderPane) is loaded during application start-up but it is not shown initially,to show the form we remove previous contents from a StackPane and add the form instead,to hide the form we do the reverse.
I want to develop simple example in which I can select TreeView Nodes with Buttons(in some cases clicking on image and etc). I created this simple sample:
I'm trying to implement a scene with a ScrollPane in which the user can drag a node around and scale it dynamically. I have the dragging and scaling with the mouse wheel working as well as a reset zoom.
Here's my issue:
I'm having trouble with the calculations to fit the node to the width of the parent. If I zoom in or out, the fit to width does not work. If I change the window size after running fitWidth() once, the fit to width does not work the second time.
Here is my code as an SSCCE and how it works...
1. (works) Mouse wheel will zoom in and out around the mouse pointer 2. (works) Left or right mouse press to drag the rectangle around 3. (works) Left double-click to reset the zoom 4. (doesn't work) Right double-click to fit the width
My calculations to re-position the rectangle to the upper left of the pane and fit it (i.e. scale it up or down) to the width of the parent are incorrect.
I trying to make a file browser but when i try to add item to a FlowPane through me an error at runtime, look at this code if i add label with imageView when there are more than x ítem the error appear.
But if i add the label and the imageView alone the error didn't show. Ihave folder in my pc with more than 1200 file and the error always appear. Is there a way to make a flowpane or tilepane hold enough items?
Though it may seem strange but in one of the application i work on still uses EJB 2.1 entity beans.While looking at the deployment log, seems like each Entity bean is registered using both remote-home and remote interfaces.
Using the remote-home's JNDI lookup i was able to get the EJBObject proxy and subsequently create and use the entity.But what about the remote interface JNDI lookup ? Reason i am asking is that one needs to create an entity before use it. That said, how to use the object that i get from remote interface JNDI lookup ? Note that the class of the returned object says its "com.sun.proxy.$Proxy13" type.The JNDI location i am using "java:app/EJBApp/Entity!com.abc.remote.Remote"
I'm trying to integrate google reverse geocoding address into my jsf application. I would like to be able to enter a postcode and hit a 'Find Address' button to bring me back all the addresses within that location. I have attempted the script below just to get something working in html then build a jsf2 page up. The results that I keep getting back are for a specific building rather than a list of houses within the same street. I think this is because I'm using the lat/long.
There is a weblogic server running at remote place and i need to access the API's in that remote method using JNDI lookup. My application is configured in Spring Tool Suite IDE with java 6 and tomcat 7 and I have used Spring to perform the jndi lookup of weblogic server. In spring i have used simpleremotestatelesssessionproxyfactorybean class to lookup a weblogic server using jndi and get the remote object. But somehow on doing it i'm getting the following error.
org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE: vmcid: SUN minor code: 203 completed: Maybe at com.sun.corba.se.impl.logging.ORBUtilSystemException.writeErrorSend(Unknown Source) at com.sun.corba.se.impl.logging.ORBUtilSystemException.writeErrorSend(Unknown Source) at com.sun.corba.se.impl.transport.SocketOrChannelConnectionImpl.sendWithoutLock(Unknown Source) at com.sun.corba.se.impl.encoding.BufferManagerWriteStream.sendFragment(Unknown Source)
[Code] ....
The exception is been thrown at com.sun.corba.se.impl.encoding.CDROutputObject method when calling writeTo(). Why I'm getting this error and can I do anything to remediate it. Irrespective of java this error occurs, i tried with java 5, 6 and 7 but still getting the same error.
I am having an issue deleting a node for a tree for one of the cases.The cases for deleting a node are:
1. if its the root set it to null 2. if its a leaf, have its parent point to null 3. if the node you want to delete does not have a right child, have deleted nodes parent point to delted nodes only child 4. find the nodes predecessor(next largest value), have have predecessor's left child be deletes left, and preds right to be deletes right. then have deletes parent point to pred and finally, delete preds old spot (the one that is giving me an issue, I believe)
The pre order of the tree I am currently on is 50 5 4 10 190 100 100 200 190 201
I am trying to delete 190 (which should be the first one)but when I try to print out the list after I delete, I get a stack overflow error when I try printing everything out.I am pretty sure that it has something to do with me hooking up the nodes incorrectly since error occurs for case 4, since it prints out just fine when I deleted previous nodes (like a leaf).Here is my delete method: (note, ignore my determineX and checkOtherHalf methods)
public boolean delete (E item) { if(root == null){ return false;
else if(item == root){ root = null; return true;
[code]....
I have confirmed that it is a pointer issue: I need to assign replacements old parents left child to null, to stop it, but idk how.Here is a screen shot of it when I debug it
I have an add button on my screen to add a new node to tree. So once we click add button a popup comes to provide the new node name and then we press add button and the new node gets added to the tree.So know i want that when ever we add a new node to the tree the value of the new node should get stored in an array at the same time.
I am building a program that when you enter 1. it allows you to setup an item. However running my code my second if statement runs through.
import java.util.Scanner; public class InventorySystem { public static void main(String [] args) { Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in); int count=0; int inputEntered=0; int numberOfItems=0; double cost=0.00; String item; String description;
So i am creating a File object which has a text file passed to it. I then try to do logic with it using a BufferedReader. However, I get a FileNotFoundException on the using my code below. The Error is on the BufferedReader line. I
Java Code: System.out.println("--Reading text file--"); File file = getFile(c,fileName) // Returns a File object. System.out.println(file); // Shows me the file is looking correct. Displays contents to console. BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(file)); System.out.println("BUFFERED"); while((line = br.readLine()) != null) { try { // Do Logic } catch(Exception ex){ ex.printStackTrace(); } br.close(); mh_sh_highlight_all('java');
I am trying to advance to the next node in my linkedList. Below is what i have so far.
/** * Move forward, so that the current element is now the next element in this sequence. * @param - none * @precondition: * isCurrent() returns true. * @postcondition: * If the current element was already the end element of this sequence (with nothing after it), then there is no longer any current element. * Otherwise, the new element is the element immediately after the original current element. * @exception IllegalStateException * Indicates that there is no current element, so advance may not be called. **/
I am getting errors when I try setting left and right values (which are String types) for my tree.I tried doing something like:
Node node = new Node("Is it human?", null, null); node.getLeft().setNode("Is it Zelda?");//the first left Q node.getRight().setNode("Is it Kirby?");//the first right Q
but that gives me a runtime error of "java.lang.NullPointerException" which points to the line 2. I also tried this:
Node node = new Node("Is it human?", null, null); node.setLeft(setNode("Is it Zelda?"));//the first left Q node.setRight(setNode("Is it Kirby?"));//the first right Q
but that gives me another error, pointing to the setNode for both lines 2 and 3,plus it wouldnt make sense since both setLeft and setRight takes in Node types, not String types.
Here is my Node class:
public class Node { private Node leftPt, rightPt;//left and right pointers for Node private String node, left, right; public Node(String node, Node leftPt, Node rightPt){ this.node = node; this.leftPt = leftPt; this.rightPt = rightPt;
I want to write simple game. Why if I press button UP and RIGHT it not move diogonally, may be it have special code. And how I need to write correctly border and gravity?
public class Main { public static void main(String args[]) { JFrame frame = new JFrame("Stickman"); Ground ground = new Ground(); frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(frame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE); frame.setSize(710, 480);
