Saving Game Objects To Some Relevant Type Of File That Can Be Recalled (Java)

I am simulating a game. This involves creating two Player objects(either HumanPlayer or ComputerPlayer), a TheBoard object, a TheGame object and a TheGameManager object. In the TheGameManager, i am trying to get it so that i can save the two Player objects, the TheBoard object and the TheGame object in current use at some point in the game and then load them later at some point. However, after debugged, i have found that it doesnt like the writeObject() method and skips and sends an exception up.
My TheGameManager class has the following fields:

I'm a independent IT contractor. On 2 systems this week I've experienced an issue when attempting to download JAVA the file is of an unknown type in IE. See attached. Alternative browsers on the same machine function properly.

The 2 and 6 refers user id ... I need to show only particular user with his own id.
So need to filter the files value with that id (after @ in raw data) .. How it can do ? any method to filter the data . That data format could not be changed in any way...

I'm trying to parse and compare the content of a zip file. However I'm stuck at what SHOULD be a very simple problem, however I can't seem to find a solution. I have done the following:

Which gives me the first entry of each zipfile as a ZipEntry type object. I have tried getting the path of the file (inside the zip file) and using this to create a File type object. This does not seem to work though I get:

And this is because I get a null return from trying to create the File file1 = new File(correctLocation);
I guess I cannot access the file inside a zip file this way. So my question is how can I make a ZipEntry type object into a File type object?
I am trying to clear all graphical objects of a certain type(all trees in particular). I have never had any issues doing so, and this method normally works well along with these variables:

That is this normally worked until I started added more trees to the screen after they had all been erased. What happens is that it won't clear all of them unless the max has been reached, that is 6. It will remove all trees up till the last one if the max has not been reached. In other words here is my screen before the clear all if the max has not been reached(* is a tree, _ is erased): ****

So my question is, is why aren't all the trees deleted? Why does it leave one left behind?
So I'm beginning to learn java with the book HeadFirst Java. The books says that all a tester class does is create objects of a new type and then use the dot operator...
I don't really understand what a tester class is and what it does ? and what is the Dot operator and how does it work ?
Everything compiles but doesn't work like it should. What the idea is, is to be able to add class personnel objects and have them saved in a file, so that later on i would be able to see them.
Back to my problem: When i create a new "Personnel" and try to run Write and read, to see if my new "Personnel" is added to the list, it's not there at all... what do i do wrong?

I have created this project and want to be able to add new members to my members arraylist, store the input in a .txt file and load the new members after closing and opening the program.
My code's not working and I don't know why. I'm trying to read numerical values from a file and saving all instances where a letter is entered instead of a number to a string to be referenced as an error at a later point on in the code. However, there's an error and like I've stated before, I don't know what caused it.

You have to create a very basic hangman type of game. Open Notepad and create a list of at least ten words in a text file. Save the file as a .txt file and use it to read words for the game. In this game you do not have to show pictures but you do need to keep track of the amount of times that the user has guessed wrong. When the game starts, show the amount of characters in the word represented as dashes and ask the user to type in a letter. if the user guesses correctly show the word again with the correct letter filled in the correct positions(s) and if the user correctly guessed the word, show a message. If the user guesses wrong, keep track of the body parts that needs to be reduced with every wrong guess and inform the user as well, also show a message.

I'm trying to save a picture from byte arrays using RandomAccessFile. The file appears but doesn't open (like its corrupted).
I'm using the bittorent protocol which gives a SHA-1 hash that I compare all the bytes with to verify the data. All the bytes pass the hash check and all the hashes are checked. So I'm pretty sure I'm getting all the bytes correctly.
Is there anything I can do that could tell what's going wrong?

For class, we need to create a word game using classes and objects.
The game is played in rounds. The player is presented with a word that is missing letters. The player has to fill in the missing spaces with their letter guesses. The words presented are chosen with a random number generator which has been provided for us. At the end of the game, the player is shown their score.
In steps, I have to:
-Welcome the player. -Present the puzzle. -Allow the player to fill in the blanks. -Have the program check responses for correct/incorrect input. -End the game if they have three misses, or continue if they complete the puzzle.
Now, to start, I have a class for the number generator, a class to store the array of 25 words, and a class for the game itself.
I am using libgdx and box2d to try to make a simple cannon game.
When I have the cannonball collide with another object I want to delete that object and have it stop calling all of it's functions. It doesn't seem like I can have it delete itself, and the contactListener has a reference to the cannonball and other object, but if I set either to null, it seems the original reference still exists and the object isn't deleted.
So I'm fairly new to java and have been learning game development. I've come across this error message on my StartingClass.java coding. Here is the Coding

The error reads "No enclosing instance of type BackGround is accessible. Now I have seven classes in my in my games src folder and none of them but the StartingClass.java has the error. Once again I'm fairly new to java and have not benn able to fix it.

I made a kind of maze game that includes the class keylistener and orients a object, i can't find where the program tracks this object (where its x and y coordinates are). So now my object can move freely through all walls and i want it to bounce back or at least something to happen when the object reaches a wall.
I want to find a way to limit my objects movement and because i cant find where the coordinates or variable for this object is i cannot limit its movement
So I'm still learning how to save data using Java. I know that saving data is extremely important when it comes to creating video games.

I'm trying to make sure that after I exit the program, joe starts in room 4, not room 1, and that he has visited rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, and 10. I have the save data created, but how do I save an array of boolean values?
