Creating Labels Report With (TimesToRepeatRecord) Criteria

Dec 7, 2014

In my database (db) I have first create simple report which can print label for certain article in number of times user wants to. That part of db is marked as OldLabels in db that I have attached below.

Now, I plan to update this code via form NewLabels so user could choose more than one article and for each article he can define 'TimesToRepeatRecord' number. Unfortunately, I am little confused how to achieve this. This is the old code (from Report) which have done most of the work.

Code:
Option Explicit
Dim intPrintCounter As Integer
Dim intNumberRepeats As Integer
Private Sub Report_Open(Cancel As Integer)
intPrintCounter = 1
intNumberRepeats = Forms!VPDEKLARACIJE!TimesToRepeatRecord

[Code] ....

I have also attached db named "Demo" so you could see the issue.

Modules & VBA :: Creating One OnClick Event For All Labels On Form

Mar 18, 2014

I would like to make clickable labels on my form, so if the user has any questions about the field, clicking on the label would bring up a message box that would give them more information. I know how to write onclick events one by one for every label, but there are a lot of them, and I feel like there has to be a better way.

I put the label names, and the text I'd like for the message box in a table, and I'd like to have a module that will allow me to click on a label, and have the right text come up.

I've researched ways to do this and have come up with nothing. The farthest I've gotten is an array tied to the form open event that just displays all the message boxes from first to last, one after the other. I believe that's on the right track, but is not a workable solution as is. I need to be able to tie the message box to the actual label the user clicks.

Count Only Report Labels

May 18, 2006

I have a report that is broken down by regions. Each Region could have multiple entries for each. I would like to have a Summary at the bottom that counts each Region on the report and gives a total for the report. What I am getting is it counts each time there is an entry for the region. I assume since I have the Region as a Header it still thinks it is listing it multiple times. Any help???

Reports :: Possible To Create Two Different Labels On Same Report?

Feb 12, 2014

1Create a report called rptCustomersByGender. The report should:

a.Print your company's name at the top of the first page only
b.Print your data labels at the top of each page
c.Group your data by gender
d.Display all the customer information in the detail section
e.The customers should display in ascending numerical order by Last Name
f.Below the list of Female customers, it should say: "Total number of Female Customers:" and then the total number of female customers should display. Do the same for the male customers
g.The page number should display at the bottom of every page
h.The list of Female and Male customers should each print starting on a separate page.
i.Make sure the report runs without producing any errors and looks professional.

I created a report and grouped it by gender but I can't do step F. creating two different labels for each group..

Updating X-axis Labels In A Chart On A Report

Jan 14, 2013

I have data in a chart over four groups that are just labeled A, B, C and D in the underlying data. The table wants to label the x-axis of the chart SumOfA, SumOfB, SumOfC, and SumOfD. Ideally I would like to drive these labels by text boxes on a form, but I can't even figure out how to change them manually. I got to the data table in the chart designer and changed them there, and they'd show as changed in design view, but then they weren't changed in report view.

Reports :: Making Labels With Report - Repeating Label

Jul 18, 2013

I am making labels to stick on containers that we're shipping out. Some shipments will have only 1 container and some will have more than 1.Can I have it repeat a label if there are more than 1 container for an order?

For example:
Shipment 1 has 3 containers. The label says "3 x DM" and it will make one label.

Can I set it somehow to print that label three times? What about adding incremental text, e.g. 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3?

Reports :: Printing Labels - Report Producing Blank Page

Aug 13, 2015

I have a non standard size report (for printing labels)

The report is just over 10cm wide and just over 15cm deep.

I have solved the blank pages caused by exceeding the width but I'm still getting a blank page when I move some data down. I am still within 15 cm but it's throwing me a blank page. Even if I extend the in design mode depth to say 20cm (ie the height in Detail) it's throwing a blank page (I can see this in print preview).

I initially set up the report (it's a long time ago so memory fades) using the label wizard setting up a label 4*6 inches (10.16 * 15.24 cms) and it is this i'm trying to tweak. Is there a property I'm missing somewhere?

Reports :: Text Within Report Labels Different Size In Preview / Print?

Jan 12, 2015

I have always noticed that when creating a report, when you make a paragraph using a label, the alignment and size of the text/paragraph is always different when you preview the report than when you design it.

This makes alignment of paragraphs tricky, especially when you are trying to insert a bold faced word into the middle of a block of text by using a separate label.

