Forms :: How To Make Text In A Listbox To Flash Red

I'm working on a series of forms for a company that I'm currently employed at, and on one of them I've made a listbox which will display records which need action in the next 2 weeks.
That's all going fine. However, it it possible to make the items in the listbox flash red? Just so that our external worker REALLY has no excuses!
Just to clarify, I want the text identifying the records (E.g. Name, FinalDate) to flash, but not the headers for the columns in the listbox.
Okay then, after much trouble and confusion, I finally realized I need to use an Extended listbox in order to allow for multiple items to be selected from a list on my form (rather than the evil multiple selection combobox!).
However, now I am trying to figure out how to make one listbox (IndustryClassification) only be visible if the item "Industry" is selected in another listbox (TypeOfBusiness). Coding I can use for this in the AfterUpdate event of the listbox?
I have a formula box in my form (textbox) called InventLeft that would calculate product in my inventory. I'd like to make this box flash if the result in it is Less than 2..This way it would catch attention to my user to order more product..Is this possible? Thanks in advance..
My form utilizes five list boxes. The user must choose from each of the five list boxes in order to filter out a specific product from a products table.Every time the user makes a selection, the next listbox is filtered, and set focus to. Each listbox often contains more than 1 choice within it, however, there are a few cases where there is only 1 choice to be made.
How can i determine with code when a particular listbox only has 1 choice so that I can have the choice be made automatically and then set the focus to the next listbox in the series?
Is it was possible to wrap text in listboxes. some fields are very long at times and i was hoping there would be a way to wrap it so I didnt have to make the width of that column extra long. I am trying to conserve as much space as possible on the form.
I know how to make a text box entry "required" such that one cannot exit a record until a value is entered but cannot figure out how to make it required only if another field on the form has an entry. None of the form events seem to support that when focus moves to another record as far as I can tell. What I want to do is display an error message if the condition is not met on exiting a record but to also remain on (or go back to) that record so the required text box entry can then be made.
I need to create a message box or a form or something to flash on the screen to tell the user that a piece of "Update" code is running. the update code will be updated reports from marketing returns, but the 3 branches who use the information are separate so I am creating an update form to download and update the table.
The code for the update is already working, but can take a while, so I thought a message or splash screen would be useful as the update runs on start up.
It would have another use, I have a report which is made mainly of calculated fields on an onPrint event and also takes a while to work it out, so a similar screen would be more useful than my current spinning circle and blank screen.
I have an unbound listbox on a form which displays a list of staff, both past and present, based on an SQL query.
I want to be able to differentiate between current and past staff using different colors, i.e. Black text for current employees and red for employees who have left, based on a field (True/False) in the original staff table.
I have a form which contains a listbox. It is a multi-select listbox. And I have a button on the form which runs a report. But I want the report to only show the selected records from the listbox. The report gets its records from an underlying query. But how do I make the selected records on the listbox become the query criteria?

I have a CITIES listbox that is populated with values from a stored query.
I would like to make it multi-select and populate a LOCATIONS list box and a NAMES list box based upon the CITIES that are selected.

I intended to have the variable LocQryStr as the row source but I abandoned the idea of having multi-select when I saw that .Selected(I) never returned true. Its like the values aren't read in this subroutine.
I have a list box called "product list box" based on a query called "searchqry", i also have another listbox called "type list box" , how do i get the type list box to only show "types" based on the section in products list box?
Is there a way to make just part of the text in a text box bold, or to use different font sizes in the same text box?

One thing I'd like to be able to do is to specify the line height of a blank line in a text box. I'm using carriage returns created with: Chr(13) & Chr(10). I could see defining the font size of a hidden character, but I'd need to know how to assign a font size to a piece of the text in a font box.
1. On my main form, I have a listbox, I would like to edit the values of the listbox.
To do this, I have a popup form with 2 listboxes, one to have the values of the listbox on the main form, and the other listbox with option values for the 1st

Hello i want to use as a front end as i can create better forms etc... i want the end user to enter information into a form in Flash and then it automatically updates the access back end? is there a simple way of doing this??
Firstly, is it possible to hide unchecked values in a listbox? I have a user with several roles and I want to only show the ticked roles in the listbox.
Secondly, can you create a hyperlink on listbox values? i.e, if I click on "Manager" in the roles listbox, it follows that to another form and opens the record about managers?
I would like to juice up a form with a little animation (logo). I tried embedding a Flash movie, but it will only run in a seperate window, and that's clearly not what I want. Placing an animated GIF in a form doesn't move a bit. Any ideas?
how can I make a textbox flash when a certain time has been reached such as a delivery time textbox...so if delTime is set to 11:00am and you want its textbox to flash if delTime is 9:00am.
hi I'm trying to search s specific vlaue from an access database. The problem starts when i have multiple resolts... I managed to send the query from flash and get 1 resolt, but how can i get multiple ??? please help! ohad
I haven't used Access in a looooong time and building a document tracking database for work. I am setting up my data entry form and would like to have a text box appear depending on the selection from a combo box. So, if the user selects "In Review" a text box will appear for entry of the reviewer's name, likewise if the user selects, "In Work." In the other cases (options in the combo box) the document is not being revised, so no name needs to be entered--so no need for the additional text box. Make sense? Any guidance/advice as to how to go about this? Thank you!
Is it possible to fully flash (Clear) the MS Access application window title bar? I mean to let it appear fully empty without the "MS Access" and the Access logo, the key.
I made it but I wasnt able to remove the MS Access logo, the key from the title bar
I've created a form with a (simple) Flash animation on it, but it runs very choppy. But when a message box is active, it runs perfect. It seems that when the focus is off the form, it works fine, but otherwise, it doesn't. Any ideas? :confused:
