JavaFX 2.0 :: Stage Icon In Windows 7 Taskbar Mouse Event
Jan 15, 2015
I develop a desktop soft use javafx8, and remove default border (e.g. title and close/min/max button), now use mouse left key click the taskbar icon is nothing,i want click the taskbar icon,if stage it's show then hidden, if stage it's hidden then show it,the problem is I can't capture any mouse click event,so i can't show or hidden my stage.
treeView.setOnMouseClicked(new EventHandler<MouseEvent>() { @Override public void handle(MouseEvent mouseEvent) { if (mouseEvent.getClickCount() == 2 && mouseEvent.getButton() == MouseButton.PRIMARY) { // Some action } } });
For some reason when I click on a tab body I can also perform the listener action. How I can add additional statement to perform the action only if I select node?
I am developing JavaFX application. I have requirement like that javafx application should be always on top. I could not find an option to make it always on top.
I am looking for a way to find a resize animation for an application I'm developing. I found this answer but I figure there could be a better method out there,
Java - How do I create a Resize animation for JavaFX stage? - Stack Overflow
I am just looking to select something in a list, then press a button which would enable the animation and enlarge the stage. This will happen twice.
I want to create a slot machine in NetBeans, with JavaFX library (without using JavaFX Scene Builder) but i have some problems to create UI.
I created algorithm already but without visuals.
Now my code is:
public class BEST extends Application { private ImageView var; //init imageview of images public static void main(String[] args) { launch(args);
[Code] ....
createbottom(); and creategr(); i wrote already (and my program creates grid pane of random images with double dimension array, random and imageview) and program runs, but i don t know how to keep track of credits balance,in the same time to create new random gridpane of images and to get rid of every gridpane.
Here is creategr();
private GridPane creategr(){ final GridPane creategr = new GridPane(); int[][] newarray=new int[3][3]; int w=100; for(int i=0; i<3; i++){ for(int j=0; j<3;j++)
I'm trying to set up a splash screen where a native splash screen is shown initially and then replaced with the stage from my preloader. This is fairly simple to do. I use the below code to get everything lined up properly.
private void alignStage(Stage stage) { SplashScreen splashScreen = SplashScreen.getSplashScreen(); if (splashScreen != null) { // Align the stage based on the current splash location Rectangle bounds = splashScreen.getBounds(); stage.setX(bounds.getX()); stage.setY(bounds.getY());
[Code] ....
The problem I'm having is that my Stage isn't actually shown by the time the commented event gets fired. The API for onShown says:
Called just after the Window is shown.
My guess is the window has transitioned to being shown, but there's a slight delay until it gets rendered on screen. If that's a decent assumption, is there a reliable way I can make sure my preloader stage is visible on screen before I hide the native splash?
The best option I can think of so far is to delay hiding the native splash until the preloader gets the BEFORE_START notification. This works (no flicker), but, since both splash screens are actually visible for a while, using a transparent splash doesn't work very well (which actually isn't too big of a deal).
I would like to ask you about possibility to restore javafx 8 app from iconified mode (setIconified(true)) to regular size via shorcut for example: Ctrl + Shift + Ins I use Windows 7 and jdk 1.8.0_40 beta.
I noticed that all my stages can be resized to zero size regardless of their contained scene, which is very ugly. How do I keep them from doing that? Is there some sort of intelligent way to bind the stage's min size to the size of the scene so that no part of the scene is cut off?
I'm trying to right a GUI in swing, and as part of my program, I want to open a secondary window out of the main window when a mouse clicks on the main window. Then, once I click a button on the secondary window, I want that window to close and submit data to the main window (like an info form). I have almost figured out how to do this, except for one problem. By putting a variable inside my form window called "ready," and then in my main window running a loop that constantly checks if ready is true and doesn't proceed until its true, I can create the form window, modify the values in it (currently just one value called "difficulty" that's modified by a jSlider), and then when i click the "begin" button, ready is changed to true, the form window closes, and the main window can proceed. However, when I try to put the while loop checking the ready variable inside a mouseClicked method in the main window, the form window freezes when it opens, and you can't see any of its content or modify it in any way (you can't even close it).
Here is my code:
//form window class import java.awt.*; import java.awt.event.*; import javax.swing.*; import javax.swing.event.*; public class formWindow extends JFrame { private JTextField instructions1;
Code as suggested on the web. It looks like this changes the icon in the window decoration only, which doesn't actually show on my Ubuntu desktop with Unity. What I really want is a custom icon for when I alt-tab through open applications. Currently it shows the default grey question mark. How do I assign an icon to the application.
Is there a possibility to use events for additional mouse buttons, like the next or previous mouse buttons, in javafx? If I use the setOnMousePressed event on a node, it only throws an event for the "PRIMARY" "SECONDARY" and "MIDDLE" buttons.
If I use this java application [URL] .... it is also possible to throw events for the next or previous mouse buttons of the mouse. But not in my javafx application.
I have multiselection working in my TableView but only via shift-click or using the keyboard but how do I enable the selection of several table rows via a mouse drag? It does not seem to work out of the box.
I have a list of Row objects and want to listen to changes in the name property of a Row object.
public class Row implements Serializable { private final SimpleStringProperty name = new SimpleStringProperty(this, "name", ""); public Row() { this(""); } public Row(String name) { this.name.set(name);
[Code] ....
I would expect to be notified 4 times. Line 23: Added, Line25, 26, 27: Update
But there are only 2 change events. For Line 26 and 27 there is no change event.
I'm making a tic tac toe program. Currently I have a welcome screen for my tic tac toe game, once the button is clicked I want the main game to open. I have created two FXML VBox windows created from JavaFX Scene Builder. I want to know how to close the welcome menu and launch the 2nd FXML window.
This 2nd FXML window will have it's own controller where the tic tac toe calculations will be held.
Here is the event listener on when the mouse action is performed on the button
We are doing a Timeline project, So this is what i want to do:
Pressing a "New Event" button opens the New event window where you are supposed to write input in three fields, name, date, and information. There is also a button "Create" that when i press that button, i want to take all the input from the fields and save/send it to our database, and go back to the timeline GUI. With this, i want a new event object to be created(in this case i have done several shapes in a group) so basically a new group i want to be added. All the information is suppose to be taken from the database right after i create it.
I'm pretty stuck on how i should solve this, for the moment have a group called event that i add on the canvas. First thing that pops up in my head is a void method that draws the event, or maybe a temporary array.. P
I want to do something when the treeitem collapsed or expanded,but both clicked the tree item icon and double clicked tree item can collapsed or expanded the tree item.so how to listen collapse and expand event?
How to catch the event when table view's column are re-positioned. Basically when the column is re-positioned from 1 position to 5 position , i want to do update the db.
I am new to javafx I start using it instead of swing i used the scene builder for my forms the problem i faced i don't know how to have main screen with menu bar at top and depending the select from the menu it will open other windows and those window must be inside my window just like for example netbeans.
I don't need to open new window in separate i need all windows inside my main window and controlling over them minimize maximize perhaps.
I need to process one component drag to the table. I misunderstand, how I can see to which Cell fall the component. I tried to use Event and Mouse event handlers in my custom Cell, but they do not work. I can copy the drag event to the table and table handles it, but how to get needed Cell I cant understand.
So I'm in the middle of creating a model program with voxels. I want to be able to see how the model looks like when I'm in for example my documents (not inside the real program). I want it to show an image of the model, just like a png file shows its image. I've tried looking around, but I've only found threads about changing exe files icon.
Image example:
So, is this possible in Java or do I need to use c/c++ (with JNA) to make this possible?
