Trying To Display Array Results In GUI Window JAVA

I am having the hardest time trying to figure out how to display an array in a 1-window GUI.
I can display 1 book separately, by basically ignoring the array and creating a new object for each book, but I need all 5 books to display in one window, and that's where I'm lost. I'd really like to use the arrayI built to generate the books in the GUI. The information of each book appearing horizontally, and the different books appearing vertically.

I have the code here to populate a GUI. I have the math and then print out and return a single number. I have tried to use setText in the class CalculateButtonHandler.

I am using a GUI to display search results based on user's input server name. I am using MS Access as DB and I have the DSN set up correctly.But the search results are displayed for the first typed value in text filed. I am getting same result set every time though i input different server names .

I have been working on this for hours and cannot get it to work properly. The program is to count the number of characters contained in both strings and display the results. It is also to display the final statement, but only once. This version has a complete statement for each matching character.

I need to create a simply application that would display the results of two dice thrown five times and the total of those results. This is shown below in the attached file.
The problem is, I have a do-while loop that loops 6 times. Inside the loop, I have 2 random.nextInt(5) that generate random numbers. But how can I output the total? How can I make a variable equal to the sum of the two random numbers if the two random numbers are located inside a do-while loop?

I am writing a program that will have a GUI window and displays an image when clicked on the image changes and clicked on again the image changes once more. Here is what i have.

I've chosen to build a GUI that will initially display a window with 'x' number of buttons for different subject areas of physics (kinematics, waves, sound, circuits...etc). I would like to use an Actionlistener for each button so that when its pressed, the JFrame will extend a sidepanel or expand the JFrame with a new JPanel that contains variable Jtextfields so the user can enter data to calculate.
I'd like to know if its possible to do this with the JFrame or should I just open a new window altogether? I have some other features I plan to add to the program, but this is where I am right now.
how difficult is it to add a banner image and imageIcon? By banner image I mean create a Jpanel that will contain a header for the window and will have some cool physics jpg image.
I'm doing a program where a user enters in exam results for students. Once he's entered the code, the code should split the results in stars in 4 categories.
I am working with a while loop that prints out infinite results. What I want to do is, if the user enters 2 digits, say "12", it should output 1 "*".
If the user enters "21" and "22", it should output "**".
There are 4 categories of marks which are marked with ints range1, range2, range3 and range4, which are user enter digits. Part 1 of the code is to split the user entered digits into its correct ranges. the ranges are 0-29, 30-39, 40-69 and 70-100. I've done the part where when the user enters a digit, it goes into the correct variable. After that when the user enters a digit over 100, the enter results should show up as stars. For example

21 22 44 66 44 23 11 111 (the 111 is where the program breaks and moves on)
So it should then display
0-29 ****
30-39
40-69 ***
70-100
Whatever I'm trying, it displays an infinite amount of stars. If I try to use break, It only outputs a single star, no matter how many digits I enter

I have to write a program that calculates the average temperature for a month using parallel arrays (it is mandatory to use a parallel array). I'm new to Java (I'm more familiar with C++) so I get confused with the use of methods. I know how to compute the averages already, I just setting up the parallel arrays. This is what I have so far:

For now I just want to show the contents in my array before I start computing averages.
I can now call the DB on the query I want and return results. What I know want to do is build an array of the data, forward it to the JSP page and display the bits individually.
I am relatively new to java, and i am trying to create a window inside of a 2d char array, and eventually i will have to draw other shapes in this window. so for example
The problem is my window is not drawing correctly too the border, but a couple extra chars on the x columns. Here is code. The dimensions of the window will eventually be passed through scanner in main, if i ever work out how to even draw it.Also, in class we never learnt to use the Graphics class, so im pretty sure we are not supposed to use it.

I am trying to write a loop that calculates the distance traveled (distance = speed * time). It should use the loop to calc how far the vehicle traveled for each hour of time. My program asks for hours and then mph but its not calculating time * speed. Here is my code.

I am new to javafx I start using it instead of swing i used the scene builder for my forms the problem i faced i don't know how to have main screen with menu bar at top and depending the select from the menu it will open other windows and those window must be inside my window just like for example netbeans.

So, Iv'e been trying to make a simple Text Based RPG with Java, and it is going quite well, and my friends want to play it too but they aren't very tech savvy, so it's hard to tell them to get an IDE or use the CMD, so I wanted to know if there was a way to make my text-based game into a window, like using JFrame or something. All i need is a window that displays the text, and a bar on the bottom that lets the user input what they want (Kind of like a CMD).

When you compile that it runs a small window. I would like that window to be bigger when the file opens.