I am using Access 2000

Trouble With Creating Proper Criteria Selection In Table With LookupWizard

Dec 7, 2005

Hey I am trying to create a query that selects only certian values within a field in the based table. Easy ehough. HOWEVER, the field in the table that I am trying to select certian values from is a LookupWizard. So in that one field, there is a drop down box with one other value for a total of two values in one field.

So I am at a loss for how to properly select things using the criteria in a query. Ive tried Criteria: Like "value" for both values in the look up wizard, but no luck.

Forms :: DMax Criteria - Creating A Form To Input New Return Parts Into Database

I am currently creating a form to input new return parts into a database. I am trying to automatically generate a tracking number (##-AA-####-####). I have gotten myself to generate the ##-AA-#### in a list box and almost was able to generate the sequence number, 0001, 0002, etc. using the dmax function. I would like to generate the sequence number one higher than the highest, depending on part type and last 4 digits of part number. Our parts have unique last 4 different p/n but more than one can fall under the same type.

I've been reading up quite intensively on using QueryDef's collection to try to pass a Parameter to a Query in order to then Open a Report. But can't seem to get it to work. I've been trying to write an SQL statement that the VB will accept in code but never got it to work. Depite copy/pasting the SQL from the Query Access creates. regardless.. I really need some help with this one. Thanks. Procedure follows. Get error that Report not found... The name is correct... I just want to pass the integer (index) from the ListBox into the Query then Open the Report... Thats all...

Private Sub previewReport_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_previewReport_Click
Dim intSelectMonth As Integer 'The Index of the Item Selected in Form List Box
Dim db As Database
Dim smReport As Report
Dim smQuery As QueryDef
Dim month As Parameter

Set db = CurrentDb
Set smQuery = QueryDef![GetReviewsMonthQuery]
smQuery.Parameters![rvMonth] = 9 'Using 9 as September just for Testing
Set smReport = Reports![Review Schedule by Month/Analyst]

DoCmd.OpenReport smReport, acPreview

Exit_previewReport_Click:
Exit Sub
Err_previewReport_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_previewReport_Click

I have a form with a subform in it and I would like to print the contents of that form to a report. I am able to print now, using a "print" command button, but it only prints one record, just the one that is being displayed. I want to be able to print a report with all the records that are in the filtered result.

Also, when the press the "print" button I would like to give them an option "Print this record?" "Print All records?". depending on the input, it would print the report.

Can someone please help me with this? Much appreicated.
Thanks.

My report has lots of 'Label' fields with standard text based on a query for the fields components. I want one of my labels to only appear on the report for print IF a record field called 'Program' (which is from a list) has the word 'RHICHOP' at the beginning of it. If RHICHOP is not in the beginning of the Program then leave out the label text.

Tables :: Creating Expression On A Report

Mar 4, 2013

I have a database of students that have taken tests. That database includes how many attempts it took them to pass. I have successfully generated reports that sort the exams by type, date, student, etc. I would like to also somehow insert a formula to show the pass rate of those exams on the top of the report. I know I can get into design view and build an expression, but how would I build an expression that would create a pass rate percentage based on whether or not a student passed an exam on the first attempt.

I have a DB with a column titled "Attempt" and the options "First, Second, Third, Fourth". I would like the expression to generate a percentage of students that have "First" in their box (as opposed to anything else) out of the total number of student records.

We need to track student pass rates in my school for a re-certification process.

Reports :: Creating SKU By Store Report

May 21, 2014

I have a table, it is fairly large but pretty simple.

It lists store numbers in the first column. Each column that follows is a SKU, and in the field it either has a 1 or a 0 to represent 1 if it is stocked in the store, and 0 if it is not.

Can I write a report that will show what each store has, and how do I do that? I basically want it to return the sku number (and its description) if it has a one in the box, but not if it doesn't.

Creating A Dropdown To Generate Report

Jun 9, 2015

I couldn't find a better way to organize my data for an ongoing history project and so am trying my hand at Access.

So, I've got an Access 2000 database built, with 3 main tables - have relationships set up and which look to be working fine (two of the tables each link to one field in the third, main, table).

What I want to do now, is to be able to have a combo box - whether on my existing form (or likely a separate one), that I can just pick the town I want, then the database would return all the records in the main table for that town, and put that into a report.
