Forms :: Calendar Form To Count Attendance Of Employee
Aug 5, 2014
I am trying to make a database for my employees to count their attendance according to the days of the month and then get their salary. How to create a form that show the days of the month and then i can add the names of the attending employees.
- tbl_company (containing company info) - tbl_employee (containing employees info) - tbl_cim (containing working contracts info, related with both tbl_company and tbl_empployee)
In the tbl_cim i have starting date of the contract, working time per day (in hors, according to the contract), ending date of the contract, etc.
I need: - once a month i have to generate a "excel-like" sheet containing employees (rows) on a selected company, days of the month (1-31) i choose (columns) and hors worked on each day (according to the working_time from tbl_cim). The working hours i have to be able to modify. - the days before start date of the contract have to be empty; the days after end date, also. - the saturdays and sundays have to be marked ina different color (cell background).
I ask: - what tables i have to create additionally? - how can i create a form for this infos? - is there a way to do this with less vba as possible?
In my country, Romania, this type of "spreadsheet" is called a "pontaj" and companies have to do it every month. I would like to step from Excel to Access with it.
I'm currently attempting to setup a small database to track a few things for the company I work for, namely attendance. Currently they use an excel spreadsheet that covers the current year. This worked great for them when they were still a small company, but with the number of employees shooting from 50'ish to a couple hundred the spreadsheet is just not a viable option any more.
What I need is suggestions on the best way(s) to go about implementing this.
First, I need to do a 1 year look back, on a montly level is fine. So from January 2008 back to January 2007 will work fine. What i have currently setup is a form with 12 of the basic Calender controls built into access 2003. Unfortunatley these wont quite work.
Basic layout of my database so far will be an employees info table, a lookup table for Attendance codes and their infraction values and an attendance (or I suppose more technically an absence) table. I would like to have a form that displays a calendar view for the last 12 months, that will allow me to view / update any absences for an employee. I would also like a way to insert company holidays / shutdowns in to the attendance table in a way that marks it on any employees calendar as a scheduled day off. I assumed i could do this with a simple "all" employee along with the dates and have the calendar search for entries with the Employee ID as well as the All flag and mark those on the calendar.
I think if i can just get the calendar setup covered I can figure out the rest of the data aspects, I'm just stuck on finding a decent way to implement the Calendar Aspect.
Trying to modify this calendar database to track employee leave. I need the calendar form (frmCalendar) to show all employee leave on the calendar using the "Show All" command button on click event. This works if I specify a uID (UserID from employee table) in the code, but only for that specific employee. I need all employees at the same time up on the calendar so I can see if there is more than one employee off on any given day.
Events or leave is populated on the form through "Private Sub DisplayEvents" and the mdlCalendar module.
I'm trying to make an Attendance Report for my students. I want the report to show each student and how many times they've been "Present", "Late" or "Tardy" in a month and in one year.
I've set up my db with two tables.
Table 1 - contains Student ID and Student Names Table 2 - contains Attendance ID, course id, student id and the Status ("Present", "Late" or "Absent")
I used the sum queries and it doesn't do the count function properly. This is a copy of my query.
I've got an attendance form set up with check boxes for each day I want to check attendance. I have two problems with this form.
1) All the boxes start out with little squares (I want them to be blank) 2) If I try checking a box for one person, it checks all the boxes in the column (same with unchecking).
I'm creating a Database where I can track quotes, orders, customers, support/faults and products. Is there any way to have a Form that looks like a calendar.. ie this will link to my orders table and show what orders are due shipping on each day.
Relationships all work and reporting works. I now want to create a form for entering attendance into a single event as a batch. I only want to enter the event ID one time and then be able to enter participant ID's for all attendees. The event coordinator will have a tablet running the db at the door and each participant will use their ID card to be scanned into the event.
I don't want the coordinator to have to reselect the correct event between each participants scan but instead to enter the event once and have multiple participants ID's entered for the one event. The date field is defaulting to current date/time [Now()].
