View RepliesI have a SOAP Client with wsdl to send a query to a SOAP Server. Along with the SOAP response I am supposed to attach a generated csv file (Not required to open and read - just attach).
SOAP Handler has been implemented at server.
Since it is client code I am not supposed to paste the exact contents online.
I can create new SOAPMessage and use AttachmentPart to attach the file but I am stumped regarding where to set it as response. We have used only javax.xml and apache.cxf.
I am new to web services and need to call a web service that has already been written. Below is the wsdl for the web service.I need to call the web service from my java program. provide the code to call the webservice?
<definitions targetNamespace="urnefaultNamespace">
<message name="CREATECONTACTUSResponse"></message>
<message name="CREATECONTACTUSRequest">
<part name="REQUESTTYPE" type="xsd:string"/>
<part name="SALESORG" type="xsd:string"/>
<part name="FIRSTNAME" type="xsd:string"/>
<part name="LASTNAME" type="xsd:string"/>
<part name="EMAILADDRESS" type="xsd:string"/>
<part name="TELEPHONENUMBER" type="xsd:string"/>
<part name="EXTENSION" type="xsd:string"/>

New to webservices. Can i get to create webservice which takes xml input. Parse it and gives the response to client.

Is it possible to send a duplicate soup request?Basically, I have a situation where two almost identical requests can get sent but right now the response comes back as one response. I wanted visibility to the two responses and the one gets dropped off
View Replies View RelatedI'm developing a SOAP client and have used wsimport to generate the classes, etc. and all is going pretty well, but the server requires several headers that I've been coding up manually, specifically wise:Security and o:Security blocks. While this is a valid approach, I think I'm probably doing things the hard way and I know .NET (SOAP being an MS standard originally) has some really powerful code to generate these headers. Does java have any similar counterparts? As an example, I'm writing code like the following:
SOAPElement token = securityElement.addChildElement("UsernameToken", "o");
token.addAttribute(soapFactory.createName("u:Id"), "UsernameToken-1");
SOAPElement userToken = token.addChildElement("Username", "o");
userToken.addTextNode(user);

I'm creating a SOAP Client with JS, this is my first time with webServices and I must have several mistakes in my code.
The poit is, with my code, I cant take acces to the WebService, but I don't know how to access to the methods inside. So the webservice gives me the following response:
<h1>Version</h1>
<p>Hi there, this is an AXIS service!</p>
<i>Perhaps there will be a form for invoking the service here...</i>
Instead of the correct XML for the method I'm calling.
This is the code of my SOAP client:
<html>
<script type="text/javascript">
function run(){
var objXMLHttpRequest = new XMLHttpRequest();
objXMLHttpRequest.open("GET", "http://localhost:8080/CrunchifyWS/services/Version?wdsl/", true);
objXMLHttpRequest.onreadystatechange = function () {
//alert(objXMLHttpRequest.readyState+" "+ objXMLHttpRequest.status);
[code]....
I think that te mistake should be in the XML part, but, as I said, this is my first time and I don't know what I'm doing.
When I try to do POST instead of GET I have this reposnse:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"; xmlns:xsd="w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"; xmlns:xsi="w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">; <soapenv:Body> <soapenv:Fault> <faultcode xmlns:ns1="xml.apache.org/axis/">ns1:Client.NoSOAPAction</…; <faultstring>no SOAPAction header!</faultstring> <detail> <ns2:hostname xmlns:ns2="xml.apache.org/axis/">WebServices-PC</…; </detail> </soapenv:Fault> </soapenv:Body> </soapenv:Envelope>
I've generated SOAP classes via wsimport from a local WSDL. All of the URLs in the WSDL point to the production services, but for testing I need to connect to a test location (different URL). There are dozens of examples on the web to set the endpoint, but it doesn't seem to be working for me - it's hitting the prod URL, not test.
PrepaidServices ps = new PrepaidServices();
ps.setHandlerResolver(new CustomHandlerResolver());
IPrepaidServices port = ps.getPrepaidServices();
BindingProvider bp = (BindingProvider) port;
bp.getRequestContext().put(BindingProvider.ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY, TEST_URL);
LOG.debug("New Port = " +
[Code]...
The debug correctly shows the TEST port being set correctly, but when executed, inside one of the handler resolvers, I have the following code:
private void logMessage(SOAPMessageContext smc) {
// These headers are null: WSDL_OPERATION PATH_INFO HTTP_REQUEST_METHOD HTTP_REQUEST_HEADERS
LOG.debug("WSDL_PORT = " + smc.get(MessageContext.WSDL_PORT));
LOG.debug("WSDL_SERVICE = " + smc.get(MessageContext.WSDL_SERVICE));
[Code]...
The top debug lines both show the PRODUCTION URL! Shouldn't at least the port be the DEMO URL that I'd previously set?
Am I doing something wrong?
I want to print RAW Request Response XML to console. I have created the stubs using wsdl2java axis2. wsdl2java has created 2 java files, one for stub and one for callbackhandler.
I am trying with below method but getting null value for
operationContext.getMessageContext("Out") / operationContext.getMessageContext("In");.
public void SOAPLogHandler(Stub stub){
ServiceContext serviceConxt = stub._getServiceClient().getServiceContext();
//**** Enable the Cache to hold the last operation
OperationContext OperationContext = new OperationContext();
boolean cacheLastOperationContext = true;
OperationContext.setComplete(true); // Enable the Cache value
serviceConxt.setCachingOperationContext(cacheLastOperationContext);
serviceConxt.setLastOperationContext(OperationContext);

