I want to develop simple example in which I can select TreeView Nodes with Buttons(in some cases clicking on image and etc). I created this simple sample:
treeView.setOnMouseClicked(new EventHandler<MouseEvent>() { @Override public void handle(MouseEvent mouseEvent) { if (mouseEvent.getClickCount() == 2 && mouseEvent.getButton() == MouseButton.PRIMARY) { // Some action } } });
For some reason when I click on a tab body I can also perform the listener action. How I can add additional statement to perform the action only if I select node?
I want to have a button that will include another node beyond the text and image that are part from the Button. This node as example will be a circle that I will change his color from gray to green if the button was pushed.
I try to do this with Background / BackgroundFill with no success
I tried to get access to the Pane / Region of the Button, but I can't find a way to do it.
I'm using java FX-8 and JDK 1.8,Netbeans 8.0.2.I want to open pdf on button click in my JavaFXML Application.I have triued pdf viewer plugins and iText but it doesn;t work.I have to pass variable value in pdf too.
I have a problem with setting multiple splitpane divider positions. In my application there are multiple splitpanes (one inheriting the other). When resizing the scene (e.g. by double-click or mouse drag) the divider position default values (as set in the FXML) are not taken into account and the application therefore incorrectly displays the divider positions. For example, one pane that should be only 100px wide now spans over the half of the application. Its not very nice because one has to readjust the divider positions manually each time after resizing the window. At the same time, I dont want to set maximum values to keep the layout flexible.
I tried to solve this by adjusting the divider positions at a button click event (..setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>()...) but when I click it only one splitpane at a time is adjusted. As I have 3 splitpanes I have to click the button 3 times to get all the adjustments. I am not sure whether this is because the click event is consumed after the first adjustment and subsequent repaint of the scene?
A sample code of what I have now would look like this:
I have problem with manually (through my java code) selecting items in a JTree. I did Google the problem and found solutions here :
[URL]
This code worked for me only partially. Once I tried selecting deeper nested nodes, I ran into problems. Since my production code is very cluttered I built an example and reproduced my exact problem in it.
It streps through the tree by comparing user objects and finds the target node. Then it calls 'navigateToNode()' which uses the solution discussed in the links above.
This method behaves incosistently:
If you call it with an empty array it will correctly select the root node. The righthand pane shows the text of the selected node. = correct
If you call it with target node 1 it will correctly select node 1. The righthand pane shows the text of the selected node. = correct
If you call it with target node 1.1 it will select node 1.1 but for some reason it is not displayed as marked (no background). The righthand pane shows the text of the selected node. = only partly correct
If you call it with target node A it will run into an exception. Debugging reveals that the selection occurs correclty at first. You can also observe the righthand pane showing that 'A' was selected. But afterwards another TreeselectionEvent is occuring that has a NewLeadSelectionPath of null. I do not know where this second SelectionEvent is triggered from.
This code is run with Java 1.6.0_39 which is also what I will have to use in production.
The gist of it is to create a very basic memory game. There are 12 buttons, each associated with an icon. Every button that you click will display the icon and will stay there until clicked again. I got the bulk of it taken care of, but my issue lies with switching the icons back and forth. I can get them to display one at a time, but when I click on a new button, all the icons except the button I just clicked don't display. Essentially, only one shows up at a time.
I have some work where I have to create a binary tree. Anyway I am stuck on one of the classes which has several methods I must fill in! The code is below
The headers for each method are: public Node find (member p1)The method find(Member p1) is used to return the node which contains a particular member. It is a private method because the interface to CabinetTree should not provide direct access to the internal nodes. It makes use of the method Node findNode (Member p1, Node current)
and the next method is : Node findNode(Member p1, Node current) which searches the tree from current node to find a node whose value is equal to the Member p1, i.e. a node in the tree such that p1.equals(current.getMember()) is true. If there is no such node then the method should return null.
public class CabinetTree { private Node head; CabinetTree(Member p1) { head = new Node(p1, null);
I used tomahawk t:tree for showing my data in tree structure and displayed that very fine. But my problem is how can we find the node id in bean side when we select one node .Because i want to show some data based on that node.
So in my binary search tree I'm trying to write a method that deletes the idem but for some reason it's not working. I have two things, I have the method and then another piece of code that tests the deletion method. Here's the actual method
i wrote it on paper with my examples.and just for laughts , i uploaded another picture that dont belong to my problem. its just my way to understand binary search tree implementation , so i wanted so share.just for laught : looks like the map of the universe.
now my problem : why after i changed Current to Current.left, Parent still has the value of root. i draw and wrote it on a paper. to be clear as possible - picture 2 :
I'm trying to use LinkedBinarySearchTree but a lot of the variables are protected in BinaryTreeNode. I am creating a BinaryTreeNode object but it still isn't allowing me to use them. The variables I am trying to use are element, left, and right.
import ch11.exceptions.*; import ch10.LinkedBinaryTree; import ch10.BinaryTreeNode; /** * LinkedBinarySearchTree implements the BinarySearchTreeADT interface with links.
*/ public class LinkedBinarySearchTree<T> extends LinkedBinaryTree<T> implements BinarySearchTreeADT<T>
All the entries in the table are of type String.However, the String content for the “Head4” column can be very larger and displaying this makes the table very large.As an alternative, is there a way to provide a button for the “Head4” for each row and when the user selects the button on that row, the corresponding “Head4” column contents is displayed in a pop up dialog box ? I am using Primefaces 5.0.
How do you make it so that you can select 2 buttons in a radio button group? for example: If I have 7 radio buttons, and I want to be able to select 2 of the 7 instead of 1.
i have two classes, one is a GUI program and the other is an index writer program. the GUI program uses a j file chooser to select directories and display them in the text fields.the index writer is supposed to take the directories in the text fields and read from one(document location) and write into the other(index location) i want to run the index writer program by the click of a button(indexfbuton) in the gui programi have been able to get the directories to display in the text field but when i click the button to run the index writer class, nothing happens..here is the GUI class
I have been trying to develop a small desktop application. I have JFrame and a button. When I click the button, the app is supposed to save record to database. But it is impossible to click the botton twice. To explain in detail: when a user fill in the form and click the button, the app will warn the user if he/she haven't fill in the appropriate JTextFields. After warning it is impossible to click the button again. I mean after first click, the button is busy and impossible to click.
I am working on web project in java. i have taken buttons in column..and projects is my column..when i click on a button in first row ,i want fetch all information about selected project....so how can i do that?
I have a textbox called "answer" and 10 different buttons on a form. Now what i would like to do is click the button and have the Button Text in the textbox with the already present text.
So if i click the button 1 it should automatically recognize the clicked button and have its text copied to textbox.
I know the '.get' method but lets say i have 100 buttons so i cant repeat it for every single one of them.
I've a simple status bar in which I've several icons inside a HBox (ui drawn with fxml). These icons can be visibile or hidden due to some configuration properties in my app. I've a bind between some BooleanProperty and image.visibleProperty. The problem, as you can guess, is that when an icon in the middle disappears I've a hole. There is a property as in Android [URL] ...., that hide the node and collapse its space?
I want to ask if there is an option to set the vertical position of the node handles of the TreeView-control.
I used a custom TreeCell factory with icons of sizes between 24 and 64 pixel and the location of the handle is regardless of the size of the icon on top of the cell. So if you got large icons the view did not look so nice.What I want is a property or something to center the handle in the cell depending on the size of the cell. Is there such an option?
