So my class in project codes should have proper access to the other three folders(input, output, config). Then what can I do to feed the function a relative path? How would that looks like?
Question2:
Is that true, for windows and unix I have to write two versions of codes on system-dependant path?
I have a requirement where I have to send a file from a local system to unix box(present on client side) using java code.I have developed a code that is successfully sending the file from local system to client side unix box (I am connecting to client side unix box using VPN) provided I run the code in my eclipse IDE present in local system. But when I am running the same code in the unix box it is throwing null pointer exception.Might be the unix system is not recognising the local system. Please find the code.
I would like my application to execute a command in cmd. The command looks like
start "" /D "C:Riot GamesLeague of LegendsRADSsolutionslol_game_client_sln elease s .0.1.55deploy" "League of Legends.exe" "8394" "LoLLauncher.exe" "" "spectator 95.172.65.26:8088 P3hNrXYZlaM3iJ9ximtzJWHbwLhvbimJ 953089676 EUN1"
So my question is how do I do this?
I tried this, (just copy paste the command):
package MyProject; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.InputStream; public class Cmd { public static void main(String[] args) { try { final Process process = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("start "" /D "C:Riot GamesLeague of
I have a Java application this application sits on a Dedicated server and gets information about the machine and run commands on the machine.
I need it so that i can run these commands from pressing buttons on a website. For example i press a button to retrieve CPU info, it goes to the app, and the app sends the CPU info back.
I'm fine with the website and app its just the middle bit. How do i get the app to run commands sent from a webpage. Been ratting my brains for a couple weeks now.
I am new to the java computer programming world. i am having basic trouble making the statement full and complete. i am trying to get it to say "The speed of the car is <answer> ft/sec" i have tried reading in the my programming book from school but it doesn't tell me how to fix it. the errors I am getting :
For a shool assignment i have to create a java irc client. which responds to commands. the !SENDMSG command has two parameters !SENDMSG <username> <the message>.
i can get the username and the message seperated, but i would like to create a check in case someone gives a bad command like: !SENDMSG" " <-- note te extra spaces, or if someone gives only 1 parameter.
i have a program in UNIX directory /home/me/java/src
package bin; public class HelloWorld { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("Hello World"); } }
I have manage to compile it successfully(class file will be in bin directory) using command below: javac -d /home/t_bmf/java/bin HelloWorld.java
My problem now is how would I execute the class in bin directory in UNIX? I already tried different ways on how to execute it as suggested in my internet research The one I tried is this:
java $CLASSPATH:.:bin/HelloWorld but I got this error message: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: :/:bin/HelloWorld Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: :.:bin.HelloWorld
i m working on the SMS receiving using AT Commands using JAVA. i m getting the message of one page correctly using AT commands, but as i increase the size of SMS as 2, 3 or bigger pages the alphabets are converted to some thing like this
I need to generate a file in Java with Unix TimeStamp. Want to generate an ordered list of Data entry objects for a defined period of time e.g., getData (long startTimeStamp, endTimeStamp, long resolution).
1) I would like to generate resolution with random numbers by using Random class.
2) How to take Start and end timestamps to generate a file (i.e., writing into a file).
I have a unix program that simulates an accident evolving as a function of time and produces two files. I will focus on the first file before getting to the second. This first file has five output variables/vectors (velocity vs time, pressure vs time, etc), which are selected as part of the simulation input. These are the variables I have to put into Excel if I want to view the transient graphically. Where it gets tedious is that, if I want to view a different set of five variables, I have to rerun, extract, put these in Excel to plot. There can be lots of variables needed to properly characterize the accident.
The second file produced is a really large binary file. This file contains all the information that I'd need, precluding the need to rerun to view a different set of output variables. This is the file that seems tailor-made for a Java or something to be able to extract the information. That is, it seems like Java could be used to do this work: extract variable information from the large binary file. Eventually, I would like to plot it too and I know I could use Java there.
I think my steps are:
1) understand the format of my binary file 2) reconfigure the binary file for use with java (is this demuxing?) 3) learn java programming for this application: extracting information to produce something like a .csv file with time on the leftmost column and variable information populating the rest of the columns.
What I'm supposed to be doing is making it so the program can accept multiple filter and sort commands at one time, and each should be separated by a whitespace.I was thinking about parsing the input again, using whitespace as the delimiter, then normally progressing with each token, as though there was only one command.
However, coding this the way I'm doing it will firstly probably take hours, and secondly, it's likely not even right. I don't have any real way to determine which token contains which data from the Song objects. These are the specific requirements for this portion:A sort/filter command consists of one or more of the following options:
-year:<year(s)>
-rank:<rank(s)>
-artist:<artist>
-title:<title>
-sortBy:<field>
Any number of these options may be given, and they may be given in any order. If multiple options are specified, they will be separated by whitespace.
GazillionSongs Class (the main) Java Code: import java.util.*; import java.io.*;
I want to develop a dynamic webpage (using JSP & tomcat hosted on windows server) which will connect to unix server and on button "Show Files" click on dynamic webpage it should display all the files present in the unix server.
The button click should display the files which i can see when i run "ls -ltr" in unix server home directory.
I am creating a web application that runs on server X(unix) and it has another unix system mounted on it. I want to generate the file tree structure of this mounted unix file system and show it on to a web application so that users can select a file and move it onto this current unix machine.
I know this sounds stupid and you may want to say why cant we directly copy the file, I am doing a proof of concept and using this as a basis.
i am using a frame over which i am loading a dialog. The singleton dialog holds a progress bar. I have created my own swing worker. i am controlling the construct method of swing worker(which functions like doInBackground method).I am trying to call hidedialog from an external file. The dialog gets stuck sometimes. How do i solve it . It works fine on win7 but fails on win8.
I've just got a new computer and i tried to set the class path the way i did with windows xp but it's not working. This is what i have done. I added a Path variable to user variables and added C: Program Files (x86)Javajdk1.6.0_20/bin as the variable value. But when i got to command prompt and type javac HelloWorld.java it just tells me javac is not recognised as an internal or external command.
Also another problem is after trying this and it not working i tried to add a path to the system variables. I added a new path variable but i think once i did that it deleted the one that was already there. Is that going to mess up my computer? What the default path variable for windows 7 is?i've got the right destination as i typed cd to change directory and when i typed C: Program Files (x86)Javajdk1.6.0_20/bin it changed to that. And i noticed if i typed in the destination wrong its just made an error.
Cannot reinstall java on this windows xp. Get an error -1 and install didn't complete. There are no java versions installed and apparently no java control panel either.
