I am using Java 2D API to implement Graph plotting. I am able to transform and scale the origin upright.

Now, I need to divide the x & y axes with frequencies (Ex: On Y-axis: 0 10 20 30 40 etc ..) and then plot points (Ex: [34, 54] etc) accordingly.

Which methods to use or way out to make this implementation?

Print Table (array) Where Have X Axis And Y Axis?

I want to print a table (array) where I have an X axis and a Y axis. 16x11. My code is as follows:

int Windchill [] [] = new int [16][11];
{
{60, 55, 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, 0, -5, -10, -15} //X
{0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50} //Y
};

The code doesn't work even though it's similar to

if I remember correctly, the 2 are correct just written in different ways.

where 0 is null (for now). I want to fill those in with a formula later, but I don't hardcoding them one by one is the most "efficient" way to do it

Plotting A Scatter Diagram

I want to plot a scatter diagram and I need to do this as soon as possible.

The graph is to make use of JComponent only.

The diagram title should show the Title: Graph of y on x

The scattergram should show points (x,y) of Npoints.

The diagram should calculate and draw a "line of best fit" for the data.

The diagram should also state the equation for the line of best fit.

I have installed eclipse and is it possible to get a code to run this?

Not Getting Divide By Zero Error

now ideally this might throw Arithmetic Exception.. but it prints positive infinity ,.. why.. ??

I made a calculator that does the basic operations but I want to be able to divide more than two numbers by repeatedly entering values using an arraylist and I keep getting the indexoutofboundsexception and I don't know why? Moving Object In Y Axis

I just have one problem with a "car" program in java. The objective is to move the car in the direction it is facing. Moving forward in the normal position (when the angle is zero) means moving in the x-axis. Choosing to turn the car function (for example: 90 ) and then using the forward function should move up or down the car in the y-axis. However the y-axis is not working.

Vector Math - Calculate Equation Of A Plane That Would Rely On All Axis

I am running into some trouble with Line-Plane intersection, my method works, provided I am perpendicular to the plane I want to intersect. This is caused be the plane equation (with my given x, y, and z coordinates, the equation is -Z - 1 = 0). So the equation is only relying on the Z value of anything inputted. Is there another way to calculate the equation of a plane that would rely on all axis? Here is my current code:

JavaFX 2.0 :: BarChart Axis Tick-labels Missing With JDK1.8

Currently I try to integrate a JavaFX BarChart into my existing Java application. Therefore I need a BufferedImage of my BarChart, so that I can render that snapshot on a Graphics instance.
 
I adapted the existing BarChartSample.java (Chart Sample | JavaFX Tutorials and Documentation) and removed all animations. The code itselfs works fine but I identified one problem -> my TickLabels are missing
 
The TickLabels are visible If I use JDK 1.7u51 but if I change to JDK 1.8u05.... than the stlye of my BarChart will be changed and my tick labels are not visible.
 
Did I missed something or is that a bug?

In And Out Degree Of A Graph

I have this code for reading a text file and printing out information about the graph, the program works perfectly but I need to figure out the in degree and out degree of the graph if it is an directed graph. So my question is how would I go about implementing that? I know what in degree and out degree does but in terms of the code I'm not so sure, so I'm thinking if the case of vertex 0,1 the first vertex comes before the second vertex so that would in an in degree right? But how would I do that?

Generate Bar Graph From Data

I need to generate a bar chart given the data that is in main. The relative performance of each sorting algorithm with respect to time, number of comparisons, and number of swaps for each data set (e.g., 50,000 –400,000 random integers). Each algorithm will have 5 bars corresponding to the 5 data sets. The height of these bars will depend on the performance of the algorithm for that data set.

I know how to write a bar with normal values like integers but for this I'm not sure because the values for instance comparisons and swaps are not given they are calculated. I just need to know what steps to go about doing that, you can even express them in pseudocode or even just explaining it I don't need the code, I think. Here is the main

Adjacency List Graph

I'm trying to read a text file of a graph and print information about the graph including the order and size of the graph, rather it is a directed or undirected graph, if it is directed the in and out degree, and the and a list of all vertices for which it is adjacent. The problem is the adjacency list is just printing out the list of vertices instead of the adjacency list. Is there something in my code that is problematic? Also I'm unsure of how to go about the in and out degree
