Compile Error After Security Applied

I have an unbound list box that updates the data displayed on the form when a selection is made from the list.

I am having problems with this no longer working once I import the database objects into a secured database. I am encountering an error "Compile Error: Method or data member not found" with reference to the list box in the "findfirst" statement.
I have tried this many times before and after the security and the results are consistent.
I was otherwise ready to go with this new database. Any insight would be appreciated as always.

I just recieved a access project from a client, apparantly it works fine on their machine. I FTPed it to my machine. Both are winXP.
Most of the app works fine except when I try to bring up one form. I get this error.
Compile Error
Can't find Project or Library.
This is written in access 2000 and that is what I am running it on. I've checked windows update, my computer is up to date. That includes Office update.
I tried running this on a second box that I have, a win2000 server I get the same error.
It apprears something is not getting transfered, any Ideas?????

I need some help guys... i have created a code ... in which the user is able to create users passwords and etc....
The problem seems to be with one line of the code... which is

the error says User defined type not defined....its a compile error...

I tried to declare a variable to be type Database and when I compile the program it gives me an error Compile error "Use Defined type not defined"
this is the code that I have written:

I used "Option Explicit" at the beginning of a module. When I compiled the code, I received a Compile error that indicated the Set dbs = CurrentDb is not defined.
How do I define the "dbs =" variable???

When trying to open an Access database on the server, an error message appears - "Compile of hidden files error", followed then by a run-time error. There is no problem accessing the the server and opening the database from another PC? Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. Backups to CD have started failing at the same time.

I have developed a quote form that is working well. I want to print out a Quotation to send to my customer. Currently it shows the Qty, Item ID# and description in the detail portion of report. In the report footer, currently it will print out, Subtotal, Freight and the resulting total.
A problem arose when I tried to add the total weight of the items in a quote to the report form. I get a "compile error...variable undefined" msg when I try to open up the report by clicking a "Print Report" button I have on the form.Here is the code that is highlighted by the error msg. the Undefined variable is dWtTotal n red below.

I tried to create a form that recognizes two kind of users and when you log in it shows a different form, reading and seen videos I type something like this (code below) but when run in a click on a button it says....

Please help.
I am trying to set securities up on a database that resides on the network drive. I can set the securities, but when I do I am the only one able to view the database. All others get the following error.
You do not have the necessary permissions to use the 'Database Info' object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you.
I have found this error in a book and it was stated that the error occurs when you subtract the dbSecDBOpen permission of the MSysDB document. (Found in Access 2002 Enterprise Developer's Handbook, Chapter 8) If that helps anyone out. I did not do this, don't know how. I just set securities through the wizzard.
Anyway, I am not sure what the MSysDB document is or how to get to it to make changes. And, I was also wondering if setting the securities links to the computer's hard-drive and if I would be required to set the securities on the network computer so that the link could be made?
Any ideas, I am stummped.

I have a field in a table called [PostalCode]. It is a Text field.
I have a report that used the [PostalCode] field. This is a report in a template that I downloaded from Microsoft.
If I enter "1234" in the field in the table, it looks fine in the table.
If I use the field in the report, it display as "1234-"
If I enter "1234567890" in the field in the table, it looks fine in the table.
If I use the field in the report, it display as "23456-7890"
I do not want any mask whatsoever and just want the value to be displayed as the user enters it.
I have looked at the properties of the field and there is nothing setup, I looked at the properties of the Form that edits the field and there is nothing also.
If I look in the actual report I see the following bit of code ,it is the control source for the Text box that is used to display a number of fields including [PostalCode]:

I have sever forms and selecting a Theme Font work fine with all except one form.
The field is a Memo Field (I have other forms with different memo fields and they are fine) that just doesn't want to use the Theme Font(s). I have several Theme Fonts and it doesn't work with any of them.
So far I've deleted the control saved it and then put it back... no good. I even created a new form and the same thing happens.

I have two comboboxes on my form. When the value of the first combobox (SourceWH) changes it performs a requery on the second (DestWH) as the drop-down list needs to be filtered depending on the first value. I have this working fine but my problem arises when I need to be able to swap the values of each combobox. I have created a command button which stores the value of each combobox and then swaps them but my problem is that if I click the button the second combobox becomes blank. I guess this is something to do with the requery taking place after the value of the first combobox is updated but am unsure how to rectify this problem.
The first combobox has the following expression in the expression builder:

In my Access 2010 database there is a form with a large number of checkboxes enabling me to select/deselect certain record details.
Each click on one of the checkboxes triggers a VBA routine setting true/false values in one of several tables linked to the main table.
A query over all records is filtered by the true/false values of the linked tables and the resulting set of records is displayed in the (continuous) form.
The header of the form contains a text field with the value "=GetRecCount()" displaying (correctly, but randomly fast) the number of records selected:

I am relatively new to Access and VB. I am trying to create a log-in system that assigns a security clearance to each user and then restricts access to certain forms and reports based on security clearance. Right now, I have set up the log-in system - that seems to work fine. But when I try to lock the form based on security clearance, I get the 2450 - Form Not Found - error.
The code I am using on the form is as follows:

I get the following error when trying to compile code int an MDE:
This error is usually associated with compiling a large database into an MDE file. Due to the method used to compile the database, a considerable number of TableID references are created for each table. The Microsoft Jet database engine version 4.0 can only create a maximum of 2048 open TableIDs at one time. Exporting a database as an MDE potentially can exceed this limit if the database has a large number of objects (table, macro, form, report, etc).
There is no accurate method to estimate the number of TableIDs the Jet database engine uses during the process of compiling a database as an MDE. However, each VBA module and each form uses one TableID, as a result, if the database has 500 forms, and each form's HasModule property is set to Yes, as many as 1,000 TableIDs are used.
There are only about 10 linked tables to SQL server, a decent amount of code but nothing that bad in the Access FE.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
As I understand it, the code will run faster when compiled?