I have a form, which registers attendance at an event, with three fields - ID (a combo box), Name, and Present.
When an attendee comes in, they give their number which is entered into the first field. Pressing carriage return, their record is loaded, and I can then check the 'present' field. Then I click the next button and await the next person!
I'd like the simplify the whole process - so that as soon as the 3 digit attendee number is typed, the present box for that record is checked, and the form is reset (curser back to the combo box to search for next record).
In short - all the registrar ever has to do is enter a three digit number!
I am trying to make a class attendance form, where user chooses classType ex:"English, French" then the program shows all of the students from tblStudents that are enregistered in that class. And some how make it so that user could select on or many users in the same class and press add button which will add the students into attendance table for the current class and the current day,
**Allso what I would like to do if possible after the form above works, is to if the student has been allready added for the current day, the check box becomes un editable with appropriable comment in the comments line for that student or for examples the student registered for 12 classes, the attendance keeps track of the classes and when the student tryed to go to 13'th class the check box is uneditable and in the comments line for that student metions the reases.
I am using a form to input attendance data. I would like to know how to log an individual as being out on vacation for a week, month or so without having to input the staffs name and date for each day they are out. Would like to Enter their name once with the date range they will be away from the office.
I have a table called Attendance were information about the Student and the class they are attending is collected.
Another table called Student, this hold information about the student. I am using a Form called Attendance to input my information. What I am trying to achieve is:
BeforeUpdate on a text box:
When you input Student_ID it looks at the Student Table to see if the Student ID is valid before the information is updated to the Attendance Table.
I'm creating a Gym Database and need to be able to track attendance for specific classes. I need to have a system in place allowing me to do a register for attendance for each activity.
I also need to be able to calculate fees based on attendance. So if a person attended Gym 5 times in the month (£5 per session) and then Swimming 3 times in the month (£2 per session). My system should automatically calculate this based on the attendance tracking.
Also: In the booking stage, I need to have a field telling me how many spaces are left on each activity. Say for example I'm booking Person 99 in for Swimming and there is only 11 places left I need the field to display 11 places left. After that booking it should update saying 10 places left because Person 99 is booked in.
1. Select Employee form combo. 2. Enter Hours 3. Finish
Next: 1. Enter New Employee ONLY, not Previous Employee 2. Combo is named EmployeeTime 3. PK is EmployeeID
Code: for Combo
SELECT tblEmployees.Employee, tblEmployees.EmployeeID, TEmpOrCon.EmpOrConText, TEmpOrCon.EmpOrCon FROM tblEmployees LEFT JOIN TEmpOrCon ON tblEmployees.EmpOrCon = TEmpOrCon.EmpOrConID WHERE (((TEmpOrCon.EmpOrCon)=1 Or (TEmpOrCon.EmpOrCon)=3)) ORDER BY TEmpOrCon.EmpOrConText DESC;
I'm trying to create an attendance form for my school. I have an Attendance Form already that has the following information:
Student Name Date of Attendance Attendance Code
What I would like it to do is, automatically populate the date for all the students enrolled in the class. So if the Math class has 5 students, the form would automatically have all five students with March 28, 2006 and the next day have March 29, 2006 and so forth.
Any suggestions on how to go about achieving this task?
I have an Employees table. I have a form to Add Employee and a form to Remove Employee. Remove Employee works great. It's a drop down box, they select the employee and click on remove. With Add Employee, I have a textbox where they enter the name and a button to add that employee to the database. I setup a VBA script to take the value in the textbox labled "empname" and insert it into the Employees table when the button is clicked through the onClick event.
Is there an easy way to do this? I need the UI to be simple. I know you can bound the textbox to the employee name, but then when they open up the form it will show all the records and they have to click the new record button to add someone. I know this question was asked very recently, but it wasn't answered very well.
