I dont want to click back button in this case, html page to servlet->here i have to call back to my html page with checked radio button and text box value .
I tried response.redirect(original.html)-->i cant able to display checked radio button and textbox value also tried requestdispatcher forward/include,html page comes newly from starting but i dont want it,i want to view in html page with checked radio button and text box value.

Feb 27, 2015I have a question in mind that this is my registration form. I am sending these values from HTML form to server and database. I have question that in my case if I click next to Add Another Mobile no in HTML.then a block is genereated and each time a new name is generated.
My Question is if I click 6 times then 6 name attribute are generated. How can I send and differentiate them on my server side.
Because at their I will use something request.getAttribute("Attr_Name");
But they are same. How to do this?.

Mar 25, 2014I am calling a jsp page from my servlet using the requestdispatcher.forward(myjsp.jsp) method. myjsp.jsp is creating a new thread which is parallely processing along with the servlet. The issue is that the jsp page is not displayed until the servlet finishes its execution, although the new thread is created by jsp and is executing in parallel. How do we have the jsp page displayed even when the servlet is executing.

The selectedCertificates will have the values ("AA","BB"). Now I will be passing the list into a hashmap in order to get the names and to display them on the jsf page.

JSF :: Getting Null Values From XHTML Page To Java Code
Nov 13, 2014My project consists of a web app where a user can select a area from a picture and f.e. if it is a office layout he can input the worker name and any peace of hardware that the area might have. In this case there are two categories: Hardware and Computer. Hardware - it has 5 dropdown lists consisting of printer, scanner and etc. Computer - like Hardware consists of many dropdown lists which add up to components such as processor, motherboard and etc. For me, considering this is my first ever web app project, is a huge step towards web development, I have used various mixes of Java, javascript and primefaces code.
My current problem: When a user selects an area he gets a dialog box where he is prompted to select his desired input, afterwards the user clicks the 'save' button and get's another dialogbox which has a resume of what he has selected so he could check out his input and save it by clicking the 'save' button in the resume box. My problem is that when the user clicks the save button the button calls a method which takes all the input and creates an Area object (Area object consists of various objects such as: Coordinates, Dimensions, Employee, ComputerList and HardwareList) and sends a query to the database, but all the values I get is null.

When I click Login button from login.jsp, it will navigate to home.jsp.
But before displaying home.jsp from he user, I want to call homeServlet.java's constructor/method.
This is because I want to populate a dropdown from home.jsp from a database.
I'm using MVC2 Servlet/JSP/Bean framework and AMAP, I do not want to execute javascripts/jquery for populating dropdowns.

Feb 7, 2014I have an app that saves pdfs and images from a web page. The web sections send info to the server elements running in Java. I have hardcoded the path to where the images and pdfs need to be saved but on the server, these paths will be different. I'd prefer to just save them to something like:
whateverMyDeploymentDirectoryIs/files/pdfs
or something. How do I find out what my root directory is so that I can make the path relative instead of hard coded?
