Everything works in this except the part where drawing a convexhull and the convexitydefects around an object. Drawing circle around the COG works OK. I tried to draw them with these lines but no luck.

Why the keyTyped function isn't triggered, when i type a key?

On the server side there is Tomcat 8.0.21 + APR connector. Every time this heartbeat is sent I see in the Wireshark and EtherDetect that new TCP connection is opened (SYN-SYNACK packets) and after getting response from Tomcat connection is closed (FIN – FINACK packets). I was expecting that TCP connections will be reused but not closed.

The constructor is supposed to take an ASCII file, take the numbers in the file, and populate a 2D array with the numbers in the file.
For some reason, the for loop I use to populate the array works outside of the constructor. When I put it in one of the methods, it runs normally. However, when I keep it in the constructor, I get the following error:

Anyway, when I run this program within Netbeans, it works perfectly. I have a backup of the project in eclipse as well, and I've copied all of the code over and tried running the same thing in Eclipse - exactly the same, it works perfectly. The problem is whether I compile the the code in Netbeans or Eclipse, the exported runnable jar for some reason has an issue with this one method. It doesn't crash, and it seems to be doing something, but it is by no means giving me the data from the website like it is supposed to.

All I'm trying to do is to search the data from the database and is doesn't show up!
I'm trying to read a xml file and delete it's contents. I do this by reading the file,writing it to a temp and then overwriting the original with the temp by renaming it

It does say the value of the local variable is not used however. I've debugged to ensure it hits the code it always prints out the line after too.It just does not overwrite my original xml file with the temp one.
It's had votes on stack so I thought that would of been reputableStack - overwrite but the second one got voted as a good answer. But still I would like to know if my code can work or not.

I have a properties file with key values in it, now when I use my search box to search for a key in the properties file to check whether or not it is there - I can't get it to check and return the key value if it is theere. I've tried a few methods but keep getting a null pointer exception when it hits line 15 in the code all the time so I'm stumped at the minute.

That's my codes but its wrong according to our prof. it should be in frame form. i don't know how to do it since i did not encountered framing since i was started in java.
I have a form containing several fields, 2 of which persist to different table in a database than the rest of the fields on the form. I have no problem persisting the data into both tables of the database, and after the form is submitted I reset the form to its default values. That all works fine.
But in the same session, when I open another form (a search form) and enter search criteria, which then displays a datatable containing the search results, those 2 values that are persisted to another table are not showing up, but the rest of the data is.
Here is the method that calls the persist methods:

The values do show up, but the problem is, when a subsequent form is opened in the same session (e.g. a search form) the field for that value shows the actual value, instead of the field being blank.'
I am not sure why the data from the one database ("parent") is showing up, yet the data from the other database ("child") is not.
Is it something I am doing wrong? I thought by setting the setter in the child controller class back to a new instance of the Entity class (PolicyPayment) that it would reset the form to default values, but at the same time retain (or save) the inputted values in the same session.
I have a button on UI which adds messages and when the user clicks on it the form gets submitted, meanwhile the user is clicking on refresh(F5) multiple times which is causing the same message to be displayed multiple times. To resolve this , I am converting the form from a synchronous submit to Asychronous but it is still not working. Below is the code:

I'm trying to build a method that can search a binary search tree for a specific target and then return the number of probes it took to get there. It seems to me that the best way to do this would be a recursive search method and a counter that tracks the number of calls. But I'm struggling with how to implement this. View Replies View Relatedso i followed a tutorial on youtube called "Java Game Development with Slick" - by thenewboston,URL....okay, so i have made my game / program, and now i just want to export it to a jar file that people can double click and play..unfortunately when i double click the .jar file nothing happens...i get the little "loading" thingy on my courser but it disappears after about 5 seconds and then nothing happens :(the way i made it into a jar file is by doing the following:
-right clicked my java project..
-clicked on "export"..
-clicked on java / Runnable JAR file
-filled in the stuff, (JARs destination ect..)
-pressed finish..
-then i got a jar file on my desktop and double clicked it....but as i said....nothing happens
