I am trying to create two arrays containing JLabels i am really stuck here and i am unable to move on .

So I am making a JPanel with two JLabels and it isn't working right.

is not registering the JLabel or add functions.

I have to create 3 JLabel for Option, Square and Direction. Well, I did but its not in the right place. It should be in the right Panel but i did change the code so its in panelRight1 but its still not changing? My program compiles and runs ok how ever when i open my Jinternal frame and click on one of the JLabels i get a error on the Cmd ther error reads as follows

I am taking the Class Algorithms and Datastructures and got an assignment for Lab that really throws me off. The goal is to create an Array out of a given CSV file, implement several Methods that get the size of array, etc.
I am still stuck in the first part where the CSV has to be imported into the Array. My problem is that I need a mechanism that figures out the needed size for the Array, creates the array, and only then transfers the data from the CSV.
The list consists of the following wifi related values:
MAC-Adress, SSID, Timestamp, Signalstrength.
These are on the list, separated by comma. The Columns are each of these, and the rows are the four types of values making up the information on a certain wifi network.
The catch is, we are not allowed to use any of the following:
java.util.ArrayList
java.util.Arrays
and any class out of java.util.Collection.
So far I used the BufferedReader to read in the file and tried to implement the array, but I get an arrayindexoutofboundsexception.

I am writing a program which writes down all possible equation y=a+b+c values from min to max (in reality this equation would more difficult, but here is just short example).

I need to create a method that returns a new array containing the componentwise sum of its arguments(if length is the same). For instance, if the input arrays are {0,1, 2} and {2, 2, 3} then the output is {0+2, 1+2, 2+3}, i.e. {2,3,5}.If the input arrays have different numbers of elements, the method should return null.
I came with something like this, however i dont know how to make a copy of an array from two arrays. My code obviously wont compile. package whatever;

Im looking for a means to store groups of static data..
so I understand these simple string arrays...

how to translate it into Java language due to lack of experience (2 weeks). My solution I've formed in my head is: create a new array for the numbers that are in improvement and then declare a "max" variable. Check which array's length is higher and print that length. What I don't know to do is: I don't know how to create a new array for each numbers that are passing through the condition.
Note: I couldn't find anything on internet about my problem so that's why I'm here.

I have an arraylist, list, that I need to take the size to declare an array, arr3, in another class. Problem 1: the size is giving me an error of "can not make static reference to non-static method getListSize() from the type FindItemInfo". I tried to change getListSize() to static and it gives me and error another place. I try to then fix that, and I get a new error... and so on.
I am using arr3 to store items the user can not afford. I have this next problem even when I input an integer for the arr3 size. I am getting a NullPointerException, and I can't figure out why the arr3[] is not loading. I tried debugging but can not figure out where I went wrong, especially since this code was working in the last assignment before I changed list[] to an arrayList. It always breaks at line 64, but I believe it has to be somewhere in the cashOut() method.

I have been working on this program for a while and now i seem to be stump it throws an outof Bound array exception error, this program is a matrix multiplication program and spits out the resulting matrix using multithreading. i have a running one and result is

Ok, so the program we are supposed to do is to create implement a employee class then create a main tester class that can accept user inputs for 5 employee names, salaries, and performance rating. After that, we have to input code to calculate a provided raise amount, then print out the array with the updated raises.
