Sudoku GUI - How To Make Some Textboxes JDialogs Displaying Uneditable Numbers

So here is what i have so far for my sudoku game. Now my grid only displays textboxes where a user can input numbers but nothing will happen yet. I want to know how to make it so that the user can only input one character and only numbers. i would also like to know how to make some textboxes jdialogs displaying uneditable numbers that im taking from a sudoku website for the puzzle.

I have a question with this gui project I am building, I have gotten the code to work in very basic forms such as the main part of calculations and etc. But now I am in the phase of validation to make sure the textboxes aren't empty and are in the correct format. I have done alot research already. I would like to use a Joptionpane to warn the user of an invalid entry. But I have tried many different methods and I can't seem to get them to work.

The thing my coding for sudoku is not working for few inputs... it works fine with all its value initially at 0, but when i place numbers more than 4 at random places it stops responding (it doesn't show any value).
My assignment is to get a solved sudoku for these values:

I am learning Java but have a strong C# background. I am trying to figure out the syntax to do this in Java. In C# I would do the following to enable all text boxes in a panel

I am trying to make the variables that will be taken in from a type='text' box in HTML in NetBeans available to the other servlets as well as store and display the latest value passed into these boxes on the servlet page when the submit button is clicked or display null if the box has not yet received a value. However, I do not understand how to do this and do not understand as to why my current output is always null?
i) Is ServletContext().getAttribute("name of my textbox") really the way to pass the attributes to all servlets?
ii) Is ServletContext() passed in the service request?
iii) How to store the latest value passed into the submit box?

I've written most of the code (along with another classmate) to get this to work, but I can't seem to return the encrypted value. I'm also trying to figure out how to separate the digits (or if I'm supposed to) to make the numbers encrypted. The main kicker is that we have to be using methods to return the final values. Everything compiles, (It compiles, but no results really.)
A company wants to transmit data over the telephone, but they are concerned that their phones may be tapped. All of their data is transmitted as four-digit integers. They have asked you to write a program that will encrypt their data so that it may be transmitted more securely. Your program should read a four-digit integer number and encrypt it as follows: Replace each digit by the remainder after (the sum of that digit plus 7) is divided by 10. Then, swap the first digit with the third, and swap the second digit with the fourth. Then print the encrypted integer. Do the encryption in a method and send the encrypted number back to main.

I am working on a program that should take an input file as a command line argument and check if that file contains a valid sudoku solution. Right now the main error I am getting is my scanner isn't functioning properly and is throwing inputMismatchexceptions, but Im also not sure about the validity of my functions, and i cannot test them because my scanner isn't working.

We are making a tic tac toe game for my CS120 class and I am having trouble figuring out how to make our X's and O's. Is there a way to make shapes besides making two lines for an X and an oval with a white smaller oval inside to make an O? We have only learned the basics so far in class (i.e. events, inheritance, client-supplier, etc.)
These are our instructions:
Write a controller that controls the game. There is one human player (the X player) and the computer player (the O player). The name of the class must be TicTacToeController. In a sense, the controller is the game since the controller will 1) create a TicTacToeModel 2) create a TicTacToeView and 3) create a TicTacToeButton (you must write this class following the design pattern covered in class lectures), a label, and text field such that when the button is pushed, the player moves into the cell selected by the text field. After every player move, the computer moves into a randomly selected empty cell. When the game is over, a text message must be displayed somewhere on the screen the gives the status of the game. While you are free to change the appearance of the controller, the basic elements must be provided (a view of the game, a button, and a text field to enter the cell). I've just written a program that generates 100 numbers that range from 0 ~ 25 using arrays, the program calls another method that sorts the even numbers into a separate array and returns the array. I'm trying to make a program that generates 20 random integers between 1 and 20 and then prints the list of random numbers to the screen. After that, I want to print a different list to screen with the same numbers from the first list only skipping any number that has been already printed to the screen. So two lists are printed to the screen. The first one has 20 random numbers. The second one has those same 20 numbers but only prints the numbers in the first list that aren't duplicated. So if m

Currently, my code generates 20 numbers from 1 to 20 and stores those numbers in an array but I don't know how to print solve the second part of my problem. I don't know how to print the s different list only without duplicate numbers.