I have the db attached. It's in Access 2003 format. The macro in there is the VBA script that I wrote, so don't worry, it's not harmful. I'm very good with SQL, and I would've chosen to use ASP for the user interface, but the people that need this don't want to run any servers (IIS). They just need a file they can double click on and work from there.
i have access table inculded 2 column , each column inculde 3 words(false, right, 5%).i have a form show this items in dropdown list and i want to
count false from the 2 column once thee user choose it from the dropdown list count right from the 2 column once thee user choose it from the dropdown list
sum 5% from the 2 column once thee user choose it from the dropdown list.
I want show the count data in one of my form. So i use Dcount in control source but i get Error for the below 2 fields.
=DCount("[A2p]","[Customer Table1]","[A2p]='No'")
A2p - is field from table Customer Table1 in this i want to count the No A2p is text box format in my table.
=DCount("[DateU]","[Customer Table1]","[DateU]='date()'") DateU - is the field from Customer Table1 in this i want to count records matching the today. DateU is in date format in my table.
I tried to bound the box used count option but not working.
I am building a database for employee training. In the FrmNewTrainingGroup I am trying to create a form that will allow selection of a single class, a completion date, one or more instructors (or none at all) and a list of students by LName, FName, MI, EMP#. in my latest attempt, I have tried using a query of the TblEmployee to act as a go between, and dropped a subform into the FrmNewTrainingGroup, and that is not working.
Trying to get the student roster to work has been frustrating. I have been attempting to make it a check box select list that is also searchable by LName and FName [which would perhaps display a reduced list of names, as the name was typed?. This list would update a class roster text box to reflect all the selected employees for training so far, prior to the class being committed (I am planning on a button on the form).
I have a form lets call it 'Customer' and I have a table called orders how can I write 'Excel like' Countifs and sumifs formulas? I have been trying the IIf functions I believe correctly but am not getting the results expected or rather nothing at all!
What I am wanting to do is for example look at the table 'orders' and count all 'orders' which are for the 'Customer' in the active form this field is imaginatively called 'Customer Number' and 'orders' that are for simplicity 'rocks'
Basically if the client in the active form exists in the orders field count how many times they have placed an order for rocks.
I want to be able to use the Count function that will reside in the header of the main navigation form that will count the records in each navigation sub form (of which there are 6 sub forms)
Each sub form has the same primary key which is what I am doing the count on.
I have done this on another form with no subforms by creating a Textbox with this code: =Count([PCNumber])
I have tried to put this in the header of the main navigation form with various itterations, the last being: =Count([Form]![NavigationSubform].[PCNumber])
But what ever I do seems to come up with "Error" in the textbox.
For info, the form names are:
Main form :StockViewsForm Subform:NavigationSubform
PCNumber being the PK I want to count.
Is this possible of do I need to specify the names of the actual forms that reside in the Navigation Sub Form ??
I have a login form that closes automatically after a specified time if you do not login with user name and password. It also keeps track of how many times you login and whatever value you set for a password reset it forces you to change when that value is met.
Problem: If you do not login within the allotted time even though a password change has been scheduled, my code resets the login count back to 0.
This is what i want to get around if I can. Either I have to pause the timer or stop the reset.
After you enter the password is when the login count is fired.
And also when it checks if a new password is required.
In the form is the table tbAssembleias, but I want to put from the other table which is not present in the form:
1. a control that count how many are present (= yes)Ex: Appearances 22. a control that sum the votes of those presentEx: Votes 9I already have a query that count how many are in the meeting, but cant realize how to pass the information to the field in the form..This is the SQL view of the query with the real field names - and working: SELECT Count(tbEntidades.tbAssPresente) AS ContaPresentes, tbEntidades.tbAssPresente FROM tbEntidades GROUP BY tbEntidades.tbAssPresente HAVING (((Count(tbEntidades.tbAssPresente))=True) AND ((tbEntidades.tbAssPresente)=True));