I am calling a SOAP based webservice using JAX-WS and a client jar. I want to get a request and response somehow and save it for audit purposes. How I can do this?
When I google it, only Handlers come up, but, as far as I understand, it is not applicable on client side.
i have a service to save some form fields from the client and i need to add uploading image to that service using json. the service consumes json and produces json.

I am trying to hit the service which has been generated using apache cxf 3.0, I have generated the client using axis2 wsdl2java and whenever I tried to hit the service am getting as
"exception from OLB Service:org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Content is not allowed in prolog."
Not sure about the cause of the issue. We have made interceptors on the server side to verify whether there is any special characters associated, but there are no such characters from provider.
I work on SSH for creating a external tool to manage remote OS.
I find out the JSch library and i create the java GUI project as jar application, and worked for me very well. (i am working on Netbeans ).
I introduce the JSch library with Netbeans as follow. Right click on the Project-> Properties -> Libraries ->Compile ->Add JAR/Folder.
After that i try to transform the project to applet in order to work it form web server.
I made the transformation in all the code.
When i run the applet through the Netbeans it worked for me. When i build the project to create the jar file.
I create a folder with the my.jar file, index.html, a folder named (lib) which contains the jsch-0.1.50.jar file.
Then try to run the index.html, the GUI appear but cannot connect to the remote with the SSH, and does not give any error.
I think that the problem is that my.jar cannot communicate with the jsch-0.1.50.jar.
Why the project runs trough the Netbeans an does not run when i call it from the next html code.
index.html
Java Code:

I get this error when I load a HTML page with WebEngine. The HTML is getting generated by an own (Java-)ServerSocket. How can I figure out where the problem is? I can load the HTML file successfully when loading the(same) generated HTML file from the local filesystem. Maybe the http headers causing these problems ? On the other hand I can load the page without problems in Firefox. How to get more information ?

I was thinking of using URLConnection's method getLastModified() for comparison. But dont have a clue how to read it from this file. Am I perhaps solving the download-part incorrectly?

I am trying to create a Swing app that connects to a SOAP API. I have never messed around with web services so I sure this is user error .... The code below throws an error that says "Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction".

Using the concept of web service (SOAP), I need to have a web service running. The client page will pass an ID to the web service and in return the service will return some values retrieved from the database based on the ID passed, as output. The output so fetched has to be in XML format.

I'm learning about inheritance and on this problem I first have to create a class where I get/set methods and get user input for the data fields.
I suppose I should know it at this point but I don't know how to get the users name when they input it. I copied the whole code but the issue is at line 51.
import javax.swing.JOptionPane;
public class Order {
private String customerName;
private int customerNumber;
private int quantityOrdered;
private double unitPrice;
private double totalPrice;

I have date in string ex: 2014-08-08T17:38:58.316+05:30 and want to convert into 2014/08/08 17:38:58. I am using below code :
String date1="2014-08-08T17:38:58.316+05:30";
SimpleDateFormat formatter, FORMATTER;
formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSS'Z'");
String oldDate = "2011-03-10T11:54:30.207Z";
Date date = formatter.parse(oldDate.substring(0, 24));
FORMATTER = new SimpleDateFormat("dd-MMM-yyyy HH:mm:ss.SSS");
System.out.println("OldDate-->"+oldDate);
System.out.println("NewDate-->"+FORMATTER.format(date));
this giving me required value, but when i replace oldDate with date1 it shows me exception that not parse to date. Actually i am getting date in string of 2014-08-08T17:38:58.316+05:30 which i need to convert into date 2014/08/08 17:38:58. To convert into date i am using below code :
SimpleDateFormat simpleDateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/M/yyyy hh:mm:ss");
Date datecomp1 = simpleDateFormat.parse(String );
The issue is to convert 2014-08-08T17:38:58.316+05:30 into 2014/08/08 17:38:58.
